“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. Even on my work days, I will be available all morning for whichever services you need. I live in a development with a lot of space to walk dogs, I also have my own car for transportation whenever necessary. I’m very familiar with giving any kind of medication to animals, and/or feeding and walks on time.
About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. I make time for what’s important to me and that includes YOUR FURRY BABIES! I do have one part time job but I am very flexible with my availability. If you prefer me to be present at the house 24/7 I will! If you are okay with me working a shift or two while petsitting I can do that as well. All I need is communication! I will act and provide my services based on you and your pets needs. I am comfortable to give medicine, take your pets out for potty breaks any time they need, to crate them or share a bed for my stay.
About: I have fifteen years of pet sitting experience. I sat for neighbors, family and friends. I will take your dogs for walks, clean out your cats litter boxes, and feed your pets. All pets need love and extra attention when their family is gone and I will give extra scratches and accommodations to make them feel right at home. We have a toddler bed for your pup to sleep on or a king size bed to share. My home has a fenced in yard and three friendly Golden Retrievers. I have four children in the home from ages 5-11. About: My dogs have been with me for 5 years now, I’ve gone through the puppy stage with them so I understand how to care for dogs under certain circumstances. I also volunteer at the animal shelter! About: I have had and taken care of several of my own dogs in the past. I have a couple years of experience with house and dog sitting for family and close friends! Also I’m willing to take care of plants and will keep the home clean! I work a full time job between 7-4 Monday through Friday in Lancaster city. But if housesitting, I am available to take dogs on a walk in the morning and right after work! On weekends, I am typically very open. In my home: I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a large yard to run around in when I need to take a dog out for a potty break. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us.
