“We would give 10 gold stars if we could! Cassandra was the best. We loved the pics she sent. It really set our minds at ease knowing Wrecks was well taken care of. He had his own vacation while we had ours. We definitely will book Cassandra again when we need a sitter in the future. ❤️”

“Jean is amazing. So amazing that when I had to board my dog again the following weekend I went right back to her! She is not only relaxed and very accommodating but she is tentative and sends lots of fun puppy-photos and updates so you're confident your four-legged friend is happy on vacation! This is easy-breezy, choose Jean!”

“Gary and Carol were both outstanding in watching Baker for the night. We visited our son in Portland from Eastern Washington for one day to see our son and we relied on ratings to choose them. Everything people said was correct. Very responsive with communications before during and after the boarding. They sent pictures and let us know Baker was doing fine during the stay which relieved some of our anxiety not knowing anyone in the area. Bottom line, Baker had a great time with their dog Brady. We highly recommend Gary & Carol for any of your boarding needs. We will definitely contact them for our next trip to the Portland area.”

“Amie and her husband were great with Radar and he had a blast playing with the other dogs. Came home tuckered out, just like I hoped for after a long day at work. Would definitely recommend her for doggie daycare!”

“Nadine took SUCH good care of my pups! They loved their time with her. The backyard is amazing… so much room to roam. And her pets got along so well with mine. Lots of communication and photos. It was so nice to know my babies were being loved on so much while I was away. I’d definitely recommend Nadine!!!!”

“Hannah did a great job taking care of my kitty! I received many photos and videos of him having fun and getting cuddles which made me feel much better about being away.”

“Liz was great! She was so kind and easy to work with, and you can tell she really loves dogs. She has three dogs of her own, so she's definitely experienced and knows how to handle different personalities. She kept me updated throughout my dogs's stay with photos and messages, which made me feel super comfortable while I was away. I could tell my dog was in good hands and was so thankful for the peace of mind. If you're looking for a sitter who's reliable, sweet and great with dogs, I'd definitely recommend Liz!”

“We were a little hesitant to leave our Izzy, with a boarder, but he just walked right up to Diana like he had known her forever. We will definitely without a shadow of a doubt have her care for him in the future. Thank you Diana.”

“Nancy is so wonderful - a safe and loving temporary home for our very special little guy. We not only felt comfortable knowing Nancy was giving Teddy the best care, but also that they were probably both enjoying each others company while we were away. Teddy came home in one piece and was his same normal, happy self. Thank you so much for opening your home to Teddy, Nancy - we hope for more visits soon!”

“Barbara is a great awesome caregiver for my Maggie. She kept us updated every day and it seemed like Maggie probably didn’t wanna come home cause barber shows a lot of love towards animals. I would recommend her highly.”

“What an amazing individual and her little doggie, Zoe. Marybeth is super casual, interested, caring, and flexible. She understands pets and their importance. I loved her tree-lined neighborhood and the HUGE fenced backyard available for my little pupper to play. I've decided Marybeth's the one to trust with my little pup, Mia.”

“Kelsi was EXCELLENT. She very responsive with communication and loved her pictures and updates. Leaving a young pup with her felt like a lot to take on but she seemed very willing and capable! Sounds like they had a wonderful time together. I will definitely use Kelsi again in the future!”

“I know my Marvel will be treated like family by Juliann, receiving lots of love, attention and stimulation. Knowing he’s being well-cared for allows me to relax when I have to be away. That peace of mind is priceless!”

“Linda and Bobby were FANTASTIC! They kept me in the loop with what my pup was doing and feeling. This really felt like a home away from home for him. A part of me thinks he wished he could stay! We will absolutely be using them again in the future.”

“The last thing a pet parent wants is to worry about their beloved furry baby while traveling. Hayleigh provided just the right amount of love and care to Dash. I’m so grateful for sitters who truly love dogs and understand dog behaviors. Dash is by no means a problematic dog but he experienced some anxiety with another sitter that I had no choice but to switch sitters mid booking. Hayleigh was a comfort and even arranged to pick him up at previous sitter. I have no doubt she knows what she’s doing. Thank you!”

“Jayne has our go-to cat sitter for about a year now on multiple occasions. This was our first long booking for about a month’s time while we were abroad. Our cats love her and she takes every effort to make sure they are cared for and have an easy transition when we leave town. She also took care of our plants and ensured the house was in order. We appreciate her consistent updates and photos of our furrbabies. We were able to travel knowing our cats were safe and healthy. Thank you so much Jayne!”

