About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently this past January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). I am a student but that’s part time so I still have plenty of time to spend with the pets I have an apartment with a small yard. I feed, bathe, walk, and play with pets staying in my home. They’re aloud on furniture or wherever they’re comfortable. In others’ home, I would care for the pets just as I would in my home unless instructed to do otherwise. Feed, play, cuddle, walk.
