She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. “Alexus was wonderful with our fur babies! We have grumpy 15 year Yorkiepoo, Dooney, that doesn’t do great with new people, but and he was fine with Alexus. She even gave Dooney his medicine. We also have a rescue Yorkie that weighs 2 pounds who needs to be coaxed to eat. Alexus let him sit on her lap and held his food dish until he was comfortable enough to eat! She’s the dog whisperer ?
