“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. She followed instructions, such as giving Ollie his enrichment toy and taking him outside. During the visit, there was an accident in the playpen that was not communicated to me and wasn’t fully cleaned up, and I also noticed Ollie’s water dish was empty. I appreciated her kindness and willingness to help, but I would have liked clearer communication about how the visit went. That said, she was good with Ollie and he really liked her.”

I, regularly, handle very friendly and very unfriendly/anti-social dogs and cats, which is very fun for me! My dog will never enter your home. When I house sit overnight my dog stays with my sister. She is perfectly happy there and I don’t have to split my focus. My job is to focus on YOUR pet! During walks and in general, I do not allow dogs to interact with people or other dogs/pets. This is a big safety concern, as I often know nothing about other people/pets in the area. I do not take those types of liberties with your pets. We will instead turn a corner, cross the street, come back the way we came, or I politely inform them that ‘this is not my dog’, ‘we don’t have time today’, etc.
“We were a little apprehensive, never used Rover before, we were unfamiliar with Rillan, just had past reviews to help us choose. Happy to say, we were pleasantly surprised! Rillan is definitely a dog person. Our dog loves to play with other dogs, but dogs need to be monitored so they don’t get too crazy. She has a nice outdoor fenced play area and inside open space. Like a good kindergarten teacher, Rillan makes sure each dog plays nicely, separates those that need a time out and also gives individual attention. She sent pictures and stayed in touch, just for an afternoon of doggie day care! Our dog’s day ended with a nap and snuggles with Rillan and another dog hanging out on the sofa!! About: Hello, my name is Brielle! I’ve had pets all my life I can take care of cats or dogs or both! Any age pet welcome! I work in state college from 5AM-1:30PM. I’m available in the evenings from 2-7. I’m pretty flexible on what I can help out with and I can have a set schedule. I talk to the pet owner. About: As a dog owner since a little girl, I understand the love and connection between their dog and owner. I understand that owners want the best for their pets and I am willing to be that trustworthy person! Very flexible and willing to work with busy schedules! I work from 9-5 but work close from home and am free most weekends to be fully attentive to your pets as well as my own. I have a back porch and a safe environment to walk dogs. Parks are close by and I have a dog myself who can keep others company and make them feel more comfortable.
About: I used to run my own successful pet sitting business out of the Hollidaysburg veterinary clinic with the help of Dr. Kendra. I had many happy, recurring clients and really enjoyed working with local families and their pets. I have experience working with all types and sizes of animals (as well as personalities). I currently own 3 German Shepherds, 3 cats and 3 parrots. I look forward to meeting your family and fur babies! I currently work full time but I’m available anytime time on my off days and both before and after work on any other day. I can stay overnight at your home or stop in through the day, depending on your needs. I’m also available for dog walking or other care services such as bathing. I am available for overnight and drop in services as well as pet care services such as walking and bathing. I am very flexible and willing to work with all types of clients in all types of situations.
About: I grew up on a farm and have always had a deep connection with animals, especially dogs. I've effectively worked with everything from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I have a nine year old German shepherd, who I've raised and trained from a puppy. I would love to make sure your pet is as happy and comfortable as possible. I am currently a student. I spend most of my time at home while studying. I would love to take care of our furry friends, while I have plenty of time to devote to their care. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs that would be friendly or can be put upstairs. I am available at any time, day or night, to care for their well-being. About: I have been caring for animals since I was a baby. I have had numerous family dogs and just this past summer I rescued and nursed an abandoned kitten. Pets have been involved in my life for more than I can remember and they truly make life better. I am also involved in an organization called Project Paws that works to promote adopting animals and supporting animal shelters. About: Work from home, so have the time to dedicate to the care of your pet. Also have a large yard with electronic fencing, can pamper your pets as much as allowed. I work from home so can pet sit and ensure the pets are well taken care of. Experienced in several areas of pet care, not to worry about your baby being well taken care of. :D Can provide pet care daily or overnight stays, not a problem. About: I grew up taking care of pets for neighbors and family, and have had many of my own. At home now, I have our dog Kona and a bearded dragon named Norbert, plus two kids. I'm comfortable with caring for all dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I'd love to send you photos and updates if you would like so you know how things are going while you are away. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I'm home most of the day, so your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. I absolutely love taking walks so we will be doing plenty of those. If your pet needs a specific feeding or potty schedule, just let me know and I'll stick to it. Our yard isn't fenced, so your dog will go out on leash for walks and potty breaks several times a day. My Dog is super friendly and always up for a new friend. If your pup prefers quiet time or needs a crate to decompress, I can absolutely make that happen as well. I will go over your dogs preferences when I get a chance to talk with you. I'm more than happy to make accommodations to fit your pets needs.

About: I've walked dogs, as well as watched them while the owners were away since I was little. I don't currently own any larger animals, but I have always handled them. Any dog wouldn't be an issue I currently could fill pretty much any need! I have a few hours of every day that I am busy, but I can be available pretty much anytime! I have an unfenced in yard that I would keep the dog leashed within, but I also know many of the dog friendly hiking trails within the Altoona area. I would be will to do whatever your most comfortable with!
About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. Lots of play time in the fenced back yard. And snuggles on the couch.

About: I will give your dog my full attention as well as my children. We all love animals. My children are super gentle and loving and love to take walks so finding time to take your dog for a walk will be no problem! I am home all day so your dog will get lots of attention! I am choosing to do this because the kids want a dog but I am not fully committed to buying one of our own quite yet, so dog sitting will please everyone. I have a huge yard with the option of fenced in and unfenced areas. We have very few neighbors so if your pup is a barker it will be not a problem. Lots of space to take dogs for walks without running into other people or animals.
