I have the ability to be able to stay home with my family and my pets and care for them during the day and night making sure no one is ever alone ❤️ Currently a stay at home mom caring for my 6 year old and 2 year old twins! With being home I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your fur babies. We love adventures like playing in the fenced in yard, throwing ball and going on long walks. I currently have two Basset Hounds, ages 3 and 4, two 9-year-old pigs who are kept completely separate from the dogs, and a cat. I’m also very accustomed to accidents in the house—one of my Bassets, Polly, has them regularly—so a dog who isn’t perfectly house-trained, has occasional accidents, or needs more frequent potty breaks is absolutely not a problem. I have an XL crate if that is something they prefer. My other Basset, Hank has bad anxiety and takes daily medications so that is not a problem either. Most importantly, I know being away from their people and usual surroundings can be stressful for pets. About: I started caring for animals at age 4 when I began riding and working at a barn with 25 horses. At age 14, I began my first job at a pet grooming and boarding facility. I am down for taking pets on walks, playing with them till they wear themselves out, feeding and cleaning up after them, and anything else they might need.
About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).
