I grew up surrounded by animals on a Japanese maple farm with over 20 horses and lots of dogs, both indoor and working dogs, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and training backgrounds. I am a student and only have one in-person class this term, giving me lots of availability for quality time with your pup! I live in a cute, quiet neighborhood near a park and walking trail, and I usually go for walks in the mornings and a couple miles before dinner when my partner comes home from work (weather permitting). I make sure to bring water and poop bags and will always communicate if something seems off.

About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!
“My husband and I met Alisha in October for a meet and greet with Milo, our mixed yellow lab and golden retriever. The meeting was for an upcoming trip during the Christmas holidays. We instantly liked her, she was on time when she came, she was professional, she bonded right away with Milo. Soon after I booked a three day walk in November just to reconnect again with her. About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. I currently work part time and have plenty of time and energy to work with and take care of your pup. I work with my own dogs twice a day but those sessions are very flexible. I don’t currently have a fully fenced in yard, but I have access to 5 private acres I can walk your pup on a long line. I utilize martingale collars to prevent any mishaps or escaping. About: My house is a zoo. I currently have two dogs and three cats. I'm used to feeding everyone, walking them, cleaning up after them, and sharing all the love! One of my dogs is 85 pounds, and the other is 15, so I'm used to the pulling and excitement! You can trust me to provide the best care to your fur babies! I currently have a varying schedule where I either work a typical 9-5 or a 12-10. I'm available whenever needed and usually have weekdays off and some weekends. I can provide walks, baths, pets, brushes, feedings, treats, snuggles, and whatever else your fur baby needs! You let me know what you need from me and I'm happy to do it!

About: I’ve been an animal person since I can remember! From dreaming of being a vet to owning dogs, cats, horses! I have 2 dogs of my own and they get along great with other dogs! I have a pretty flexible schedule! I work from home and do school online so I am always available to let the dogs out or go for a walk! I have a huge fenced backyard and access to large fields! I also have a air conditioned home and lots of toys to play with!
About: I have grown up my entire life with all kinds of pets including cats, dogs, gerbils, fish, horses, and more and have always genuinely loved caring for animals. I especially have a soft spot for cats and dogs and I can't wait to meet your pets! When walking dogs I will be sure to take your pet on safe, engaging routes for them so they can get plenty of exercise. I will be sure to give them plenty of extra love and attention as well! I have many years of house and pet sitting experience and will take the time to follow all your specific directions. Whether its extra clean up around your home, specific pet bedtime routines, (I personally love giving my cat, Schmendrick special bedtime treats!) or anything else pertaining to excellent care for your home and pets, I am happy to provide it! I love taking pictures of animals and will take the time to send photos and frequent updates on how their doing while on our walks or while you're away. I understand and believe that all pets are family and I will absolutely treat yours as such!
