About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the majority of my life. My current furry companion is a 5 year old Golden Retriever and two cats. I have cared for family pets and take in friends animals for short and long term. I’m currently on summer break from working in the schools, so I am very flexible schedule-wise. I live in the country and have lots of space to walk pets and enjoy the outdoors. My pets are sociable and love other people and animals. “Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”

About: I have had a life time of experience of have pets in my life and care for them as a kid and into an adult. I love the fur babies, we currently have two boxers and a cat. I am able to do dog walks, house sitting, and drop ins at times as needed. Let me know if there are any special needs, meds, diet /directions i needed to follow in caring for your pet. I have given oral and injection meds to my own pets and is comfortable doing so. If there is a special routine that you have with your fur baby and would like to keep going while in my care feel free to make me aware of it to make the stay comfortable for them also. Also any schedule you have are welcome too. I generally go by what instruction that are giving by each owner. I have a large yard. It is current not fence in. I do have running cord for my pets so they can move freely round the yard with supervision. I also live near a dog park so daily walks are available. My dogs love car ride too, so those are also include in their stay if they are one who love to ride.

About: I’ve taken care of bunnies, cats & dogs since I was 18, I am very caring and love taking care of those fury animals that are apart of your family! I may also spoil them :) I’m currently a stay at home mom so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends when you are unable to! About: Taken care of all pets since a very young age. I've had multiple cats my whole life and a recently passed dog aswell as fish, rats, guinea pigs, and insects. Family and friends have asked for me to pet-sit and for a year I took care of 2 adorable puppies while their parents worked late to start their business. Currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule and have absolutely no problem calling off once or twice a week(I hate my job I wish I could care for animals full time) I spoil all of my pets and have no issue with treating your babies the same way! About: One of my favorite things to do is to take care of and spend time with all types of animales, but especially dogs. I love how they give unconditional love, and I love reciprocating that love! All my life I have taken care of all types of animals, including 12 years taking care of dogs. I am a stay at home mom and have unlimited time to spend taking care of dogs whether that be in boarding them or doggie day care or whatever a client needs in taking care of their dog. About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.
