She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. “Being a very paranoid mom i dont trust anyone with my babies. My second lil one has motion sickness and cant take her anywhere so we decided to board my girls so that they spend some quality time playing with other dogs and socialize at the same time. Mandeep has sent timely updates about their food intake, their routine etc and took a very good care of my babies like his own. They played and stayed happily for 4 days at Mandeep's. I constantly texted him to send pics n videos as this was my first time here and i got paranoid, he did send pics, videos, updates with lots of patience. I will definitely board them again here. About: The last year I've been cat sitting for my neighbor. She has 7 total, one of them being an older three legged cat. Because of my flexibility, I've been very reliable with when I'm able to cat sit, as well as gaining a lot of experience in general due to how frequent it is.
About: I love taking dogs to the lake to play in the water, and walk along the beach. I don’t have a fenced in yard but it is big. I also have a horse field behind my house that I have permission to take animals in and play fetch in the field. My daughter loves animals and is very attentive to them and there needs. She is very careful when it comes to small dogs. I have a clean and smoke free home. I love sending pictures while your animals are in my care that way you know they are okay. About: I’ve always had pets as long as I can remember! And that’s a long time!! My husband and I have years and years of experience caring for all types of animals! From cats to bunnies, fish and hermit crabs and always dogs!! Even a bearded dragon! Right now, we have two Fox Red Labs, two outside cats, fish, and a bearded dragon… and chickens. We just raised 7 Fox Red Lab puppies as well! We have almost 4 acres for the dogs to run and have fun and we have a large fenced in play yard. As a pet mom myself, I understand how hard it is to leave your fur babies in someone else’s care! I know how hard it is to leave them! We’ve used a couple of sitters thru Rover and have had a great experience. I would be honored to be entrusted to care for your four legged family member! I am a stay at home mom, able to give lots of attention to you fur baby! They will get lots of love and will always have access to drinking water. When I do need to run an errand the pups will be crated. Our dogs love to go outside so it’s not unusual for them to go out every two hours or so which provides ample time for potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Our whole yard is not fenced in but we do have a large fenced in play yard with plenty of room to run! I will use a leash to keep your pup safe outside of the play yard and they will never be outside unattended. We can introduce our dogs slowly, one at a time or however you are most comfortable. I prefer to have a meet and greet before booking so we make sure we’re a good match and so your pup can meet ours ahead of time.

About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mlm and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.

My little guy was making his trademark excited noises from the car as we approached Vasu's house. Care included indoor play with toys, nice long walks, birdwatching from the window, visits upstairs with Vasu's husband, and, of course, meals and treats. About: My entire life pretty much I've grown up around animals! I've had different rodent, and currently have 2 cats. The last 10ish years my family and I have cat/dog sat for multiple family members and friends. The last year I've cat sat for my neighbor multiple times. As far as regular work goes, I'm only doing part-time due to the limit on how many hours are being given. I'm also not enrolled in school, so my schedule has more than enough time to fit in some extra pet care. I have experience with giving medication (mostly pills), so if your fur baby has meds that are needed to be given, I'm more than willing. Like a lot of animals, I enjoy basking in the sun. So, taking your animals on long walks isn't an issue either. Your animals needs are my priority.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. I have been a dog sitter for friends and family my whole life and have taken care of dogs for my nanny families in the past! I am currently a part-time nanny, but fit in dog care in my off time! About: I am an absolute animal lover! I have had dogs, birds, fish, a cat, bunnies, mice, lizards, guinea pig, and hamsters! I have been around animals since I was probably about 4 or 5 years old. My grandpa gave me my very first dog (a beagle named Lady) and it was love at first site. Ever since, I have always had a dog! I currently have an almost 12 year old staffy mix named Stoli and 12 fish (mixed kinds). Stoli and I always enjoy a good run or hike or trip to the lake for a swim. After working at the animal hospital I enrolled in school to become a Certified Dog Trainer, which I completed several years ago. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

I stop directly after work (6 pm is quitting time) back at your house, then return to spend the night after feeding my own dog. I provide routine meal times, potty breaks, litter clean-up, medications as needed, treats as positive reinforcement, play time, cuddles, walks and other exercise, and if your pets are used to sleeping in your bed, they are welcome to do the same with me! I do all of this in your home so your best bud doesn't have to stress about too many changes while they are missing you. While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I am a background -checked government employee that prides myself on being dependable and trustworthy. I discuss my scheduling limitations with owners to ensure they are getting a sitter who is the best fit for their pets.
About: Hello! I have always had dogs in my home since I was born, and I have been helping to take care of them for years. We currently have 3 happy dogs in the home, who are all very friendly! I am very accustomed to giving pills or special food on a schedule along with frequent potty breaks.
