About: We love animals! We have a big yard, but we’re usually home with our pets. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them, while still being adaptable to less friendly dogs who want space. I am generally home during the day, and extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. The pets we watch at home often feel like a part of our family! I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.
