About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoor walking paths, sidewalks, and a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in loving hands. I own a local fitness studio, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. Most weekdays, I'm available between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for walks, drop-in visits, or spending quality time with pets. My mornings typically begin around 8:00 a.m., and I'm at my studio from approximately 9:00–11:00 a.m. and again from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Because I have flexibility throughout the day, I can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, meals, and companionship. Whether your pet enjoys an active walk, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby, I'll make sure they receive attentive, personalized care while you're away. I know that every pet is different, so my first priority is getting to know your dog's routine, personality, and any special needs before their stay or visit. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own while keeping your pet's routine as consistent as possible. About: Although we’re new to Rover, we’ve owned dogs our whole lives and understand that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, others just want someone nearby while they nap. Our family (including our two daughters) are all dog lovers, so visiting dogs become part of the family while they’re here. About: I have basic experience watching dogs of friends and family. I have experience overnight house sitting, walking dogs, and quick check ins. I am excited to gain more experience on Rover. “I reached out to more than eight dog walkers, and Stephanie was far and away the most reliable, punctual, communicative and considerate. She walked our dog Mia twice a day for an hour for two weeks straight (one weekend excepted, as she was at a wedding). On at least one occasion, she came early (with notice) to get the walk in before some rain, and on another, she heard popping sounds at the park (which scare my dog), and drove 15 minutes out of her way to another park. My mom, who worked with Stephanie for the pick ups and drop offs, can't say enough good things about her. I can drop in between bus runs to take your dog for a walk and perform a welfare check for your cats or large animals. I am available to stay with your pets while you’re on vacation, or we can arrange for me to stop in throughout the day instead. I can stay in your home to care for your pets while you’re on vacation. I can check on them, or walk them between my school bus runs Monday through Friday, and I have weekends off to be with them full time.

About: I've had animals since I was a teenager, always responsible for taking care of them... I'm that person at a party that would rather hang out with the pet rather than the people. I currently stay home and help take care of my 90 year old father in law. I've got plenty of time during my day to get out and care for some critters! About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoor walking paths, sidewalks, and a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. I own a local fitness studio, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. About: Although we’re new to Rover, we’ve owned dogs our whole lives and understand that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, others just want someone nearby while they nap. Our family (including our two daughters) are all dog lovers, so visiting dogs become part of the family while they’re here. My wife (Leigh) is home in the evenings and on the weekends so we both get to give our dog and visiting dogs a lot of attention and love. We keep our availability realistic so every dog gets the time and attention they deserve. We have a fully fenced backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks. Our own dog is friendly, but we don’t assume every dog wants an instant playmate, so introductions are always slow and supervised. If your dog needs their own space, that’s not a problem. We’ll follow your feeding schedule, medications, and any instructions you leave so their stay is as close to home as possible.

About: While volunteering for dog rescue for 6+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to foster over 160 dogs of all ages, administer just about every type of medication, and vaccinate 1000’s of dogs traveling to foster and adopter homes I do not work for anyone else. My time will be fully dedicated to your pet along with my own and with as much love I have 3 friendly dogs at home. I have the ability to keep dogs separately in open or closed rooms. Crates or not crated. Once comfortable, they can spend time on the couch and playtime with other dogs with your approval.
