“I cannot rave enough about Sandy! Not only was she very communicative before I booked her, but she kept me in the loop the whole time I was away from my Baxter. She was so great with him and the whole process was just really easy. I even extended my time another night because I felt so confident he was in good hands, so I left him there so I could run around Portland by myself for one extra day. I will definitely be using Sandy again next time I return!”

“Taylor and Liv were the best when it came to taking care of Atlas! They were very attentive, detail oriented, and made sure to update me daily on how Atlas was doing. They took him on plenty of walks and gave him lots of cuddles. I will absolutely be using them again in in the near future.”

“Kristopher was so kind, conscientious and meticulous with the care of our beloved babes! He sent great photos of them having a blast with him. 10/10 for sure, and we will be calling him again when we need pet care. So grateful! Thank you, Kristopher! :D”

“The last thing a pet parent wants is to worry about their beloved furry baby while traveling. Hayleigh provided just the right amount of love and care to Dash. I’m so grateful for sitters who truly love dogs and understand dog behaviors. Dash is by no means a problematic dog but he experienced some anxiety with another sitter that I had no choice but to switch sitters mid booking. Hayleigh was a comfort and even arranged to pick him up at previous sitter. I have no doubt she knows what she’s doing. Thank you!”

“Noemi is awesome! She watched my super shy rat terrier buddy for two nights and was absolutely wonderful. She was so thoughtful with him, and it was clear she really cared about making him feel safe and comfortable. “What an amazing individual and her little doggie, Zoe. Marybeth is super casual, interested, caring, and flexible. She understands pets and their importance. I loved her tree-lined neighborhood and the HUGE fenced backyard available for my little pupper to play. I've decided Marybeth's the one to trust with my little pup, Mia.”

It is a pleasure to talk with him and receiving his daily photo is so entertaining. I look forward to it and the chuckle it brings.”

“Anna is amazing. She took care of my cat Fei for half month. Fei loves her so much. She writes notes in detail about what she did and took photos each time and actively communicated with me (even when I was not able to reply immediately, she left me a note). I really appreciate it.”

“I’m very thankful Meagan took on a last minute request to watch me and my neighbors cats while we were both out of town! She was very kind and respectful of both our homes. She was able to help administer a nightly pill for my cat as well. Thank you so much Meagan!”

My love and I were a bit nervous leaving our cat with someone new for the first time but Karly made sure that our girl was loved and cared for during our long week trip. Thank you for being the best, Karly!!”

“Susan was a wonderful pet sitter for our cat while we were away! She gave us updates and photos each time she visited, and we could tell that our cat enjoyed spending time with her. I’m so grateful for her reliability and kindness, and I would absolutely book with her again! 12/10!”

“Allen has been the best caretaker for my Mini-Aussie, Mikka! We had a very thorough meet-and-greet for all questions and to meet his beautiful pup, Kaya. Mikka has spent the day with them 2 times now while I go to work and Mikka is now "a regular" every week. She has developed few anxiety issues during the pandemic and can be a bit reactive around other dogs, so I've been very hesitant about doggy day care in any other capacity, but Allen has listened to my concerns and been extremely careful with keeping an eye on her or introducing her to any other dog he's watching or who is using the magical little private gated dog park behind his house. He's been super helpful in correcting some of her behavior issues (like a very loud persistent bark that has made me crazy!), sends photos and updates frequently, and is very quick to communicate even in between stays. I'm so relieved my anxious dog is getting playtime and has such good care that I can trust every Tuesday, and she's making new dog friends finally. Thank you, Allen!”

“While we were on a road trip and in Portland just for the day, Lyle watched our dog so we could go to OMSI and Powell’s, etc. We booked last minute and Lyle even helped us with directions to his place. Our dog was happy when we picked him up, but also had a ton of energy so I’m not sure if he got much exercise while there. But I’m glad he had a place to wait and potty breaks.”

“Serena is great! I love that whenever I leave Theo in her care, I know he’s going to get nice and tired playing with Nugget, and I appreciate the updates I get throughout the day. 10/10 definitely recommend and we will keep coming to Serena!”

