About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.

Lydia was my first dog, a 75 pound shepherd mix with anxiety that I slowly trained because she came from living in a shelter her entire life. I know what it's like to worry about leaving your pet in a kennel where they can pick up diseases or pests, and they have dozens of animals to look after. In my home your pet would have their own space, be taken for walks regularly, and be given much more attention than at a kennel. Animals need attention in order to thrive, but sometimes busy lives make it hard to give all they deserve. Hiring help is the best way to meet their needs while you're taking care of the other parts of your life. March 2025 note: I am only able to do walks and drop ins at this time. I typically walk about 25k steps a day and can lift over 200lbs, so that carrying my 90lb dog in an emergency isn't an issue. Since graduating college, I have been working in the animal field for over a year now. I dog sit a friends house that has multiple animals that take different medications and specialized diets. About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

I’m a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to a sweet Golden Retriever who’s very much part of my everyday life. Caring for pets is something that feels natural to me—it’s woven into my daily routine, not something squeezed in as an afterthought. My Lucy Goose is a large Golden Retriever with the sweetest, most gentle “little dog energy.” She’s very social, kind, and welcoming, and does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She has happily shared her space with smaller dogs and special-needs pets, and all interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I work during the week for about 6–8 hours a day, and outside of that time my life revolves around walks, fresh air, playtime, and creating a calm, loving home. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule, and I’m intentional about making sure every pet in my care gets plenty of attention, affection, and consistency. I treat every pet like they’re my own—learning their quirks, honoring their routines, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, backyard playtime, or quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them right where they are. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can truly relax. My home includes a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and I supervise pets closely throughout the day. I also have a few pup gates to ensure safe calm and private pet feedings or if quiet time is needed. I also use cameras for added peace of mind and awareness while I am out and about. Whether pets are in my home or yours, I follow routines carefully, respect boundaries, and keep a watchful eye on behavior, comfort, and wellbeing. I communicate openly and provide updates because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and cared for.

I had to leave town for a week and he needed someone to walk him in the middle of the day, and she was great about communicating with me regarding how he was doing during the week. She also was prompt to initiate a meet and greet before I hired her, and she was calm and patient as Arlo became comfortable with her. I will definitely be asking for her help again in the future!”

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.

He has a medical condition - Cushing's Disease, which requires meds to be given on schedule 3x a day, and more potty breaks than a well pup would require. Her lifetime of experience and ease with animals was obvious from the moment we met. Benji's comfort and confidence with Kate, her family and their home, was immediate. As someone who had been nervous about leaving my buddy prior to meeting Kate, I wound up feeling very confident and comfortable leaving him with her! Kate was fantastic with Benji! She sent me photos each day, which allowed me to see his activities and how much fun he was having on his vacation! She also kept me informed of how he was doing overall, with his meds, and didn't hesitate to ask questions or let me know about any concerns that she had - I so appreciate these interactions! Kate is an awesome sitter and person, and I recommend her with all of my heart! She took wonderful care of my Benji, and I know that he's looking forward to his next vacation with her!
