About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. About: While I am currently unemployed and staying at my parents home, our family dog (Havanese) of 17 years recently passed away in February 2026. Now that my mother is retiring this summer, we wish to fill the empty home, and our combined newly gained free time, with some furry friends! I work from home full-time, in a single-family home with a fenced in yard. About: I am experienced with all breeds from chihuahuas to pit-bulls. We have a nice size yard and a lovable dog and cat. We have a straight hair labradoodle and s strictly indoor cat. We have raised dogs, cats and rabbits. Our son has been raised with dogs and cats and is very good with animals of all kinds. I have experience with giving medication, trimming nails and other minor grooming tasks. Dog walks around the community is an activity we enjoy doing. On those rainy days we like to sit in the living room and relax. Our dogs enjoy being brushed and just being loved on. Working at a doggie daycare (Nemacolin Wooflands) and sharing almost everyday with them has been a joy in my life and theirs! It’s a bond with a dog that is worth more than life itself and that’s something all people should experience! I work full time but I am willing to work with you and your pup on a schedule. “It was our first time using Rover and Lindsey was an excellent companion and dog walker for our pit bull mix! Her report after each visit was thorough and usually included an extra anecdote about their time together and great pictures! Lindsey very concerned and asked for our advice when our dog wasn't eating much food when we initially left. We appreciated her initiative. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. Overall a great experience and highly recommend Lindsey!”