About: I am a compassionate and dependable pet owner with over a decade of professional experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals of all ages and needs. Key Strengths - Comprehensive care: Walks, playtime, medication administration, litter maintenance, and vet and grooming appointment trip coordination. - Behavior awareness: Familiar with animal body language as well as stress reduction strategies. - Reliable and friendly communication: Timely updates with pictures and quick check-ins. - Adaptability: Experience with young animals, seniors, special diets, and pets with special needs. Pet and house sitting is a central part of my life and my full-time career. I have open availability for providing your pets with the best care and company they need. I respect both the animal’s routine and the owner’s space. I stick to their usual routines to keep everything familiar. I provide check-ins, updates, and photos during each visit, ensuring pet parents always know how their companions are doing. Cleanliness and safety are always top priorities—I make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes, indoor and outdoor areas are tidy, and pets receive the love and reassurance they deserve.
“Bobbi is fantastic! She’s great with our 3 dogs. One of them can be cantankerous and she was able to win him over no problem. We love the peace of mind we have knowing that she’ll drop in and let our pups play when we have long work days.”

“I would rebook with Kat. She took good care of our 3 kitties while we were away. She followed our overly complicated feeding instructions and sent pictures of them eating and a few of them hanging out. One of the weekend days she definitely fed them all breakfast closer to lunchtime, but I still felt like they were in good hands, and in her defense I had expressed some flexibility in their feeding time. She also went out of her way to set our cat camera back up after the cats knocked it over so we could continue spying on one of their favorite hangout spots. Cats were happy and healthy when I got back.”

About: With over two decades of animal care experience, my journey began as a child caring for our family's English Springer Spaniels and cats, where I discovered my natural affinity for animals. This early passion made me the go-to caretaker for classroom pets throughout my school years. As an adult, I've owned several dogs, including a beloved Boxer who shared 10 wonderful years with me, and currently care for two rescue dogs - a Labrador Mix and a Pit Bull Terrier Mix. Through my extensive volunteer work at a local dog shelter since 2021, I manage the daily care and cleaning for up to 25 dogs, many with complex medical needs or behavioral challenges. My professional pet sitting experience spans over three years with private clients, and I've developed expertise in handling medium to large breeds with high energy and prey drive. I'm equally comfortable caring for shy and timid smaller breeds, reactive dogs, and senior pets requiring medication. My feline experience includes managing a Maine Coon cattery of 10-20 cats, and I've cared for cats in all life stages, from newborn kittens to pregnant mothers. Beyond cats and dogs, my animal care expertise extends to reptiles, aquarium maintenance, and farm animals including chickens, goats, and horses. I've also managed large populations of show rabbits, sometimes exceeding 100 animals. I'm comfortable administering medications to all species and have extensive experience managing special needs pets. My clients receive focused, individual attention as I do not combine pet sitting assignments. I currently work full-time Monday - Friday (7 am-3 pm). I also volunteer on Sundays (7 am-11 am). I’m open to weekday availability as long as the pet owner is aware of my work and volunteer schedule. As your dedicated pet sitter, I believe in providing comprehensive care that goes beyond the basics. During my visits, your pets will receive personalized attention through engaging playtime, appropriate exercise, and mental enrichment activities tailored to their energy levels and preferences. I follow your detailed feeding instructions carefully and maintain clean food and water dishes throughout my stay. Understanding your pet's dietary needs is essential - I'll note their treat allowance and any food or environmental allergies to ensure their safety and well-being. Getting to know your pet's unique personality, quirks, and daily routines is a priority for me. I take time to understand their comfort levels, favorite activities, and any special requirements they may have. My goal is to create a stress-free environment where your pets feel secure and content in your absence. Housekeeping is equally important - I take pride in maintaining a clean environment and will ensure your home is in pristine condition upon your return. As part of my service, I'm happy to handle additional tasks such as watering indoor and outdoor plants, collecting mail, and managing trash bins. Your peace of mind is my top priority, both for your pets and your home.

About: I always shoot your animals like mine. I come to your home and make sure they’re fed watered. I make sure they’re little boxes are clean. If they need some snuggling, I’ll give them all the loving they need.

About: Two years ago I unexpectedly found myself caring for multiple litters of abandoned kittens. I spent the summer learning everything I could about kitten/cat care during each life stage. I successfully cared for and re-homed 16 of the 18 kittens, because the first two I could not let go. They are now healthy, two-year-old cats in my love and understanding of cats continues to grow every single day

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.
“Cassie is AMAZING! She takes such incredible care of our pup. He has memorized the route to her house and gets so excited every time we pull up, so we know he loves her :) she shows care to the doggos by not only having them physically exercised throughout the day but she also does training and enrichment with them too. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“The girls had a great time with Alex and his family. I loved feeling that they were well taken care of, Alex sent me text and pictures throughout the day to make me feel comfortable leaving my girls. Alex is very friendly and you can tell he loves what he does. Thank you again for taking such good care of them.”

