“Jeffrey was extremely responsive to my questions and wrote every day with updates and photos. He was patient with Papaya's anxiety, and madensure she ate, even if it meant offering her handfuls of food at a time. It's the first time we left our sweet goofy girl with someone, but it felt good to know she was in such good hands. Thank you, Jeffrey!”

“Michael and Loraine took great care of Jax, our Bichpoo. You can tell they have had dogs and are true dog lovers. Jax took to them right away, thanks to their loving manner and welcoming warmth. We’re already booked for our next trip!”

“Stephany was awesome! Very communicative, great handler, and my dog loved her. She took my Nala on big walks, let her out on a leash in the yard, and was attentive to her, sent me multiple pictures and videos, and I can tell my dog wants to go back. Not to mention, she took my booking request on a days notice and I went from requesting to drop off in less than 24 hours. Perfectly reasonable price, will definitely be rebooking in the future!!!”

“Hunter always has the best time with Cindy! She takes him to experiences and events he’s never been, and we’re so happy he gets to have enriching experiences with and without us. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Hiring Dana to dogsit Buster was the best decision. We usually board him at the vet, but wanted a change so that he would have a more social, active and fun experience. Dana was thoughtful, caring, communicative and flexible throughout the entire process (from booking to pickup). She took excellent care of Buster with specific attention to our requests. She sent us many wonderful photos of his daily activities, which included several nature and park walks. Buster had his own little vacation exploring new places while we enjoyed ours in complete peace of mind. We happily give Dana the highest praise and rating with respect to our experience with her. She is a true animal lover and a nice person.”

“Rhea is truly an exceptional sitter. This was the first time I had to board my 10-year old labradoodle, and she made both my dog and me very comfortable and happy while I was away. Rhea clearly has a talent when it comes to caring for dogs and communicating with the owner. She is loving, responsible, reliable and a great communicator. I hope that she will be able to take care of my dog again the next time I need her help. I can't imagine a better place for my dog.”

“Maria was absolutely amazing taking care of Mac. She made sure he got enough exercise and playtime while also giving him space to wind down and relax. Mac ending up being on prescription diet during the boarding and Maria followed it perfectly! I was so thankful she was able to watch him and I will definitely be booking again. I also really appreciated the updates throughout the day about the various activities she did with Mac. Additionally, her dog Cookie was super playful with Mac despite the large difference in their size. Mac truly seemed like he was having a great time which brought me piece of mind for his stay.”

“Jacqueline and Jim treated my pup and loved her like their own! As it was my 60-lb Golden Retriever’s first time at a house with a cat, I set up a meet and greet and I could tell my dog felt right at home. About: I have been assisting a family friend with cat care since I was still in high school. I was responsible for feeding, letting him in and out of the house, and (as he transitioned to more indoor oriented living) cleaning his box. I am also currently a cat feeder/sitter for my neighbor when they are out of town. Their cat is leash trained, so I am also familiar with cat walking!

“Cathy was all I could have hoped for in a caregiver for my sweet kitty. She was loving and followed my directions carefully. Philly was happy to see me when I got home, but calm and content. She had eaten her normal amount of food and Cathy sent pics of Philly playing! The pics were very reassuring. Thank you Cathy.”

“Amanda took great care of our cats. She not only reliably fed them on time, she played with them also. She clearly gave them the attention they needed, as they weren't clingy as they usually are when we got home.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Angelina! She checked in daily on our two cats and made sure they were well fed and cared for. Her updates were thoughtful and reassuring, and it was clear she genuinely enjoys working with animals. We came home to two happy cats which is a testament to the excellent care she provided. Highly recommend Angelina to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter!”

“Si yeon was so caring and patient with my 3 cats, who are all so different. She was understanding with one cat who was cautious and slow to warm up and another who is very shy and only wanted to hide. Once the cats were feeling more comfortable, she gave them lots of cuddles and play and was very communicative with us throughout. She left our litter area in perfect condition! I’ll absolutely reach out to Si yeon for our upcoming trips.”

About: It wasn't until 2012 when I rented a home with a fenced yard that I adopted my first canine companion. Prior to that time, I always lived with cats and was the friend people thought of when they needed someone to do house and pet-sitting. I sat with quite a few small dogs, as well as a giant pit bull named Miles and a sweet special needs senior lab named Boogie. In my rural home on 3 acres are two 20 pound terriers named Jack and Sadie. They do not have a fenced yard to run around in, but always get at least three good walks each day (locally, on trails, dog parks). They're extremely bonded and are good with other small dogs and cats.

“Amanda far exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond in all respects. She clearly loves animals and bonded with our Lippy and Emmy, while attending to their every need, including Lippy’s meds. Knowing things were being handled so well allowed us to fully enjoy our trip with no worries at all. She is the best!”

