If there is an open yard that is enclosed by a fence I will play with them for at least 30-45 minutes before going in for the evening.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. My parents owned 10 acres and I helped care for dogs, pigs, rabbits, birds, sheep, goats and more. I currently own a four year-old golden retriever who I have trained since a puppy, and I am currently beginning training for him to become a Therapy dog so he can bring joy to others, as much as, he’s brought to me. I have been a physical therapist assistant for over 15 years and I am looking to focus more on my family who is getting older and the more important things in life. I’m also looking to find a new path with animals, which is why I am available daily with notice to ensure there is comfort for myself, my dog and for you and your pet as well! I have a 2 1/2 acre yard, it is not fenced so I would need to know if your dog needs to be on a leash or is trained to stay by command. My dog Oakley is four years old, trained by commands and is extremely friendly and has never had any problems with another dog. I sadly cannot take cats because he is scared of them. I am home 24/7, so I am able to be there for all their care, especially if younger and needing to be let out more often or if older and need medicine given at certain times. I have a crate if needed that could be used for small, medium or large breeds.

About: I have loved and taken care of dogs all my life. I’ve had dogs from puppies to seniors and understand how to care to all their needs. Along with that I take the time to really get to know each dog on their own and establish a connection so that each party is happy. I currently work a full time job. However I work from home so that allows me to be flexible with my time and always there to attend to the dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own to give your fur baby’s company. The dogs can free roam around the house but I’ll always make sure I can see them. If preferred to be caged that is also possible.

I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.

My husband and I work full time so weekdays are not the best for us. There is a chance we can make it work. We are available starting Friday afternoon and all day on the weekends to spend the whole day with your pup! We have a friendly dog, RIver who would love to keep your dog company. Our yard is not fenced in, but we have a long line to keep your furry friend safe. If you normally crate your dog, no problem. Bring your crate and will set up their safe area for them. I typically have a set regimen for how I care for pets if information is not provided or requests are not made. It all depends on what I’m requested for. Drop ins: take your pet outside to use the bathroom, clean up, make sure they are fed and have water and give them medication if needed. Walks: if they have a vest/coat i will put it on for them and take them around the closest neighborhood- or safest close by park. Over night stays: I always begin by making sure they use the bathroom. I will then make sure they are fed, have water and give medication if necessary. If there is an open yard that is enclosed by a fence I will play with them for at least 30-45 minutes before going in for the evening.
About: I have had many pets since I was young and enjoy caring for them. I love all animals and look forward to meeting new animal friends! Currently a full time stay at home dad / part time paramedic. I have plenty of spare time to help out anyone who needs pet care assistance.
