“This was our first boarding experience with our one year old pup Scarlett, and it went very well. While it was hard to leave our girl for a week, we knew she would be in good hands. We did a meet and greet a couple weeks earlier, and she took to Karen and Donald immediately. They were kind and professional. They have a good set up for dogs and very dedicated to their care. We brought Scarlett's crate, food, toys, and snacks- a lot of stuff, but she had her familiar comforts. She got to play in the yard frequently, befriend another pup, and have lots of cuddle time and treats. Karen and Donald were great about sending updates, and it comforted me to know Scarlett was having a good time. We would be a repeat customer for future trips. While they have their purpose, I was so happy she didn't have to go to a kennel and got to be with very nice people.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. I have no problem with jumpy, hyper, or "mouthy" pets, or any other behaviors that might be deemed "problematic". About: I grew up in a household I'm the oldest of seven children so we had we all had a cat or a dog or a both and I've been taking care of them for many years. I have taken care of cats that were were diabetic, blind, hearing impaired. Cats can be temperamental so you need to be patient. Many cats need medication , cats like a clean litter box, they don't like to step in their own feces. About: Do you ever look at your dog and think how did I get so lucky...Pups to many our like children they get all the love you have to give...Like you the time I am with them I will love and adore them...I've almost always had a dog...My beagle Shelby 15 1/2 passed away on December 20, 2022 and Dante passed away July 4th 2020, I don't have the heart to delete them he was 11 and had been with me the past 4 years since I saved him from the NYC kill shelter on his last day...I trap cats have them fixed and find them homes, some stay (10)....I am active on house sitting sites and travel for sits whenever I have free time from work (photographer)...For years I have taken care of friends cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats and Rizzo the rat... I work a lot from home only gone a few hours at a time if I do need to go out for any jobs or errands... I do have an indoor/outdoor kennel in my barn in the house I have a spare bedroom a pet can have if they need their own space also a mud room which I mostly use for kittens/cats I have trapped...

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life. I worked at a dog hotel, where I took care of almost 30 dogs at a time. I know a lot about all different ages and breeds. I’ve trained a few dogs as well! I also have bathed and trimmed nails. Animals are my passion and I would absolutely love to help make sure yours is taken care of! I’m a stay at home mom so other than a few errands here and there I’ll be home all day taking care of your pup! I have a large yard that isn’t fenced but I love taking walks rain or shine and I have a long leash to make sure the pups stay safe. I have 2 dog who absolutely loves other dogs they will make sure your dog gets exercise but if needed I’m more than comfortable making sure your pup has a quiet space I do require a crate to come with your pup. I also prefer them to be spayed or neutered but that’s on a case to case basis. My children are also really good with dogs and loves playing fetch with them

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around.