“Kris is a gracious caregiver who accommodates all of our particular needs. He has the perfect set-up for our challenging pup who doesn't take to unknown people but loves playing with other dogs more than anything. We will be booking again!”

“This was our first time using Rover. We had an event and we connected with Melodie because of her location nearby. Melodie was very quick to respond and suggested a meet and greet prior to the day of the sitting.our little dog met her sweetie and seemed to get along right off the bat. Melody prefers small dogs, which is great for us. She has a nice set up and is very caring and we will use her again!”

“Mackenzie has been absolutely amazing with my dog! She had a rocky start on her first day but Mackenzie took the time to work with her and help her acclimate! Today was her 5th day and she is thriving! Highly recommend!!”

“Julie and Barry are an amazing team ... quickly tuning into Tashi's personality and habits. When we came to pick him up, he was so relaxed and comfortable that he greeted us at the door as if we were visitors to his home, with Barry beside him. Clearly he was treated as family.”

“Ava is an amazing host! This was Dexter's second time with her, although a much shorter stay, Dexter came back home wiped out from all of the playing. I feel very comfortable whenever Dexter's over there playing because I know he's getting love and attention! Highly recommended.”

About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsi! From day one, it was clear how genuinely caring, patient, and attentive she is with my puppy Lucy. She treats her like her own, making sure she’s safe, happy, well-exercised, and loved. I always receive great updates and photos, which gives me total peace of mind knowing Lucy is in such good hands. Her reliability, communication, and obvious love for dogs truly sets her apart. I am so grateful to have found someone I trust completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog—especially puppies!”

“Annie is growing so fast and her manners are improving thanks to Sarah. Annie can't wait to get out of the car when we get there and that says everything to me. Thank you Sarah!!”

“Regina took excellent care of our little guy, Enzo, who cannot be left alone. She also handled some complicated logistics of handoffs between dog sitters, like a pro; communicative, prompt, detail oriented. What a savior. Thank you, Regina!”

“Awesome experience! Susie was super quick to respond and very flexible with my timing. She sent pictures with updates and kept me informed while I was gone. My dog was happy and tired when I picked him up after the day.”

Just informational, I do live with males, including teens, who have attended dog training classes and help when I need to step out if the house. “Hire Frank! They are awesome. Kind and responsible. I felt very safe with having them walk my malamute who is sweet but can be a handful sometimes. Definitely recommend.”

“Amir did an amazing job taking care of our dog Yoshi! I knew right away from the meet and greet that he was going to be a great fit. He has a very calm energy and it was the perfect vibe for our Shiba. he was very communicative throughout the time we were out of town which put us at ease. 10/10 I would have Amir take care Yoshi again.”

“Hannah is fantastic. Low-key loves and her loves her. Excuse me one thing though Loki is an English cream golden retriever. I’m not sure whether it was pilot error on my part when I put in what type of doggie is or not, but if it can be changed. It should be changed to an English cream, golden retriever”

About: *In the Summer if you want me to Pet Sit for you, be willing to accommodate my Husky. He is well trained, tears up nothing, is completely potty trained, gets along with dogs and cats. He may look scary at first but grows on you quick, once you learn he won't hurt you. He has helped me teach other dogs who don't like new dogs how to befriend a stranger. He can easily stay in a room separate from your pets, even a bathroom, he isn't picky, he just likes A/C. I never leave him alone with pets, even if they get along. He enjoys walking with other dogs and makes a great playmate.* Hello I go by Bo, and I'm Your Friendly Neighborhood Dog Whisperer! That's YFNHDW on IG for videos of my walks and Sittings. I have been doing this for 3 years now, mostly on Wag but I'm looking to use mostly Rover now after Wag changed ownership. I have been ranked Top Pet Caregiver for most of my 3 years on Wag, and I'm a Certified Training Provider for Wag as well. I have over 300 (5 Star Reviews) on Wag alone, and many references from my own personal clients as well. I have done close to 20 Sittings now, most of them repeat clients. *Old Profile Post if you care to read it* I'm only 33 so not quite Cesar Millan yet, but I'm getting there and have always been a natural with animals...it's as if I can feel their thoughts:-) I grew up with Cats + Dogs, but as an adult I raised a Red Nose Pitbull from 9 Weeks to 3 Years old all on my own, never neutered him and still he was great with all dogs and humans. I had actually trained him to be my Service Dog. I have been a Wag Walker for 3 going on 4 weeks now, and have already been ranked Top Caregiver and in High Demand...with 37 (5 Star Reviews) so far! (Update: Over 100 Walks and 3 Sittings as of 12/28/24) From Camas to Lake Oswego and Aurora, I have been in some wealthy homes all alone, so I can assure you I'm as Trustworthy as they come :-) Google says Wag is more for Walking and Rover is more for Sitting, so that's why I'm here too now. I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a House and start Boarding. (Update: I just got a room in a house in West Linn, I may be able to Board in the near future). P.S. I wear a Body Cam at all times for everyone's safety. I'm a Full-Time Walker/Trainer already, I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a house and start Boarding as well :-) Fur Babies won't be left alone longer than 4 hours, 2 hours if requested. I wear a Body Cam at all times for everyone's safety, but I have also already been in many wealthy homes all alone; from Camas, West Linn and Lake Oswego to Aurora. I assure you I'm as Honest and Trustworthy as they come. As far as taking care of your Fur Babies, I will treat them like my own...but with even more caution because I'm responsible for someone else's lol.

