Some things you might like to know about me: I’m a wife, I love animals (obviously) the outdoors, gardening, reading, history and I’m a nurse who graduated from Saint Vincent college - I could be a great fit for you and your pet! I’ve had many growing up: dogs, cats, goats, chickens and bunnies. I’m very comfortable with caring for animals and have experience with all different kinds from my own pets, friends, and animal shelter volunteering. I’m also open to watch and care for any other types of pets that might not fit the category of cat or dog! Message me so we can discuss! As a nurse, I only work 3 days per week! Typically one time or “on occasion” jobs work best, and attending 2x daily might not be possible if it’s on a day that i work and my 3 days that I work vary from week to week. About: There was always a dog a part of my life. I grew up with a wonderful dog who I loved dearly. I know many people who have dogs and I am always the first to be playing and cuddling with them. I now have my own standard Bernedoodle and he is the best. He is higher energy so I love to take him for walks. I am very used to dogs and understand they all have different personalities. I always try my best to make sure they feel comfortable. I’m currently working casual as an operating room nurse and when I do work I am usually done by 3 pm, sometimes earlier than that. I will feed your pet and take your pet outside based off your instructions. If desired, I will play with your pet and make them feel loved. I love to know about your pets personality and what they like or don’t like, so that I can understand them better.

About: I graduated with a BS in animal science with a companion animal emphasis, obtaining knowledge/experiences through classes, labs, internships, and employment. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. I also worked as a wildlife rescue & rehab intern and aquarist intern during undergrad, focusing on animal care and husbandry. Lastly, I have owned/helped care for family pets almost my whole life (including rodents, rabbits, and a dog) and have pet sat dogs and cats for family friends/neighbors on the side. I am beginning a full time gig on July 13. I will not be working a typical 9-5, so my availability may vary week to week and we can discuss further details upon inquiry! I will not make myself available if the time allotted is not appropriate to truly care for your pet. I deeply care about animals and would love to do what I can, especially since I cannot have my family pup & chinchilla with me at school. I will surely abide by clients' wishes regarding their caretaking directions and preferences. About: I have experience taking care of big dogs, small dogs, big cats, small cats, chickens, lizards, rabbits, and fish. I have experience looking after pets of friends and family while they're out of the house for the past 5 years. I have a great deal of patience in training and caring for animals. I'm currently available on weekends, with Fridays most preferred. I work fulltime Monday through Thursday so at the moment those days are going to remain unavailable. I believe respect for animals, owners, and their environment to be super important. I adhere to any rules and guidelines when entering a client's home and I work to provide my client's pet with my utmost attention and full energy. About: I would like to own my own pup, but my lifestyle doesn't allow me to give it the attention it needs. Dog sitting is the perfect balance between allowing me to care for a pup when I'm available and not having to worry about the responsibility when I'm traveling. My family owns 4 cats - Peaches, Pepper, McCoy and Wonks. They are cool cats, and are mostly unbothered by other pups being around, as they grew up with my father's dog - Jake Dog. Jake Dog is a very intelligent GSP whom I had a hand in training and learning training techniques in both public puppy school and in home private lessons. Not that I want to train your dog, I just want to walk it and play fetch with it. I will only take in a dog that I am able to commit to full time for the duration of their stay.
