“Our terrier mix puppy has been going to Grace’s for a few weeks now (2x weekly for a full work day) and I can’t say enough good things! My husband and I found Grace because on the days my husband can’t come home during lunch, we didn’t want our puppy to be crated or left unattended all day. Grace and her family treat our puppy like their own dog, she becomes part of their family while she’s there. She gets tons of playtime, attention, affection. I work on a labor and delivery unit so if they can trust me with their babies you should be able to trust me with your pet. I work three twelve hour shifts a week and will have four days out of the week to help out with your pet needs. I can always provide my schedule in advance so you know my availability. I use situational awareness when dog walking. I prefer to utilize the public green spaces provided here. Lastly I have an apartment and fenced in yard that can provide a safe space for your pet.

When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, exercise, medications, and any special needs. I also provide plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship while ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and well cared for. I believe in keeping pet parents updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind while they are away.
About: I’m new to the area and excited to be living on the East Coast! I’ve spent my entire life around animals, and about 10 years ago I ran a successful pet-sitting business on the West Coast. I’m excited to get back to doing something I genuinely love. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals—dogs, cats, hamsters, hedgehogs, lizards, snakes, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and plenty of others. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, from Pit Bulls to Chihuahuas and everything in between. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets, puppies, anxious pets, animals with special needs, and pets who need medications. The one exception? Spiders. (((shudder))) Never spiders. I know every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and care for your pets the way you do. Whether your pet needs a brief visit or several hours of companionship, I’m happy to tailor each visit to their needs. Walks, meals, medication, playtime, or simply some company—I’m happy to give your pets the attention they deserve. At this time, I’m offering check-in visits only and am not able to provide overnight care. I have a special-needs rescue dog of my own who cannot be left alone overnight. However, I can make as many visits during the day as your pets need and can stay for as long as necessary during each visit. I have plenty of references from previous pet-sitting clients and am happy to provide them upon request. I understand that trusting someone with your pets - and your home - is a big deal, and I want you to feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pets are safe, happy, comfortable, and cared for just as you would want. My #1 priority is to provide loving care when you’re not there. I’m available all day, seven days a week—including holidays. I’m happy to accommodate early mornings, late nights, and even last-minute requests. I can work with your schedule. When I’m in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow the pet’s normal routine and schedule. This helps ease the anxiety of having someone new in their space while their parents are away. I also respect your privacy—I know how it feels to have someone go through your belongings, and I could never imagine violating that trust.
About: I’ll probably remember your dog’s name before I remember yours. It’s nothing personal. I’ve had animals most of my life and currently have three dogs and a cat. I’ve raised puppies, cared for senior pets, given medications, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. One of my own dogs is dog reactive, so I’m also used to watching body language, managing triggers, and giving dogs the space they need. Mostly, I just really love animals. I go to the National Dog Show every year and visit local shelters in my free time. I’m not allowed to foster anymore because that’s how I kept ending up with more pets of my own. Plus, I’m always happy for an excuse to get away from my desk and hang out with an animal for a while. I’m big on safety and following your pet’s normal routine. One of my own dogs is reactive, so I’m used to paying attention to body language, managing separate spaces, checking doors and gates, and being aware of our surroundings on walks. I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave, whether that’s feeding, medications, walks, crates, or just making sure a certain door stays closed. I know the little details matter, and I want your pet to feel comfortable while you’re away.
About: I have several years of experience dog-sitting for my neighbors every summer. I find joy in keeping pets entertained and cared for when their families are away. In addition to dogs, I have experience with a variety of animals, including rabbits, cats, a bird, and my own dog. I can ensure the safety and high-quality care for any pet you have.
