About: I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs and cats. Given medications when required. Long dog walks, trips to dog parks, belly rubs, games, pup cups, a fenced in yard with sprinklers and a puppy pool during hot weather. I use the WoofTrax app to document walks send photos to owners. About: I have been working with dogs and cats since 2018. I began by working at a grooming/doggy daycare center. Here I learned to watch for aggressive behavior, how to deal with aggressiveness, giving oral medicine, bathing, caring for senior dogs, helping dogs socialize, learning puppy behavior and correcting, and so on. I loved working here because my family pet was unfortunately a victim of an aggressive groomer and I wanted to make sure that everyone knew I would not allow anything to happen to their pets if I can help it. I moved to NC where I continued to work with pets part time, mostly doing overnight stays. I have recently moved to PA and would love to continue to do this part time! I am not employed at the moment as I just moved to PA. I am looking for a pt job and looking to start school but at the moment I don’t have many things that keep me busy. Working at the grooming facility has taught me a lot about being cautious of animal behavior whether that’s from across the street or the pet in holding on a leash. During playtime we never had a big fight and have thankfully been able to stop anything from progressing into something dangerous.

About: Life long animal lover I've taken care of many different kinds of pets! I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goats, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, fish, pigs, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently working 3-4 days during the week at my main job as a Dental Assistant, as well as working a few hours every Sunday AM at a yoga studio. I am also a part time college student studying Dental Hygiene as well as on my way to becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Currently that looks like Monday/Wednesday AM I am in class from 9am-11am, Friday from 12pm-5pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm I am at my other class (which ends the first week of September 2026). I will try to update this as often as needed. I marked Fridays off for now but I can be flexible with scheduling around work and school as much as I can. I typically work Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at my main job but the hours vary as early as 7am to as late as 8pm. Sometimes I will get scheduled Wednesday when needed but it's not often. Any questions on availability or time feel free to message me! If you are flexible with schedules it helps out alot too! I also have my own pets at home which is why I currently don't offer overnights as he has separation anxiety if I'm not home at night. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.

About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. About: I have had dogs my whole life. As a teen I worked in a kennel and ran a kids obedience class. In my 20s and 30s, I fostered for a bully breed rescue. I've had everything from nine week old puppies to 13 year old dog. So the size of the age of the dog has never really made much of a difference. I'm pretty familiar with most tools for walking and training and if I'm not, I'm confident telling you so ,along with my ability it learn proper technique. I believe patience is key with any animal. I've had deaf dogs, dogs that need to be carried up and downstairs, the crazy dog that runs around and eat your socks. I believe staying calm and patient is the key to dog getting comfortable with you. I have a super flexible schedule. I'm a stay at home mom of a teenager. I scheduled personal appointments pretty well in advance giving everyone time to make sure things are covered. I currently watch a couple dogs for friends and I've had no problem dropping in on short notice or having their dogs dropped off to me with short notice. My husband and child are really dog savvy so having one randomly need to crash for the night or come over for a few hours, never really phase them. Work is one of those things where in my house everyone just understands you gotta go. In my house, we put a baby gates an extra dog crate . There's always water bowls available. I do have a large fenced in area and plenty of toys available. Out on walks everybody stays on a leash. Give them plenty of space and time to sniff around, but making sure we get some exercise. Always good to carry water for the dogs and snacks. Some dogs need more space away from everybody else when they're walking and that's OK we'll find a different walking route change things up, I feel like you know your pet better than anyone else. You'll tell me what they need and how to love them best. I believe they're all individuals and have individual needs whether be in your house ,mine or walking down the street.

She sent me SO MANY Pictures of my girl Koko while i was abroad and even took koko on car rides, hiking and swimming. I felt SO INCREDIBLY at ease leaving Koko with her newly minted Titi Coleen. “Heather is an excellent pet sitter! Our little senior dog, Miki, stayed with her for a week while we were on vacation. Heather responded to all messages very promptly and is a great communicator. She followed all instructions to the letter and kept us updated on how our little boy was doing. At one point, Miki seemed to be feeling under the weather. Heather calmly shared her concerns and we were able to talk through a solution together. When we picked Miki up, he was happy and comfortable in Heather’s home. About: My father was a dog trainer my whole childhood, exposing me to a love for all dogs! I’ve fostered and had my own dogs my entire life. I’ve had the pleasure of helping my families dogs and others. Walking, feeding, bath time, and playing are all up my alley with your fur babies. I am currently a college student at Drexel University, which can provide me with free time. On days like Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays I’m free in the morning and afternoons and nights. On weekends, I’m almost always free. I’ve always been gentle with dogs and plan to care for your dogs accordingly. I have training skills to help even with difficult puppies. Whatever you need, I am willing to help!
