About: Hello! I'm Mattea and I'm 24 years old. I've grown up with dogs of various breeds including Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Bully mixes, and Olde English Bulldogge Pitbull mixes. These are just dogs I've owned (or currently do, I have 3 bully mixes and a lab x rottie mix between me and my family) I've worked with various other breeds since I was basically old enough to be able to, including breeds from small to large sizes. (Such as Toy Poodles, Jack Russell Terriors, Komondors/Hungarian Sheepdogs, English Setters, Chihuahua mixes, Australian Shepherds, Dachshunds, Great Danes, and more!) I've been told by people I'm kind of an animal whisper. I also have grown up with cats and currently have three! I've dog sat a 120lb Labrador, who was quite moody, starting when I was age 10. Along with a pitbull mix sibling he had then with strict restrictions on their interactions. I've also worked with dog reactive dogs, and very skittish dogs. I also enjoy grooming and have brushed a Samoyed who I was told usually didn't like getting brushed, but she was perfect for me and even laid and fell asleep while just letting me brush her. Overall I just love animals of all kinds and would love to be able to work with them! I currently have a decently open schedule to be able to walk and pet sit dogs and cats. I would love to take on several pups to walk or pet sit. I am happy to follow any guidelines the owner has with drop-ins to allow their dogs or cats to feel the most comfortable and satisfied with their care. I will not be taking any clients who are wanting boarding. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats, so just not an ideal situation to bring in a boarding pet.

About: I love dogs and I can handle any size: big or small or anywhere in between. I went through a dog obedience training with my dog who was a fox terrier. As well as took the Rover training course and I think I did very well on it. I can do long walks and short walks, in the city or in the country, morning or evening on most days. I did have to pick up a full time job, so I'm available weekends, with weekdays on a as needed basis. So I'll need all information before booking. I've always enjoy working with and watching animals. My home is currently not an environment that I'm comfortable bringing your pet into. I have roommates and not a completely fenced yard. I'm more than willing to spend time with and work around your animals comfort. I have found keeping to what they are used to makes for a happier furry family member.

“We hired Gloria to take care of our cat, BJ, for a month. Because we were going to be away longer than she could stay, we had to hire someone else to cat-sit at the end of Gloria's stay. As this person had never cat-sat for us before, Gloria went above and beyond expectations by training the new caregiver and allowing the new caregiver to contact her if she had questions. In fact, at one point, when it sounded like there was a serious concern about our cat, Gloria even contacted us! So, essentially, she stayed "on duty" even though she was "off duty!" About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old, my senior girl I’ve had since then is 18 yrs old and still going strong! I have two big Great Pyrenees/ Saint Bernard mixes and we take them on walks regularly. I work a nine to five and am free on weekends, so I hang out and take care of my pets in the evenings when I get off work. I don’t currently live at home with my pets so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like because I’m in school. My dogs live with my parents and we have a fenced in yard and a space in our house just for the dogs. I live by myself though if your dog isn’t comfortable around other animals!

I recently retired early and have time to spend at home with animals. Lots of land for exercise and all pets stay inside with me.
