About: Cats and Dogs have filled my house ever since I could remember. I have helped care for neighbors and family members animals over the years and helped maintained their safety and health. Taking them for walks, giving them snuggles and a bath when needed. I have been around dogs of all breeds and am very comfortable with them all. Needless to say, almost every animal I’ve been around has adored me just as much as I adore them. Your pets are promised safe hands when cared by me. About: I have always loved dogs and they seem to love me too. I create a calm environment while also making sure they get the physical and mental stimulation that they need. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take regular walks with them throughout the day and very much enjoy the company. I have a fully fenced back yard and a safe, quiet neighborhood. There are two cats that keep to themselves (will stay separated from your furry friend) and two older children who love animals.

About: As an animal lover, I'd consider myself very experienced with animals of all kinds. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, and horses. Before losing him in the fall of 2023, I raised and cared for my dog, Chaps, for 12 years. It was a great 12 years, and I loved spending time training him. "Sit" and "down" are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the tricks Chaps could do. I am very comfortable with pets of all sizes. I am also comfortable taking care of most any special needs your pet may have. Tell me what you and your pet like, and I will do my best to provide an experience just the way you, and they, like it! Your pet will be safe and comfortable with me! I'm pretty flexible in how I organize my time. Walks, feedings, etc. can all be arranged with me to satisfy your expectations. About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. I work part time, around 25 hours a week so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your babies and make sure they are well taken care of. About: Ive had dogs my entire life. Ive taken care of dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments. I currently have an elderly blind chihuahua, and a corgi mix who is reactive. I recently left my job of 4 years due to lack of proper management. Im taking classes through Chemeketa but my schedule is very flexible. About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!

I have experience with puppies, senior pets, large and strong dogs. I’m comfortable handling animals that need extra patience, space, and understanding. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just keeping them company while you’re away! I own and operate my own farrier business, so I may occasionally be away for a couple of hours during the day while I’m working with horses. I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand to make sure your pet is comfortable being left alone for a few hours. If they aren’t, no worries at all! I can also schedule my farrier work around whatever your pet may need. Outside of work, I’ll have plenty of time for walks, playtime, attention, and care. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I have years of hands-on experience with animals and am comfortable with dogs, cats, horses, and small animals, including nervous or reactive pets. I’ll follow your instructions and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’ll always communicate with you if anything comes up and make sure your pet gets the same care and attention they’re used to.

My schedule is very flexible! Pets are like family so caring for your pet is a top priority for me and will make sure you are in the loop too! About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. I currently work part time and have plenty of time and energy to work with and take care of your pup. I work with my own dogs twice a day but those sessions are very flexible. I don’t currently have a fully fenced in yard, but I have access to 5 private acres I can walk your pup on a long line. I utilize martingale collars to prevent any mishaps or escaping. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.
