“Alexus was wonderful with our fur babies! We have grumpy 15 year Yorkiepoo, Dooney, that doesn’t do great with new people, but and he was fine with Alexus. She even gave Dooney his medicine. We also have a rescue Yorkie that weighs 2 pounds who needs to be coaxed to eat. Alexus let him sit on her lap and held his food dish until he was comfortable enough to eat! She’s the dog whisperer ? Alexus was great with communication, very flexible and sent us awesome photo updates every day. We would love to have Alexus look after our babies again, and would recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. I have grown up around dogs, cats, horses, and other farm animals. I have my degree in Veterinary Technician. I have a little bit of dog training experience. I have trained hunting dogs along side of my husband. I promise to care and love your little one as if they were my own. I will always be there with them. I will make sure they are safe. I am free Friday nights, Saturday and Sundays. I do work Monday - Friday. I have a very flexible work schedule. I do work for family. I can do drop offs Monday mornings on my way to work. I can do pick up Fridays when I’m off. I work from home and I live on 10 acres of lovely mountain property. I do not have a fenced yard. I do have 2 outdoor 12X10 kennels set up. I would never let a dog go out potty without me on a leash. I spend about 30 minutes outside with my own dogs every 1.5 hours. I am outside most of the day unless it’s extremely hot or cold. I am with the animals 24/7. If your dogs likes to be outside I can put them in the kennels for extra outside time. If they like to be inside I can leave them inside while I take other dogs pee. I have a Furbo camera installed so I can view them at all times. Must be good with cats.

We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours.
