About: TLDR - I have experience with many types of pets with varying needs. I have two kids (ages 12 and 14) and many other creatures in the home. I am available for drops ins and walks, but longer term engagements would have to be at my home. I have a fully fenced yard and can welcome a dog to come stay in my home. I have previous obedience training experience and have taken three dogs to state for obedience competition. I have house trained many puppies, so I'm happy to support an owner in the trenches of the puppy years. I am available for weekend visits and walks every day. Over the years, I have cared for dogs and cats with varying medical and behavioral needs. From cats needing injections to highly reactive dogs neesing a calm presence, I have expertly cared for them all. I have two daughters, aged 12 and 14, who have lived their life around pets of all sorts and love to come with me when I am visiting a dog or cat. If you are not comfortable having them in your home, or your pet is not comfortable with kids, that is totally understandable. I am self-employed, so my schedule is flexible to allow to fit pet care into my schedule. I have a car so I am able to travel outside of my immediate neighborhood for pet care or house sitting. In my own home I have a fully fenced yard and space to run around. When I am out of the home I kennel my own dog, who has anxiety and that helps her feel more secure. My family and friends alike all relied on me for pet sitting care which included regular dog walking and extended, overnight stays. I'm currently not working and only going to school. I do not charge my constant care rate solely because a pet is a puppy or has medical needs, as puppies already have a higher rate and medical needs are often outside of an owner’s control. If your pet’s care requirements significantly limit my ability to accept other bookings or require me to remain with them for the majority of the day, we can discuss whether a constant care rate is appropriate. I also live with another experienced Rover sitter. If an unexpected scheduling conflict ever arises, they are available to let pets outside for a potty break or provide a quick check-in when appropriate. The requested dates are reserved exclusively for your pet(s), allowing me to remain with them throughout the duration of the stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space and routine with the same respect I’d want for my own. I follow all instructions carefully; whether that’s feeding schedules, walking routines, crate time, or medication needs, so your pet stays comfortable and consistent in their environment. I’m also happy to continue any training or reinforcement you’ve already been working on, whether it’s basic commands, crate manners, or specific behavior routines. Consistency is key, and I always strive to keep your pet’s progress moving forward while you’re away. I aim to keep your pet’s day as normal and stress-free as possible, offering them love, play, and structure. I also provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands. I’m tidy, responsible, and always make sure your home is just as you left it, or better. Your pet’s well-being, safety, and happiness are my top priorities.
About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs!