“Emily did a great job watching our 9 month old lab, Bruno, for the day while we had out of town guests. She is so calm, friendly and professional, I knew he would be in good hands. There was one other playful dog staying with her and Bruno had a great time, while Emily's 11 year old Lab, Lola, sweetly watched over the proceedings. Bruno came home tired and happy, and we got to enjoy a day out with visiting friends. I would highly recommend Emily, she is great!”

“Christopher was great! He was easy to communicate with and gave Change lots of great walks and burned out a lot of his energy. Would definitely recommend and book with him again when in Portland.”

“Dakota had such a great day with Tommy. From planning to drop off, during the stay and pick up, Tommy was incredibly communicative and clearly has a way with dogs. Would highly recommend. My pup loved him!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Currently, I live with two of my own pets—a friendly and social labradoodle named Café and a sweet, independent black cat. Through caring for them, I’ve developed a strong routine that includes natural feeding, regular grooming, daily dental care, and lots of physical and mental stimulation. I walk Kafae several times a day, and we enjoy outdoor adventures like hikes, beach trips, and visits to local parks and dog-friendly spaces like Sandy River Delta. I cook his meals using natural, whole ingredients and keep up with monthly grooming, as well as daily ear and teeth cleaning. Beyond my own pets, I’ve provided pet care for friends, family, and neighbors—offering everything from overnight stays to drop-in visits and daily walks. I’m confident managing different temperaments, administering medication (oral/topical), and adjusting to special dietary or behavioral needs. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and respect I give my own. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal—and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is always to make both you and your pet feel safe, understood, and cared for. Tips are much appreciated. I donate 10% of my income from each stay to support animals at the Oregon Humane Society. Pet care is a natural and essential part of my everyday life. I care for my own labradoodle, Café, and black cat every single day, so my routine is already built around providing consistent, loving, and attentive care. Each day includes multiple walks, feeding nutritious meals (I cook Café’s food using whole, natural ingredients), daily grooming habits like teeth and ear cleaning, and plenty of playtime and affection. I also make time for regular outings—whether it’s the beach, the Sunday River Delta, hiking trails, or the dog park—so staying active and keeping pets engaged is part of my lifestyle, not an add-on. When I’m caring for other pets, I simply fold them into this rhythm and adapt to their needs and preferences. I enjoy the structure and joy pets bring into my day, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to ensure each pet gets the attention, care, and love they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment with plenty of attention and structure. Pets stay in a calm, pet-friendly space with my own friendly labradoodle, Café, and a quiet, respectful black cat. I follow each pet’s specific feeding, exercise, and medication schedule, and I include them in our daily routine—morning and evening walks, playtime, naps, and enrichment activities like fetch, hikes, or beach trips. I also provide daily updates and photos for peace of mind. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their regular routine as closely as possible. I respect your space, keep it clean, and make sure your pet feels safe and secure in their familiar environment. I’m attentive to details—feeding, walking, administering medications, and making sure they get plenty of love and companionship. I keep communication open with daily updates, and I’m happy to handle extras like mail, light tidying, or plant care if needed. Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, I bring patience, consistency, and genuine care to every visit.
“Sheung is a very trustworthy and kind person! Mochi was under great care. He went on an amazing walk under the cherry blossoms, he played outdoors and was no doubt a very happy dog when we picked him up. She’s also located very close to an enclosed dog park so that’s a bonus. Sheung is Number One!”

“Catherine has been amazing with our little one and we couldn’t be happier with the services she provides. She’s quick to respond and provides updates throughout the day. We have used her for doggie daycare that has been both short (3h) and long (13h) and have already booked future stays with her.”