About: Hi! I’m Shannon, a graduate student with several years of hands-on pet care experience, including 5 months of paid dog walking and ongoing pet sitting/boarding for repeat clients. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive, and I’ll treat your pet like my own. I also have experience with senior pets, administering medication, and following routines and schedules. You can expect consistent updates and photos, dependable, on-time care, and a safe environment. I’m currently a graduate student with a generally flexible schedule. While I have some weekly commitments, I do my best to accommodate pet care needs and can often adjust my availability when needed. I’m especially available for evenings, weekends, and will have increased flexibility during the summer months! I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every pet. I ensure pets are fed, hydrated, exercised, and given plenty of attention and companionship. I also closely monitor their behavior and well-being to make sure they feel secure and cared for at all times.

“Steph is great! Both cats love her (even the shy one). Not only did she provide great care for them. She also provides good summaries with plenty of pictures. Definitely recommend Steph!”

I’m currently working part-time but I am an empty nester so I have a very flexible schedule to play and take care of your pets. I will follow the owner’s instructions on how they would like me to care for their pet while in their home and outside their home.

“Excellent sitter. Responsive and communicates well. Large backyard. Clean and safe house. Has a super sweet dog that played well with my dogs. Would book again without a second thought.”

“Jessica was absolutely wonderful with my puppy. She and her husband took the time to get to know us through a thoughtful meet‑and‑greet. Jessica then followed up with clear communication, made sure I felt completely comfortable before the booking, and ensured all details of the day were clear. Throughout the day, she sent regular updates and the cutest photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear that Jessica genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. My puppy came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well‑loved. I would absolutely book with Jessica again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and truly caring sitter.”

About: I’ve built strong bonds with dogs over the years — including a deep connection with a pit bull I cared for consistently over a year, and ongoing care for a friend’s anxious dog who takes daily medication. I’ve also dog-sat for a coworker and have a history of being the go-to person for friends’ and family’s dogs, including pets who took to me right away. I’m comfortable with medication schedules, anxious or nervous dogs, and larger breeds, and I prioritize keeping dogs on their normal routine and feeling secure while their people are away. I’m currently job searching , as a long term social worker/therapist, which gives me a flexible daily schedule with plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. I’m generally free during the day and evenings, with consistent availability throughout the week to keep your pet on their routine. I have two cats of my own — a senior cat on a twice-daily medication routine and a younger cat with a sensitive temperament — so I’m experienced with calm, low-stress environments. I’m attentive to introductions, keep a clean space, and make sure pets feel secure and comfortable. While I don’t have a private yard, there’s grass right in front of my place, a larger grassy area across my street, and a Power Line trail just across the main road for walks

“Jeffrey was extremely responsive to my questions and wrote every day with updates and photos. He was patient with Papaya's anxiety, and madensure she ate, even if it meant offering her handfuls of food at a time. As it was my 60-lb Golden Retriever’s first time at a house with a cat, I set up a meet and greet and I could tell my dog felt right at home. Jacqueline was super communicative and warm prior to and during the boarding process. I could tell by the photos that my dog was comfortable and I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come back with me! I cannot recommend Jacqueline enough and will definitely board my dog at her place again.”

“I was very nervous to use boarding at sitter’s house where I’ve never known as a first pet owner. When I met Emelie couple days ago to board at her house, my puppy was very get along with her well behaved dogs,Andy, Lily and Emelie. Also, Emelie was very welcoming us. She has lots of experiences from puppies to old dogs. She is a truly pets lover! At the day of boarding, Emelie sent lots of pictures and messages how my puppy is doing and I could know she spent lots of time and keep an eye on my baby. Emelie has very good size fenced yard, so three dogs(her Andy and Lily, my Casey) can run around and play really good. I always have had stress what I’m going to do when my family goes away short time or vacation. I didn’t want to use pet hotel or inexperienced petsitter with poor environment. I was extremely lucky to find Emelie at the last moment. I sent message to several sitters who available on that day I needed, but all of them said that they were not available on that weekend or they don’t want to sit 5months old puppy. One of sitters never responded me. Luckily, I found Emelie at the very last moment and she was willing to have sitting my baby at her house overnight. When we picked up Casey and turned engine on, Casey kept looking her house. She seemed really enjoyed with two other friends and Emelie. I strongly recommend Emelie to everyone. I would definitely go back to her.”
“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! I was fully confident in leaving Mousse with her after doing an initial meet and greet. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”
“This was an amazing stay for our boy! They sent so many photo updates we could really enjoy our trip knowing our pup was well cared for! Would love to use this family to watch our dog again❤️”
“Andrew & Jacklynn works really well as a team. Communication and response times are impeccable. They offered a meet and greet which made the handoff for drop off really easy. Our dog looked really happy in all the photos we received. When we got home he was exhausted. Highly recommend. Will be using them again when the time comes.”

“Allison and Kevin were amazing watching my dog Sunny for 5 nights! I was pretty nervous leaving her without family for the first time but they reassured me daily with plenty of updates and pictures and I was so happy they were loving on my baby while I was away. Truly great first time Rover experience and I would definitely book with them again!!”

“I can't thank Yuka and her boys enough for taking such great care of Benni!! It was very difficult to leave my Velcro dog for two weeks but it made all the difference knowing he was in good loving hands. Yuka checked in regularly and sent pictures allowing me to relax and not worry. It turns out Benni had a fun little vacation too. Yuka is such a lovely, caring, and responsible person I highly recommend her!”
