“I boarded my dog Hamilton for the first time with Emily and he did so well! He came home happy and exhausted and I’m so grateful. I was nervous as he is a very shy boy and I felt like he was in really good hands! Would highly recommend!”

“Erin and her family are fantastic with our senior dog and energetic cat. Our 14-year old lab loves going to Erin's, and we get peace of mind that he's cared for when we are away. The proof for us is his demeanor when we pick him up: cheerful and excited, even on "bad" days due to his health.”
“Cynthia was absolutely amazing with Eddie! She was very communicative and made me feel very at ease with the drop off and pick ups. I recommend her for boarding and I'll be booking again I'm the future!”

“Trinity was wonderful. April and I plan on using her again. I almost hesitate to write a review so I can keep her to myself. I received updates and pictures and Trinity was always available to iron out logistics because I wasn’t able to drop April off or pick her up and had a friend do so for me. April stayed for 5 days at Trinity’s house and came back with a fresh wash even. I was even told April didn’t seem to want to leave when my friend picked her up. I am very grateful to Trinity and I know April looks forward to hanging out again.”

“Brandi was amazing! Our dogs stayed with her for a week and were very well taken care of. She kept us updated with pictures and a check in each day. In every picture, our dogs looked so happy! Brandi handled our dog’s medication and their little quirks with ease. Drop off and pick up were easy. She really went above and beyond!”

“I booked with Ashleigh last second & I was so lucky that she had availability. My dog had such a great stay with her. Ashleigh’s dogs are so adorable & well-behaved and Bandit had a ton of fun with them. Ashleigh’s communication was also great :)”

About: I have trained my dogs for the last 10 years, I have bathed and clipped my dog and cats nails for 10 years, friends and family have relied on me to watch, walk, feed and bathe their pets for over 20 years. I currently am a stay at home mom which allows me to pay more attention to animals in my care. I currently take my dog to the dog park multiple times a week along with walks daily to help keep her active and healthy. Adding your fur friend will be an added bonus for us. I do not have a fenced yard so I prefer to watch them in my clients house, this also helps with the stress the pet may feel with being with a stranger.
“Robert was great with my dogs. They had a nice place to sleep and play. I think they thought they were on vacation. He was very thoughtful about making the dogs feel at home. Will definitely bring them back again!”

“Todd was exceptional in taking care of our Ava! He made sure she was comfortable in his home prior to the booking and answered any questions we had promptly. He is very communicative as well and provided us plenty of pictures and updates while we were away. We're very thankful for Todd and would recommend him to anyone seeking pet-boarding services.”

“We’re so grateful to have found Mary and Randy to care for our pup over a long holiday trip. They will definitely now be our go-to sitters — they’ve set up their home and land to perfectly accommodate dogs, and were such warm and caring people. We received many fun photos and videos showing our dog having a blast, and we know he’s just as eager to stay with Mary and Randy again.”
“Tanaisa had great communication and sent lots of photo updates, so we knew how our pup was doing while we were away! She was also understanding as I learned how to use Rover. Thanks Tanaisa!”

“Kelly and her family are amazing! I truly believe they made our dogs part of their family even if it was just for the weekend. She meet with me prior to our dogs stay to meet them and ensure they would be comfortable staying in her home. “Veronica was very communicative and sent me consistent updates/pictures of my kitties while I was out of the country. She even went as far as getting a new bag of litter before I returned to save me the effort since the litter was low. She also gave my spicy cat the space he required and all the pets/loves on my more social cat. I will definitely book Veronica again in the future.”

“Kris was amazing in taking care of my cats while we were gone! I can’t say how much i appreciate that they’re loved and cared for when we aren’t there. 10/10 definitely recommend, and will use next time we’re away!”