“Kristopher was great! My five year old lab is high energy and not for everyone and he was happy to take her for a very long day for me. When I picked her up she was happy and tired. Plan on using Kristopher again!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. As a child I grew up raising hunting dogs. In my early teens I raised a Seeing eye dog, which included many training sessions. After that I bred A couple generations of Golden Retrievers. While living in Montana I worked with several breeds ranging from Komondors to Poodles and Bichon Frises. In the last 10 years I have been caring for smaller abused breeds. I cared for a senior abused long haired Chihuahua and now have a little Puggle named Ozzy he is my JOY! I took an early retirement, so I have plenty of time during the day or night to care for your furbaby. I will treat them like my own. I live in a apartment in Slabtown. Plenty of places to walk and parks are close by. Nice neighborhood with lots of trees and other dogs
“Our dogs always come home happy and calm from their play day at Angelica and Tyler's. They can't wait to get to their house so all our doggy dates are a win for everyone :-)”

“Naomi was great. My puppy was over excited when he arrived but Naomi kept her cool and helped him to calm down and get along with the other pups. Definitely 5 stars.”

“Sequoia took great care of my 1 year old Great Pyrenees puppy, providing good communication. My pup came home happy and tired from playing with her canine pals. Will book again!”

“I am so grateful to have found Damon to care for my girl Fiona. She is almost 14, blind, and diabetic, so I was nervous when my schedule changed and I was needing to find a daycare solution for her. I feel so comfortable dropping her off with him. I know that she will be well taken care of and he will quickly communicate any concerns.”

“Christopher is a great dog walker. He is very considerate and always gives us a heads up before coming in the house to get our dog (in case we’re there). He took our dog Aggie on really nice long walks.”

About: Growing up I always had animals, especially dogs and cats! I absolutely adored each and every one. I love animals of all sizes, and treat mine like my children. I will give your baby all the attention, snuggles, and love they want. I have many years of experience in caring for dogs and cats, and would love to spoil and care for yours just as I do mine! :) I work through out the week so during that time I have limited availability but I am flexible for drop-in’s most evenings and early mornings. I am completely available Friday through Sunday. I will keep a close eye on your baby and make sure to the best of my ability they’re safe at all times! If you have a certain schedule or routine for your babe I am happy to keep them on that as well. For boarding, I don’t have a yard at my apartment but have easy access to trails/parks for walks and frequent potty breaks!
“Kai took great care of my 2 dogs! Took them on a nice long walk, and made sure they had everything they needed. Also, he was able to book on very short notice! Would definitely book another walk with Kai for next time.”

“I don't have enough good things to say about Colby!! He walks my dog for me and just goes above and beyond for her. I've never used a dog walker before and was nervous to try it out and Colby just made the whole process so smooth and reassuring for me. He has excellent communication and sends cute photo updates. It's everything to me to know my baby is in good hands!”

About: I grew up in a home surrounded by a variety of pets, taking on the role of primary caregiver even as a child. This experience has provided me with valuable skills in caring for my own pets as well as those of friends. Over the past three years, I have turned my love for pet-sitting into a rewarding side job. Since I currently don’t have any pets of my own, my time spent with your pets becomes even more special. I work-from-home with a very flexible schedule! During the week, I’m all about taking your pup on epic walks or having cozy cuddle sessions with your kitty. Plus, many of my weekends are a pet party waiting to happen! My home is ideally designed for pet sitting. It features a clean and tidy environment with plenty of cozy spots for pets to relax. Additionally, large windows allow animals to gaze outside, and I am conveniently located near parks and green areas for enjoyable walks. I am also available to provide pet sitting services in your home if that is your preference.
About: I have a dog with seizures and I understand how much care is needed to care for him. I will treat your dog(s) with that same care and significance. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.

