“Valerie took such great care of my two kitty boys! She was truly amazing with them and also with me - sending photos frequently along with updates. She answered my questions and special requests to make sure Izzy was peeing first day. I was able to go visit them as well. Her home is clean and neat. When we arrived to her special room for kitties for drop-off day, it was so welcoming and all set up for two cats. I felt so welcomed. I will have to replicate some of the beds and carpet she has for them, they loved them so much. There is a big, secure catio with kitty door for those cats with indoor-outdoor preferences; it has a whole wooden structure in it for them to climb or be up high or down on the ground. Valerie gave my boys lots of loves and playtime/laptime. Milo "helped" her with paperwork (ahem). She is calm and warm and loving. When I visited, they were so calm. Izzy was hesitant at first, hiding under the bed, but by day 2 he was ready to get rubs and playtime. She even plays soothing kitty t.v./music for them. I 100% recommend Valerie and her set-up. She also invited me for a meet and greet before booking. I am so grateful for Valerie taking care of my cats while I traveled and looked for a rental.”

My family has had Labrador Retrievers since before I was born, and I’ve taken an active role in caring for them since I can remember. About: Hi pups and their humans! I'm Kiana — a Registered Nurse with a big heart for animals and a lifetime of experience with dogs. I share my home with my sweet pup, Penny, who gets along great with every dog she meets. When your pup stays with me, they'll get plenty of walks, belly rubs, playtime, and potty breaks every couple of hours. I'll send regular photo updates so you're never out of the loop. I prioritize staying home during pet-sitting periods so your dog always has company and comfort. My house is spacious, pet-friendly, and close to a dog park — perfect for exercise and fresh air. I'm happy to offer virtual or in-person meet-and-greets beforehand to make sure we're a great fit. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I only work three nights a week, so I'm home with your pup most of the time. And on the nights I do work, my partner is home to step in and make sure your pup gets the best care possible. I care for pets in my apartment by making sure all safety hazards are nonexistent. I am home all day so I can ensure your pup gets frequent restroom breaks.
About: There’s nothing I love more than animals! I have had and cared for them my entire life and have years of experience walking and feeding dogs, cats, and many other animals. I am reliable and can be flexible when needed. In my free time I volunteer at Greenhill animal shelter and have lots of experience with all types of dogs and their needs. I am currently a college student and have a pretty open schedule. I am always looking for ways to help out and love surrounding myself with animals. I am a very active person and love walking, hiking, trips to the beach, or just laying around keeping them company! I have classes and work but times vary for each. About: I've cared for senior dogs as well as puppies. All are personal animals, but, I believe that's an advantage. Being familiar with animals on a personal level has made me more empathetic and gained the ability to really connect with animal's. Wonderfully! I can care for a pet multiple times a week. My current schedule is flexible and I’m happy to work with you on hours! I would prefer to care for animals in their own environment. About: I grew up with a black Labrador for 10 years and helped out with feeding him, playing with him, and walking him. Over the past year, I have boarded a cute pug on several occasions. This experience inspired me to join Rover. I absolutely love dogs and am passionate about caring for them and looking after them in the best possible way! I’m currently an elite runner who trains 2-3 hours daily, with a flexible schedule. I am excited to look after dogs and show them a good time! I have a spacious, unfenced yard in the countryside. About: I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule. Every day I care for my own household animals, and I'm more than capable of taking care of plenty more. My animals include 3 dogs of varying sizes, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Though I have plenty of experience with other animals as well. I'm happy to either host animals in my home or venture to pets in their own homes. I believe that my job in caring for a person's pets is to adhere to their wishes for their pets. I want to follow the expectations set for any individual animal. I love to lavish animals with love and affection, but that isn't the right approach for every animal and I need to respect the wishes of their humans within the scope of safety.

About: My wife and I have a combined experience of 14 years taking care of all kinds of animals. We see them as family. We were a former care coordinator for our local humane society before moving to Oregon and take looking after your family very seriously. Don't like a male in your home? No problem we'll arrange for my wife to present instead. We work together for you! After the passing of our dog we wanted to start Rover in memory of our Chewy we have 2 Cats and 1 small Senior Dog that would be isolated in our master bedroom to give your family member the space and attention they deserve!
