About: I have had dogs my whole life and each one has had a huge piece of my heart. I will treat your dog like they are a part of my family while they are in my care. I am home most of the time. I typically feed around 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, and this can be adjusted to meet your dogs needs. I do have crates if needed. I also have a large size doggie door that leads into a fenced back yard. I close up the house by 9:00pm after we have had the last potty break for the night. I have a cat, so your dog must be cat friendly. I also have a large male dog that is sweet and gets along with other dogs. Dogs are allowed on my furniture. They can either sleep in a crate, or sleep on their own bed, in my bedroom with me and my dog. I offer a daily walk in my neighborhood, weather permitting. Your dog will be the only dog I host. I only host one family at a time so that I can give your dog and my dog the best experience. Your furry family member will feel happy, safe and secure in my home. “It's kind of a big deal to leave your pet with a stranger. I am so happy to report that I now have a trusted person to give love to my dog when I have to go away for work. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. I missed my pup so Anika even texted pictures over the weekend when she took him for walks. I will happily use Anika again the next time I need day or night care for Baron! Definitely recommend.”

Making sure to get to their level and accommodate them in any way I can. I currently have one doggie, one cat, and a fish. They are all super sweet. I train my dog often at home and the public parks. “Review is for cat boarding. That sounds like a sport but you get the idea - my cats stayed with Kaelin, who had generous availability on short term notice. 2 cats, 6 nights, 0 problems. Kaelin is an absolute gem. Pre-stay she held a call to learn the specific needs of my cats and throughout their stay she picked up on components of their personalities I didn't even think to share. One of my girls is considerably shyer than the other, but Kaelin made consistent and ultimately successful efforts to engage each cat in a manner comfortable for them. Her patience calmed my shyer cat and her energy and thoughtfulness invigorated my more excitable/curious cat - she picked up on beneficial ways to interact with each of them that could not have been covered alone by what I shared with her pre-stay. Kaelin is clearly someone who has a profound understanding of and deep appreciation for animals, and she takes seriously how much they mean to us, her customers. Kaelin paid incredible attention to detail, was able to tailor every aspect of their stay in ways beyond what I requested, and she provided consistent updates with photos and videos of the two, often focusing on activities she intuited that I would be wondering about (How is shy Summer utilizing the space and responding to interaction? How is playful Autumn being allowed to explore and see outside? etc.). Through the way she was engaging with my girls and seeing how they, in turn, responded to her, it is so clear that Kaelin approaches her work with immense passion and care. It put me at ease throughout my entire trip, and it was clearly an excellent experience for my girls as well. Cannot recommend highly enough, will absolutely be a return customer.”
“Kristina was wonderful! She kept us apprised of how everyone was doing daily which was great. But most importantly, the cats were happy with her. She was able to medicate those on meds the first day - which for a bunch of indoor/outdoor cats and someone they don’t really know is amazing. We also had to make some last minute changes in our plans (because ice) and she was completely fine with that. We also loved that she had experience with chickens and exotic birds as we may be adding those to our family. We very much hope to work with her again.”

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. About: We had a family dog from the time I was a toddler. The first dog was a Doberman, then the next family dog was a Springer Spaniel. My family also volunteered as puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and we raised 5 guide dog puppies. One flunked out of guide dog school and came back to live with us until she was 13. Later, I volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and helped puppy raisers with their new puppies, and weekly helped teach the classes from 12 weeks when the puppies first arrive to their puppy raiser homes, up to 18 months when they leave their puppy raisers the puppies get trained before they go back in for their formal under harness training for their blind person. All 9 years of work there we used positive reinforcement with the dogs and helped the puppy raisers. I also attended some classes with Guiding Eyes on dog body language. I also have my own rescue dog who I adopted during that time and he has had positive reinforcement training since I adopted him. I now assist owners with training or behavioral needs they may have for their dogs to make the owners and the dogs happier and more peaceful living. I also have added a list of other services, from boarding in my home, to house sitting in yours, dog walking, drop in visits, or daycare in my house. I am working from home and available basically all the time, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and over weekends as well. Days: M, T, W, T, F, S, S I don’t have kids or cats. Just me and my one 10 year old personal dog are in the house. I live in a condo and don’t have a backyard, but I have always walked my dog in the neighborhood and gone to hike at Lake Chabot which is only a 12 minute drive or at Oakland hills parks.

I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. Baths for the pups are no problem, too! I am free twice a day at minimum for daily drops ins with optional extended bonding and play time, as well as weekend house sitting where your fur baby will be attended to for the remainder of the night! 🐾🐈🫶🏼 I use a baby gate as a “keep-out” tool if needed to be utilized in a specific area of your home. While at my house they will be allowed on furniture and my bed for extra cuddle time. They will be given plenty of walks and playtime!

