About: I’ve been so lucky to have so many pets throughout my life — dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, a full on aquarium. I’ve always been the go-to for pet sitting, whether it was through nannying, house-sitting, or being the friend who actually likes doing it. About: I'm new to the sitter side of Rover but I've done check ins for family and friends before. I've also always had pets in the house growing up and currently I have two senior dogs so I'm familiar with older animals and even giving them oral medications if necessary. I hope to give your pets the care they need with check ins and some hangout time while they're at home! I really wanted to do something with my time that I enjoy and that's being around animals. While I'm not at home I enjoy traveling with my fiance and I love reading! I currently stay at home so for the most part I'm free daily unless we're away visiting family or I have an appointment during the week. Otherwise I have a lot of time during the day that I'm able to help with your pets. I'm used to losts of potty breaks and giving lots of attention. I take care of my senior dogs daily and as they are getting up there in age it's giving me a lot knowledge of how to take care of older dogs. I've also had to gain extra paitience for this time in their lives and I'm grateful to have that and compassion that's already been there. I've had quite the experience dealing with dogs in need. One of our dearly departed GSP "Becca” had neurological issues & needed a variety of medications. With out these, she wouldn't have had a longer life. It was a blessing to be able to help her live longer by giving her her daily medications. Mickey is our fur baby! Everyday is an adventure and we wouldn't know what to do without him. Daily meals, walks, play time, potty breaks and cuddles are our everyday events. We make sure your pet becomes part of our family pack. Special dietary needs and medications are also addressed with your pets needs. I’m retired and a stay at home doggie mom. Your pet will become part of our “pack”’ and feel right at home with our dogs. We feed twice a day (7am-ish and 5pm-ish) If you’re pet needs more specific meals and times we’re more than happy to accommodate their needs.
