Rocky is a special needs Aussie with a history of seizures, so staying on a very strict medication schedule is extremely important. Derya went above and beyond to make sure Rocky was safe, happy, and well cared for the entire time I was away. He took Rocky on daily walks (his favorite thing), sent tons of pictures and videos, and even messaged me every time Rocky received his medication, which gave me so much peace of mind while traveling. About: I didn’t start out as a “cat person,” but when my daughter asked for a cat in 2008, everything changed. Seventeen years later, I’ve shared my home with four beloved family cats, cared for two foster litters, and volunteered for five years at a no-kill shelter in New Jersey. At the shelter, I gained hands-on experience with socializing cats, giving oral medication, and tending to their daily needs. I know how important the little things are (like a fresh, clean litter box) because they make life so much better for cats. I take pride in providing that kind of thoughtful, consistent care. About: I have my own cat who I got when she was a tiny bean! I have watched my neighbor's dogs and let them out when needed. I lived with a dog in college and took her on walks. I am waiting for my job to start up in mid-June, until then I have open availability! When my job starts I will be open some weekends and later in the evenings. About: My mom is a zoologist, so I was raised learning how to treat all animals with the best care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special food conditions. I am usually pretty flexible after 3:30pm on weeknights and anytime on the weekends! When caring for your loved pet, I will treat them as if they were part of my family. About: I’m a Penn State student, formerly an Animal Science major and now a third-year studying Psychology. About: I have been a volunteer foster at Centre County Paws for 8 years. I have fostered 8 week old puppies to 13 year old senior dogs. About: I have taken care of a large variety of dogs since I was in middle school, outside of the 3 I have grown up with. I have always been reliable to feed, walk, play and give potty breaks according to each dog’s needs. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from 5 lbs to 150 lbs, and dogs of all ages. I work part time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! I mainly work in the afternoons, but my house always has someone available for constant socializing.