About: I've loved animals ever since I was a small kid. I grew up raising 3 rats, 3 cats, and a Great Pyrenees. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs, as well as taking care of hamsters and cats while their owners were on vacation. I currently have no pets due to my building's rules, so I'd take any excuse to help take care of a fluffy creature. Currently working a reduced amount with most of it being from home, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Free/flexible most hours, besides evening on the weekends(and even then, I could potentially work something out with enough time). I enjoy long walks and exercise, and love playing with animals, so I'm your guy if your dog needs a long walk or an hour of nothing but fetch. I grew up walking a stubborn 100+ lb. dog, so I know how to control them if they get a little too excited sometimes.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors for many years. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, and following detailed instructions to keep pets happy and safe. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I provide plenty of updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is being well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m available for drop-in visits and walks most afternoons, evenings, and most weekends. I make it a priority to be dependable, communicate clearly, and provide pets with the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and household rules. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure and take the time to help pets feel comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I have a 4 year old excitable spaniel of my own who certainly keeps my life exciting! I have always lived with dogs and can’t imagine it any other way. But I also love cats! Nearly all my friends have cats and I have lots of experience pet-sitting for many of them. I love spending time around animals and would love to take care of yours! I have a full-time 8-5 job, but do have flexibility within my week. I wfh at least one day a week - sometimes more. Evenings and weekends are usually super open for me! But feel free to reach out about availability as my schedule fluctuates often. I have a small fenced yard with space for your pup to potty and run. I also have a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I have a crate that can be used if your pup likes a place to settle. My furniture is my dogs furniture and it would be the same for your furry friend too! I also have an animal loving roommate - so double the love.
About: I was blessed to grow along my childhood pets: an elderly little King Charles spaniel, the sweetest yellow lab, and two feisty yet loving seal point siamese cats. They taught me so much - respecting boundaries, fulfilling one’s responsibility, and the importance of mutual unconditional love. Since then, I’ve had two rats of my own and have experience pet sitting and boarding pets for multiple days as well as consistent dog walking visits. Now that I’m away from my cat, I’m hoping to find more furry (or scaly!) friends to care for! I am currently a full time college student with a flexible routine and a car. While I am in class during much of the day, I have many breaks and am happy to get of campus! Pet care in a clients home revolves heavily on what the owner prefers. I am happy to follow a strict schedule or complex meals if it's explained to me in advance but just as content finding out what your pet likes to do on my own.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was little. I’ve had experience doing jobs dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, cat sitting, and cat boarding since I was 12. I love animals and animals tend to love me too! I am currently stay-at-home, looking for a remote job so I can continue looking after my pets and hopefully yours. I am flexible and available on weekends. I have occasional trips home to see my family, but other than that I don’t travel that much. Every pet has its own personality and my care tends to match that, as well as the pets needs. One of the dogs I used to walk loved having a chance to sprint in circles over and over. I tailored her walks to go to a nearby, dog-friendly, fenced in park so she could get out all her wiggles before we walked back home.
About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently this past January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). I am kind, caring, uniquely experienced, energetic and reliable. I currently am only working/unavailable late Saturday and Sunday nights, and am extremely active during the week. I have plenty of free time in general. I am respectful to how you’d like your dog to be taken care of in your home and out and about, and also have my own set of everything (leashes, crate, toys, beds, etc) if need be.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and even have my own fur baby of my own. We love animals and making new friends! I am currently working a remote flex job so I am able to choose my hours and prioritize pet care to ensure I’m able to give your pet what they need! I have my own dog, and we usually go out for walks around my neighborhood and visit the PSU campus and park blocks to allow my pup to be in more greenery! I also have a grass block that is right next door to my apartment so I am easily able to take the pets potty!

“I was so lucky to find Dillon to be our dog walker while I was taking care of the family dog. He is very experienced which was a huge help especially since Bogey (the dog) is a large pitbull. He was able to give me pointers which made my walks go much smoother as well. Dillon always responds to communications in a timely manner and he's a friendly and understanding person! I could tell he really loves dogs, and they love him. Should I need dog walking again I will not hesitate to reach out.”

