“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. Rillan is definitely a dog person. Our dog loves to play with other dogs, but dogs need to be monitored so they don’t get too crazy. She has a nice outdoor fenced play area and inside open space. Like a good kindergarten teacher, Rillan makes sure each dog plays nicely, separates those that need a time out and also gives individual attention. About: I have taken care of a large variety of dogs since I was in middle school, outside of the 3 I have grown up with. I have always been reliable to feed, walk, play and give potty breaks according to each dog’s needs. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from 5 lbs to 150 lbs, and dogs of all ages. I work part time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! I mainly work in the afternoons, but my house always has someone available for constant socializing. Whenever I am not at work, I am at home, and will have plenty of quality time to give your pet. :) I love to go on long walks, and have friends who like to join so your animal will be thoroughly socialized. I ensure your dog is never bored with plenty of play time and attention. I am happy to take your pet to a nearby dog park as well, if that is something you are comfortable with.
About: I’ve been a life time animal lover! I grew up with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Westie. I currently live on a 300 acre farm with 9 cats. We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can offer a relaxing atmosphere and all day care on weekends along with morning and afternoon care on week days. I can also board or do drop-in visits for fish, hamsters, or horses. Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. I have grown up around dogs, cats, horses, and other farm animals. I have my degree in Veterinary Technician. I have a little bit of dog training experience. I have trained hunting dogs along side of my husband. I promise to care and love your little one as if they were my own. I will always be there with them. I will make sure they are safe. I am free Friday nights, Saturday and Sundays. I do work Monday - Friday. I have a very flexible work schedule. I do work for family. I can do drop offs Monday mornings on my way to work. I can do pick up Fridays when I’m off. I work from home and I live on 10 acres of lovely mountain property. I do not have a fenced yard. I do have 2 outdoor 12X10 kennels set up. I would never let a dog go out potty without me on a leash. I spend about 30 minutes outside with my own dogs every 1.5 hours. I am outside most of the day unless it’s extremely hot or cold. I am with the animals 24/7. If your dogs likes to be outside I can put them in the kennels for extra outside time. If they like to be inside I can leave them inside while I take other dogs pee. I have a Furbo camera installed so I can view them at all times. Must be good with cats.