These are just dogs I've owned (or currently do, I have 3 bully mixes and a lab x rottie mix between me and my family) I've worked with various other breeds since I was basically old enough to be able to, including breeds from small to large sizes. (Such as Toy Poodles, Jack Russell Terriors, Komondors/Hungarian Sheepdogs, English Setters, Chihuahua mixes, Australian Shepherds, Dachshunds, Great Danes, and more!) I've been told by people I'm kind of an animal whisper. I also have grown up with cats and currently have three! I've dog sat a 120lb Labrador, who was quite moody, starting when I was age 10. Along with a pitbull mix sibling he had then with strict restrictions on their interactions. I've also worked with dog reactive dogs, and very skittish dogs. I also enjoy grooming and have brushed a Samoyed who I was told usually didn't like getting brushed, but she was perfect for me and even laid and fell asleep while just letting me brush her. Overall I just love animals of all kinds and would love to be able to work with them! I currently have a decently open schedule to be able to walk and pet sit dogs and cats. I would love to take on several pups to walk or pet sit. I am happy to follow any guidelines the owner has with drop-ins to allow their dogs or cats to feel the most comfortable and satisfied with their care. I will not be taking any clients who are wanting boarding. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats, so just not an ideal situation to bring in a boarding pet.

“Breezey did an amazing job watching my two cats while I was out of town for ten days. She was communicative and gave great updates. I was a little anxious after experiences I had with pet sitters in the past, but I had absolutely no worries or issues this. ☺️”

“Rebecca has done such an excellent job with our cat Frank. I will definitely use her services again. I can tell when I meet good people and Rebecca is just that! Thanks again Rebecca!”

“Angel was a perfect pet walker! Great communication too. I was traveling to Lincoln City from California with my 6 month old puppy. Since the hotel didn't allow the pups to be left in the room at all, it was great to have someone lined up during my vacation to care for her while I visited places that didn't allow dogs (Indoor seating restaurants and the casino). I'll will use her service again next time I'm in town.”

About: I’ve owned many cats and have also been a trusted friend caring for other people’s cats while they’re away. I understand their unique personalities and needs, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving attention if they enjoy it. I’m gentle, patient, and will follow their routine closely so your cat stays happy and stress-free while you’re away.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since elementary school. Training horses and dogs has been my passion. Understanding dogs instincts and pack language helps me better serve their unique needs and personalities. My 35 years of animal care encompasses dog sitting, training, flying cross country on cabin with pup, breeding, and rearing physically and emotionally solid pups. I’ve ventured with my 4-legged buddies on hikes, walks, beach trips, long car drives, hotel stays, retirement homes, schools, river floats, horse rides, ranch work, and river walks. Living in the beautiful PNW there’s always fun to have with our pooches! I’m a work at home mom with four children and a beautiful tribe of animal, loving people. Kids and animals have routines to thrive. There’s always someone home to be with the dogs so no fur babe left behind on our watch. We go places the dogs can ride with us. Exploring the logging roads and nature walks are everyone’s favorite. Fenced yard and doggo doors allow for in and out as they please while at home. Routine starts with breakfast. Then it’s playtime with the kids while farm chores take place. If your dog eats 3x a day we’ll do lunch, more playtime, rest time since this is equally as important. Mental stimulation to stay sharp means using snuffle rugs, treat dispensers, hand feeding meals while reinforcing manners and obedience. My kids have a schedule and boundaries as do the animals giving everyone peace of mind.
About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors, freinds and family pets since I was 10 and it’s the best job in the world. Community Pet Babysitter. I am currently enrolled in college and work part time so I have plenty of time to be your adorable and furry babies best friend. :) I have a turtle and a hamster so your pet will have my full attention and I will follow your instructions and be the best care taker for your lil/big guy.

“I gave Claire a very involved, complicated assignment with multiple types of critters to care for and she did a great job. She handled some unexpected complications very well and with plenty of good communication. I'll be asking her back!”

“Mikki was absolutely great! She took the time to have a few meet ups with our puppy to make sure everyone got along well, and she had the patience of a saint for dealing with a puppy with all her quirks. We will definitely be reaching out and booking again for future sitting needs.”

About: Military Veteran | Lifelong Animal Lover Hello! My name is Kortni, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since the age of 8, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals—from horses and livestock to dogs, cats, and even fish. My experience comes from both personal ownership and working alongside professional trainers, always with the goal of providing well-rounded, compassionate care. During my time in the military, I was fortunate to have a few incredible opportunities to work with military working dogs—an experience that deepened my respect for animal intelligence, discipline, and emotional needs. Now that I’ve recently transitioned out of the military, I’m taking time to reconnect with the things I love most: animals, nature, and a slower pace of life. That also means I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to your pet’s unique needs—whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, playtime, or sticking to a specific routine. This is my passion, and what I do for work. I currently have an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd at home who’s the biggest spoiled lap dog you’ll ever meet. I understand how much our pets mean to us, and I treat every animal in my care like one of my own—with love, patience, and attention to detail. Special diet? Specific routine? Just let me know—I’m happy to accommodate. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

“I highly recommend Annie if you are looking for pet daycare. From the moment my wife and I met Annie we knew that Whimsy would be well taken care. We went to an amusement park for the day and Annie kept us up to speed on status and was very flexible with drop off and pick up times. When we are back in the area we will most definitely use her services again.”