If needed, I can also swing by during my lunch break if it’s not too far out of town :) I currently am not in a home that could provide boarding, however I plan to take on the roles that you provide to your pets to make them feel safe in their home.
About: I have had dogs my whole life as well as cats and a few other random buddies. I currently own 3 dogs and 3 cats so I know they need love and attention many times a day just like a kid, and I will treat them like I treat my own loved ones. I currently do gig work full time and thus have a fully open schedule. I am able and willing to be there for your animals and house needs at any given hour. I am not currently offering care in my own home as I do not have the capacity of a correct home to take care of your loved ones since I already have my own friends in mine.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and each one has had a huge piece of my heart. I will treat your dog like they are a part of my family while they are in my care. I am home most of the time. I typically feed around 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, and this can be adjusted to meet your dogs needs. I do have crates if needed. I also have a large size doggie door that leads into a fenced back yard. I close up the house by 9:00pm after we have had the last potty break for the night. I have a cat, so your dog must be cat friendly. I also have a large male dog that is sweet and gets along with other dogs. Dogs are allowed on my furniture. They can either sleep in a crate, or sleep on their own bed, in my bedroom with me and my dog. I offer a daily walk in my neighborhood, weather permitting. Your dog will be the only dog I host. I only host one family at a time so that I can give your dog and my dog the best experience. Your furry family member will feel happy, safe and secure in my home. “It's kind of a big deal to leave your pet with a stranger. I am so happy to report that I now have a trusted person to give love to my dog when I have to go away for work. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. I missed my pup so Anika even texted pictures over the weekend when she took him for walks. I will happily use Anika again the next time I need day or night care for Baron! Definitely recommend.”

About: My name is Sophia! I am 27 and I have been around animals most of my life. I always try to understand any animal and pet. Making sure to get to their level and accommodate them in any way I can. I currently have one doggie, one cat, and a fish. They are all super sweet. I train my dog often at home and the public parks. She loves cats and other doggies. My cat keeps to herself and she will often follow us on walks with our doggie. We take walks daily around the neighborhood. I have a boyfriend who works later shifts, so pets won't be alone until 10am. We have a fenced back yard with a doggie door. My cat and dog let themselves out when they need to. My dog is kennel trained and usually is in her kennel when no one is home, but we leave her out when we aren't gone long. I make sure everyone has water in the morning and evening. We walk our dog around the neighborhood twice daily. One in the morning and one in the evening. I have fenced backyard. I have a doggie door for pets to come in and out. I can also close it off to control access outside. I always leash my dog when going on walks.

About: My background in animal care extends well beyond traditional pet sitting. I completed extensive veterinary technology education while working full-time in a large, multi-department veterinary hospital, gaining years of hands-on experience with animals ranging from healthy puppies and routine-care patients to senior, hospitalized, post-op, and medically complex dogs. My subsequent transition into “human” healthcare has further strengthened the attention to detail and standard of care that I bring to every animal entrusted to me. My veterinary experience provided a comprehensive foundation in safe animal handling, canine behavior/temperament recognition, medication administration, medical-condition awareness, post-op care, and the identification of subtle changes that may indicate pain, anxiety, or physical distress. I am comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and overall presentation that may warrant closer observation or communication with a pet-parent. I am comfortable caring for dogs across all ages, sizes, and levels of need, including puppies, senior dogs, animals requiring additional behavioral consideration, and pets with established medical or mobility needs. My experience includes oral and injectable medication administration, incision and wound care, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, and incontinence-related care. Whether providing a walk, drop-in visit, extended sitting, or boarding, I approach pet care with the same principles that have guided my professional healthcare experience: attentive observation, appropriate precautions, consistency, clear communication, and respect for individualized care requirements. Any known limitations to my availability will always be communicated in advance, and with clear communication regarding your pet’s schedule and needs, I am currently able to accommodate a wide range of scheduling requests. Safety and attentive supervision are priorities in our home. Between my husband and me, our dogs are never left home without one of us present, and I maintain that same standard of supervision for pets entrusted to my care. I would not leave a pet unattended while I am responsible for their care. We have a fully fenced backyard and maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered home and outdoor environment. With a five-month-old puppy of our own, our home is consistently kept pet-safe, with unsafe or inappropriate items secured and inaccessible. I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain the same standard of supervision, respect for their environment, and attention to safety.
About: I’ve always taken care of my own animals and also a lot of family and family friends animals. I’ve honestly never met an animal that didn’t like me. I’m a really fast learner, I also run my own small cleaning business if that’s something you want to discuss don’t be afraid to ask. Im currently working an overnight shift Wednesday-Sunday 9pm -5:30 am so during the day I’m always free this will be changing starting the end of June and I’m always willing to work things out if our days don’t align My dog at home is walked numerous times throughout the day because I live in an apartment but I’m super flexible and willing to follow whatever schedule you have set up.
