“Cecilia and family took great care of my babe over a long weekend while I was out of town. She sent pictures and updates ensuring me she was having a wonderful time sunbathing and getting lots of cuddles. She has a back yard and took Helena outdoors to keep her fit and healthy. Cecilia is responsive and allowed me to be flexible given I was flying. I would recommend Cecilia for your pup's boarding anytime!”

“Tessa and her family were absolutely wonderful. They sent me updates consistently throughout my entire trip. They spoiled my pup, took him on walks, let him play in the pool, and overall treated him like he was their own. I can’t recommend them enough.”

“Highly recommend Corynne and Matthew! They watched our 2 dogs while we were out of the country for 11 days. They did great with both of them, which are completely different in their needs: one a very energetic 2 year old heeler mix and the other a 16 year old lab mix. They administered meds for our senior also. Our dogs had such a great time, they didn’t want to leave. Will be booking again - thanks!”

“Old man Guinness was safe, comfortable, and happy with basically his second mom Journey while we were away on vacation. Thank you for treating him to gourmet Lickimats, sniffaris, and AC! Guinness will see you again soon; until then, be well!”

“Lindsey and her husband were excellent communicators and took great care of my fur baby ( senior dog) for 12 days. I appreciate how accommodating they were especially as my trip was at the peak of the line and flight issues at airports.”

“Friendly and reliable! My very energetic golden had a great time with Josh and his pups while I was out of town. Also was available even when asked last minute. Highly recommend!”

“Teresa took such great care of my mature dog while we were away for a weekend. She sent updates and pics of the fun they were having together - her love for animals is obvious. I highly recommend her for boarding or any other care you may need for your pet.”

“Lauren was excellent! She has a true passion for animals, which becomes immediately apparent from the first time you meet her. She treated Harper with the same love and care that her own animals get. She walks the dogs frequently and far, so they get plenty of exercise time. Her dog poppy is very laid back and gets along great with other dogs, even when ours doesn’t at first. She was great with sending pictures and keeping us updated on their daily walks and lounge time. If you want peace of mind that your pet is safe and having a lot of fun, look no further for a sitter!”

“Dylan and his fam were great! Oakley came home happy and relaxed. We felt she was well cared for and we received frequent pics and updates on doggy activities.”

“This was a repeat booking and Skyla did a great job again. She looked after our patio plants in addition to caring for our three cats. One of our cats is dealing with recurring pancreatitis and bowel issues, so he has detailed feeding instructions and we need to know if he's continuing to eat regularly and has regular bowel movements. Skyla handled keeping track of all of this very well, and communicates well too.”

“Emily's cat-sitting services exceeded my expectations. At the meet and greet she asked for vet info in case of an emergency and asked about my cat's health so she could monitor for any issues. She was extremely warm, kind, and compassionate. She deeply cared for my cat and texted while she was here to let me know how the check-in was going and ask questions. We are thrilled to recommend Emily to others and looking forward to having her as our long-term sitter. Thank you Emily for your impeccable service and care!”

“Tina did drop-in visits with our 2 cats while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She did a good job keeping up with them and I appreciated her prompt communication working through an issue with the cats’ feeder that came up while we were gone. Would use her again and would recommend her service.”
“I did enjoy Randi services. Based on her observation, I will definitely check with the vets regarding Audi eating grass. Overall, she is good in taking care of our dog and not only that she kept the dog place clean.”

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and taken care of clients cats. I have administered medication to elder cats, responsible for cleaning the cat litter and playing with them. I have raised 3 kitties at 3 weeks old because the momma passed away. I bottle fed them and gave them round the clock care and they lived long, luxurious lives.

“This was my first time ever using the Rover app and getting a pet sitter for my 3 cats. I was very nervous about leaving the cats at home during our 4 day trip since it would’ve been their first time being alone for a long period of time. However, Kristine was very good with the cats and very reassuring! She followed the instructions I had left, made sure the cats had what they needed, played with them and snuggled them! Of course, she sent photos of the cats during her daily visits and a detailed description of what was done that day. Which was amazing for easing my anxiety about leaving my pets at home. I definitely recommend Kristine for watching your fur babies and I will totally reach out to her when needed in the future! Thanks Again!”

About: I’ve owned my own kitty since 2010 and previously her brother who was special needs. I also have fostered kittens and nursed them back to health we found on our property until a rescue took them in.

“Shelby was incredible! I have a shy cat and two rats. I was definitely nervous to leave them for 5 days, but Shelby had great communication the entire time. I received a bunch of photos and videos of them as well! The in-depth details from every stay were really appreciated. I truly recommend her and will absolutely use her in the future :)”

“We're so happy to have found Jessica and are thankful to finally have a WONDERFUL pet sitter ?!! She was attentive to our pets medical needs and communicated with us regularly. I appreciated the extra attention she gave our elderly cat who didn't always want to take his meds or eat his food. She sent funny texts and we had pics daily. We'll definitely have Jessica watch our pets whenever we go out of town!!”

About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. Whether your dog (aka family member) wants snuggles, a cozy nap spot, playtime with my dog, or a little quiet space to themselves, I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently in between jobs, which means I’m home full‑time and able to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day/night. My home is relaxed, warm, and set up for dogs to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I keep things safe, clean, and low‑stress, and I follow each dog’s natural rhythm — whether that’s playtime, naps, snuggles, or simply hanging out nearby. I share my home with my young male mix‑breed dog (born 12/6/24), a poodle/wire‑haired terrier mix who’s neutered, well‑behaved, and absolutely loves meeting new dog friends. He’s gentle, social, and always happy to have a buddy around, but I also make sure every visiting dog has space and downtime whenever they want it.
“Sending Chase for the 1st time to a dog care is a little bit exciting and little worried for us thinking if how he will behave. But our experience with Joel& Crystal we can say is a great experience, Playing and meeting with new friends. Easy to communicate with them with pictures and update, feeling ease when our away.. Thanks Joel&Crystal, will surely book with you again nextime..”

