“Our dog Poncho stayed with Chonlada for a week while we were on vacation and we could not take him with us. She was very flexible and agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Poncho and her dog Tokie were similar in size, age, and activity level so they seemed to get along great. She has a large fenced property for the dogs to explore and run around. I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. Chonlada even contacted me when she noticed that Poncho was licking his paws and had a small abrasion, which she treated and monitored. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. I watch all my friends dogs while they go on vacation as well as play dates. I work from home so I can spend all day with the dog. I have a GSP so I’m used to high energy around here! I have a fenced in yard, have a crate if needed, plenty of walkable paths. Good with medications and allowing dogs to be comfortable in my home on the furniture!

About: I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking. I work from home and am here almost all of the time for boarding in my home. I am also available to provide dog walks during the week in the evenings, sometimes over lunch and on the weekends. Dogs cared for in my home will be treated as if they were my own. They are able to roam about the house and use the full fenced yard. Dogs are allowed on my bed and on the couches in the home, in addition to the many dog beds throughout. Owners can expect frequent photos and updates on their pup! About: Life long animal lover I've taken care of many different kinds of pets! I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goats, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, fish, pigs, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently working 3-4 days during the week at my main job as a Dental Assistant, as well as working a few hours every Sunday AM at a yoga studio. I am also a part time college student studying Dental Hygiene as well as on my way to becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Currently that looks like Monday/Wednesday AM I am in class from 9am-11am, Friday from 12pm-5pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm I am at my other class (which ends the first week of September 2026). I will try to update this as often as needed. I marked Fridays off for now but I can be flexible with scheduling around work and school as much as I can. I typically work Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at my main job but the hours vary as early as 7am to as late as 8pm. Sometimes I will get scheduled Wednesday when needed but it's not often. Any questions on availability or time feel free to message me! If you are flexible with schedules it helps out alot too! I also have my own pets at home which is why I currently don't offer overnights as he has separation anxiety if I'm not home at night. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.

“I have really enjoyed having Shanon coming to walk my big boy. My big boy is a rescue and is not great with new people. At 140 pounds he can be very intimidating to others. We need someone to watch our dogs for a long trip this year which will require work and time to build a relationship. Shanon is very intuitive to my dogs need to build a relationship slowly. She doesn't react to him the way most would and genuinely takes clues from him. Ive been so worried to try and have him build a relationship with someone and I dont think I could have gotten anyone better. She does rush him or force him to be near her and he is very quickly getting comfortable with her which is something I wasnt expecting to happen so soon. I can not rave enough about her natural intuition and willingness to work with us, its been a perfect fit and I know our dogs will be just fine with her for an extended period of time in a few months!”
About: I lived with animals, all my life I have three kitty cats now, and I had labradors when I was kid. My grandfather had some Dobermans when I was little and I’ve been around great Danes as well.. I have walked three huskies with my son who has high functioning autism, and is my helper with a lot of my jobs we do it together. About: I have been working with dogs and cats since 2018. I began by working at a grooming/doggy daycare center. Here I learned to watch for aggressive behavior, how to deal with aggressiveness, giving oral medicine, bathing, caring for senior dogs, helping dogs socialize, learning puppy behavior and correcting, and so on. We did a meet and greet before I left to make sure our dogs got along and sent me multiple pictures throughout me trip and updates on what they did that day! They played, did brain puzzles, ran around in the fenced in yard, and snuggled a lot!! Katie also is familiar with dogs who need medication and was able to give Jenga her medicine each morning! I have nothing but great things to say about her and my experience!!”