“Trinity is very kind, gentle and responsible. She took great care of my puppy. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave a pet with her. She seems like a really great person who will go far and do well.”

“I can’t thank Cynthia enough for the exceptional care she took of our pups on very short notice. Great communication and updates, and they had a blast. I highly recommend working with her!”

“So grateful, I was able to find Marissa on such short notice! Went fishing on the Columbia but did not want to have a toddler and a dog on the river. It was also hot, and didn’t want my dog to overheat. With Marissa only being 8 minutes from the Elochoman Slough Marina and her experience with dogs made it perfect! My dog really enjoyed her time and was all smiles when we arrived. I’m glad to have found a future sitter for future fishing trips.”

“Our dogs were safe and sound during their stay. Rebecca and Mike were wonderful and loving care providers for our three Lhasa Apsos. We highly recommend this caring family for dog day care drop in visits. Thank you so much for your hospitality.”

About: I've had all kinds of animals my entire life, and now working on teaching the importance of responsibility and love for our four-legged fur friends to my own little boy! Looking for a way to connect with my community and help with those who need their fur babies! I work part time at a coffee shop and have to be home early mornings and late afternoon for my son but am flexible! With proper communication, I can make what works best for your pup, work for me too! Mid-day check ins and walks are usually great, but don't be afraid to reach out and share what you're needing! About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life—caring for them isn’t just second nature, it’s something I truly love. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I’ve spent years helping out neighbors by watching their pets while they were away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or simply being a calm and comforting presence, I bring attentiveness and compassion to every pet I care for. Recently, my husband and I welcomed a rescue dog, Grim, into our family through Oregon Dog Rescue. He is the goofiest, sweetest boy and has been an incredible addition to our home. Grim gets along exceptionally well with other dogs and people, and we have never once had an incident with him. He is well-behaved, trained, and truly enjoys the company of other pets. Having a dog who is so gentle, social, and adaptable allows me to confidently provide a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for any pets in my care. What sets me apart is my deep emotional connection to animals, my reliability, and my ability to pick up on each pet’s unique needs. I don’t just watch your pet—I make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I am currently going to school full time at WSU completely online. Other than that, I am not working right now so this gives me the opportunity to have a lot of free time! I can complete my school work from anywhere with my laptop. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and creating a safe, loving space for them is something I take seriously. I live on 10 acres of private property, giving your dog plenty of room to explore in a peaceful, secure environment. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I care for each dog as if they were my own—offering calm companionship, routine, and individualized attention. I can easily accommodate crate-trained pups or provide a cozy space for rest, and I always follow your preferences to ensure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away.

About: I am an experienced caregiver of pets. In my family is Otis the dog, cats Earl and Sarah, a Galah Cockatoo named Warren and Henry and Marty McFly the budgies. Otis gets along with both dogs and cats and loves to have a buddy to romp with in the yard. I have met some of the most wonderful caregivers here on Rover who helped when I’ve needed to go out of town and would love to help other pet parents when they need to be away for a time. I will provide photos and keep you updated for your peace of mind. I work part-time night shift. My schedule varies but I have lots of availability for feathered and furry friends. Please feel free to check with me about your pet care needs. I have a fenced yard and can provide supervised outdoor playtime or cuddling on the couch. Our dog Otis loves company and to have playmates visit. He gets along really well with other dogs and with cats.

“Rebecca was great! I asked for her help with dog walking since I work at home I don’t have all the time to dedicate. Not only did she walk them but she also work with my dogs on some training. I felt like she really knew what she was doing. She gave me a lot of photos and videos so I felt super secure about what happened during the walk. She also provided me with an update on how to walk went.”

Kelly sent me pictures throughout our dogs stay which showed me our dogs were being well taken care of and loved. Our dogs loved playing with their puppy and were exhausted when they got home. I will definitely be using Kelly for future Rover stays.”