About: Apart from growing up with my own dog, I have been walking and taking care of dogs since it was my first “job” in high school! I now have 5 years of experience & am looking for some part time dog walking/care gigs! Located in NW Portland so ideally looking for jobs in surrounding area but open to further areas! I work full time M-F but have flexible breaks to do mid day walks during those days! Outside of that - full availability on weekends! I don’t offer boarding in my own home at this time but am happy to come to you and care for you dog in their space!
About: Hi! My name is Sessy! I’m currently an MSW graduate student at Portland State who wants to care for your furry friend(s)! I’ve had many dogs and cats my entire life and have been very involved in raising them. Additionally, I used to walk dogs, catsit, and housesit for my neighbors for years! Some things you can expect when you book me are a lot of patience and love for your fuzzy buddies, photo and text updates, and lots of extra attention and playtime! At the moment, I'm free for the summer and available to give all my time to your fuzzy buddies! I start school on September 26th, and my schedule availability will change. However, until then I'm here at your beck and call for whatever your pet care needs may be! Unfortunately, as I have a small apartment with a partner and 2 cats already, I am unable to host any pets at this time, sorry!
“Kat was AMAZING. I was out of the country for three weeks and had a small army of people to come check on all my pets while I was gone. Kat came over daily to walk my two dogs and they absolutely adored her. Would hire again!”

“Zach communicated and our dog enjoyed his time. It was a longer stay than usual and we felt our Doug was well taken care of and lived while we were gone. Would recommend him to others. He truly cares about the dogs under his care”

Thank you!”

“Ida had a blast boarding with Dahlia. She was lovingly cared for and made new friends along the way! I felt very confident leaving my fur baby in good hands while away. Thank you, Dahlia! 🐾❤️✨”

“Brittany was so great with my doggo. She kept me updated on how she was doing and pictures. My pup came home happy (I think even a little sad to leave Brittany!) which really is so nice to know your anxious baby is in such good hands while you're gone!”

“Jake’s the best! He is always super flexible with drop off/pick up times, and takes good care of our pup, Laika. She loves her stay every time, so much so that she is always excited to see Jake at drop off. He is great about sending updates and pictures as well. Thank you, Jake!!”

“Ron was very helpful taking my young energetic pup on pretty short notice for a long weekend! He was patient with her and definitely gave her some good outlets for play with other dogs because she was totally tired out when I picked her up.”

“Had a great experience with Dan. Great communication and daily updates (not expected or requested, but was very nice). Lola was still recovering from being spayed and Dan made sure everything was going well and tended to. We'll be using his services in the future.”

“Veronica was great! Our dog Perla is 1 year old and very active and playful. She was kept busy with Veronicas two dogs for 12 days, which Perla seem to enjoy very much. Veronica is very knowledgeable about dogs and very patient. She kept us informed with pictures and videos. We will definitely use Veronica again.”

“Allen really knows what he is doing when it comes to the care of your pet! My pup bishop had ample space to run, plenty of dogs to socialize with, and I even got a few helpful tips from Allen to boot! 10/10, will recommend every time! ^_^”

“Tammy was ideal as a caregiver for our elderly cockapoo. She provided reassurance with her communication and we were confident that our dog was receiving loving attention at all times. Thank you Tammy for being so wonderful with Milo!”

“Kathy provided excellent care for our dog during a weeklong stay. He has some special needs, and she went above and beyond to accommodate him. Kathy was very responsive and sent lots of updates, photos, and videos. We have great peace of mind when our dog is with Kathy and her family. We appreciate you!”

About: I have had animals my whole life growing up many dogs and cats. I currently have 3 animals 1 cat and 2 dogs.Previously before doing this I was a manager and a Petco dog trainer before going separate ways. I'm available for full days on Monday -wednesday I work others day but my partner is stay at home and helps with my bookings currently. I tend to ask that the regular routine is and stick that as much as possible. I absolutely love all animals and like to do what they need as they need.
“Abigail and her family were great hosts for my dog Baxter. She is very quick to respond, gives detailed updates, and sends pictures. Would recommend for sure!”
“Amanda is amazing. She sent me several pictures of Lilly. When Lil was being picky about eating she even made her sone food. I have used Amanda in the past and already have another trip planned for June. I would AND HAVE recommended Amanda for pet sitting. Thank you Amanda, Jamie and your Lil kiddo for taking excellent care of my Lilly”
