“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. I work 8-5p M-F but work from home 3 days a week and have availability to walk early mornings, evenings, and during my lunch breaks! My weekends are typically very free and are usually filled with park visits and walks! I treat other dogs just like they are my own, and my girl is treated like an absolute queen! I make sure doors are securely closed, that anything potentially harmful is stored away, and always take weather into consideration when walking (if it’s over 80 degrees out, I will provide boots to ensure that pups don’t get their paws burned!) I make sure to bring water and poop bags and will always communicate if something seems off.

We cannot watch cats in our home, but are happy to do drop in visits in your home to play with and care for them. We do accept dogs in our home for care. We have a fenced in backyard for lots of playtime, and fields and parks nearby for longer walks and play. We currently have two cats, so your dog must do well with cats to stay in our home. We can also do daily or multi daily check ins on pets in your home (sorry, no housesitting/staying over in your home). About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Much more familiar with big working dogs with high drive like huskies, German shepherds, and cattle dogs. But I love taking care of them all! The current fluff ball in my house (housemates pup) is my first time regularly looking after a smaller dog but she’s kinda a big dog in a little body as she loves getting out for walks and trail runs just as my as my shepherd did. Taking care of them has always been something I loved to do, through that love that grew I found a job at a dog daycare and worked there for a while until I moved and I absolutely loved it. It gave me a lot of hands on experience with hundreds of different dogs, big and small, easy and hard. No dog is too challenging with the right kind of love and attention! I currently work full time during the week so I would be available for weekends after 10 and before 4! I have a lot going on during the weekdays so weekend work best for me! Making sure I always have a tight grip on the leash and also making sure the dog is comfortable with me are two really big things when walking dogs, and what’s most important to me. Along with that they are having fun!!

About: I have grown up always having pets and each one of them impacted my life greatly! I also started pet sitting for my neighbors at a young age and have continued pet sitting ever since. I have hands on experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, temperaments, and needs. I am also comfortable caring for multiple pets at once. Additionally, the past two years I lived with someone with a dog and watched him for her frequently when she was traveling. “We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home.