We give your pets lots of snuggles. We aim to follow and maintain the normal, expected routines of the pets we care for. We give them lots of attention and send pics to their owners.
About: My primary reason for dog sitting is simply because I love spending time with animals. I just moved back to the area and am looking forward to continuing working with Rover and making some new 4-legged friends:) Dogs that I am sitting can spend their days lounging around with me, playing in the yard, going for walks, swimming in the pool, running around in the Orchard.and other fun outings when appropriate. I know that every dog is different and has different physical and emotional needs. I will make sure they're getting their individual doggie needs met as well as shower them with plenty of love and attention while you are away. I have extensive experience working with senior dogs and catering to their every need all the way through end of life services. I also have a lot of experience training puppies and preparing them with the basic skills to live a happy life. I have been around animals my whole life as well as raised an amazing 13 year Goldendoodle. Also, I spent 2 years working with Paws To Freedom assisting in Service Dog Training. In addition, my love for animals as lead me to volunteering at local shelters and fostering when needed. I have plenty of experience with a variety of animals and have taken cared for dozens of dogs while owners were away. Most importantly though, I have a genuine love and respect for animals emotional and physical wellbeing:) My schedule is very flexible and I am pretty much home full-time most days of the week. I can easily accommodate advanced scheduling and can sometimes accommodate last minute as well. This is however, very part-time for me so my schedule may fill up quickly at times. I can also arrange for pick up and drop off in Clackamas if that is easier. In my home pets are part of the family. They get treated with the love and respect just like any other member of the household.

About: I worked at a vet clinic for 3.5 years but due to life changes I now work at a pet store and petsit to continue to work with animals while I work towards my goal of working in vet med again. I’m reliable with my own transportation and am very knowledgeable in proper pet care. I am communicative, compassionate, and attentive to animals and their needs. I have been my own friends’ and family’s pet sitter for the past 5 years and I treat every animal as if they were my own while in my care. My whole life revolves around animals; I have 4 cats of my own and have fostered 15 animals successfully in the past year, ranging from cats of all ages, dogs, and Guinea pigs. I also work directly with animals at my job and am looking to continue that path. I have multiple rooms in my home to separate the animals in my care if needed, I have access to professional services if an emergency were to arise while also having knowledge of what to look for in with different medical conditions that can be present in animals. I have a good understanding of animal behavior and I understand their needs.

“We would give 10 gold stars if we could! Cassandra was the best. We loved the pics she sent. It really set our minds at ease knowing Wrecks was well taken care of. He had his own vacation while we had ours. We definitely will book Cassandra again when we need a sitter in the future. ❤️”

“Bonnie has cared for our two dogs several times and they always come back tired and happy! She was a lifesaver during our last stay with flexibility and kindness as our dates shifted around and we are super grateful.”

“Veronica is very sweet. She was very nice to my dog. Her 2 dogs are very friendly and seems like my dog had a great time at Veronica’s house. I will ask her again. I do strongly recommend her to all dog owners.”

“Perla had a great time with lots of play! Elizabeth has a nice big home with lots of room to run around both inside and out. Her dog Lilo and Perla got along really well. We'll definitely be a repeat customer.”

“10/10; can't wait to book again. Dominique was super responsive, and provided a bunch video and photo updates each day. I could tell my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for.”

“I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog with Amanda and Jaime. Amanda was very communicative and friendly. I appreciated the daily updates and photos. It was clear my dog was very well cared for. They were also extremely helpful with accommodating a last minute request! I will certainly continue boarding with them in the future.”

“Sarah was GREAT! We can’t say enough about the environment she has set up for the animals in her care. It’s all about the little things, and Sarah made sure Ollie was happy and fit in. You know the stay was great when your dog doesn’t want to go home!”

Thank you!”