“Annie had a great day with Joshua, Jennifer and company! She made friends with new humans, dogs and cats, and I managed to catch up on several things at home. Annie will go back again next week. I feel quite secure about her care there and she was happy and relaxed when I picked her up.”

“Michelly was kind, welcoming, and flexible. Lavinia had a wonderful time with her and the other pups, and we will definitely be signing up with Michelly any other time we need a daycare date!”

“Denise did a great job! Biscuit was happy when we picked her up. She took Biscuit for walks and recorded them. Biscuit was comfortable enough to take a nap. I also appreciate the good day care price. We will use her again.”

“His second visit, Guinness seemed comfortable with the space and with Journey, leaning up against her for pets. This was so reassuring to see! Journey played with him, brushed him, and gave him a delicious lickimat. We will be back again!”

“Valarie is the best very accommodating. She clearly loves what she’s doing in the dogs that she cares for. I would recommend her to anybody. And will use her every time I’m in Eugene.”

“Thanks so much for a wonderful day experience for our 6th month old puppy! We received several photo updates throughout the day. Our pup had a wonderful time with excellent people. Jennifer and Josh are genuinely nice people who love dogs and make it their business to provide excellent care. Peace of mind is a big deal when it comes to a beloved pet and they deliver 110 percent. They have a beautiful property for playing and even took my dog on a walk. My dog came home happy and relaxed. They even sent us a video update! Thank you guys so much!!!”

“Claire was patient and kind with our younger rescue dog, Quince, who can get stressed in new environments. Our senior dog, Duncan, seemed to do great. We appreciated the pictures of their day and were happy they were comfortable enough to settle in for a snooze. Their home seemed warm and inviting with plenty of comfy spaces to cuddle up. Claire had some good insight for future visits, and we hope to be able to have our boys in her care in the near future.”

“Cassie was a wonderful host for my pup! Mahogany got along with Tilly like an old friend, and Cassie sent me pictures, videos, and updates consistently throughout the day. Their house is basically across the street from one of Hog’s favorite dog parks and he got to spend a bunch of time there! He was happy and tired after a day full of adventure! Highly recommended!”

About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. Now, I’m excited to offer my experience and dedication to the local community. I’m Fear Free Certified for dogs, and while I’m not certified for cats or other animals, I apply many of the same principles across species: 🧘♀️ Creating low-stress environments 🐾 Respecting boundaries and body language 🛏️ Offering comfort, routine, and enrichment 🐕🦺 Using gentle handling and positive reinforcement In 2024, I worked with shelter animals at Greenhill Humane Society, where I received extensive behavioral training and advanced to independently care for dogs and support enrichment for cats. That experience helped me develop a deep understanding of animal behavior, stress signals, and how to build trust with pets from all backgrounds. What I offer: 🐶🐱 Drop-in visits, walks, feeding, litter care & medication support 🧶 Enrichment activities tailored to your pet’s personality 📸 Daily updates with photos and notes 🐾 Experience with seniors, shy pets, and those with special needs Whether your pet is playful, reserved, or somewhere in between, I bring calm energy, reliable care, and a genuine love for animals to every visit. Thank you for considering me — as someone who has also used Rover for my own pets, I know it can be daunting to find the perfect fit for your furbabies. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or extended overnight care, I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. Because I’m home-based, I can offer: 🐕 Timely potty breaks and walks 🐈 Calm, low-stress drop-ins for cats and small pets 🐾 Flexible scheduling for last-minute requests Whether your pet needs a quick check-in or more involved care, I’m able to integrate it seamlessly into my day, ensuring they get the attention and comfort they deserve. I currently do not offer in-home boarding, but I provide personalized care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it's a quick drop-in, a longer visit, or multiple check-ins throughout the day, I tailor each session to your pet’s routine and emotional needs. Because I work from home, my schedule is flexible—I can accommodate midday visits, early mornings, or evening care depending on your pet’s habits. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress experience by respecting their space, reading their body language, and offering enrichment that suits their personality. Your pet gets: 🐾 Familiar surroundings and routines 🧘♀️ Low-stress care with gentle handling 🐕 Walks, playtime, feeding & medication support 📸 Updates so you stay connected I treat every visit as a chance to build trust and make your pet’s day better. Whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra patience, I’m here to meet them where they are.
“Mari and Steve provided a wonderful experience from beginning to end. They took extra care to make our dog and us feel at ease, communication was quick, and our dog left daycare happy and well loved!”

She sent us plenty of updates and photos to put us at ease. We were very happy with our sitter experience with Kari and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter who has older dog experience. 15 out of 10.”

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, a snake, and even a chinchilla throughout my life, so I’ve truly never known life without being surrounded by animals. I’m a huge animal lover, and caring for them has always come naturally to me, whether they’re my own or belong to family and friends. I have roughly 10+ years of non-professional experience and 3 years of professional experience caring for pets, including pet sitting and working with animals of different personalities and needs. A lot of the photos on my profile are actually with pets I’ve cared for, pet sat, or even strays I’ve come across and helped. I also love the outdoors and hiking, so if your pet enjoys being active or going on little adventures, I’m more than happy to bring them along in a safe and fun way. At the same time, my current pets are total couch potatoes who love to relax and lounge around, so I’m just as comfortable matching that calm, low energy vibe. Whether your pet is playful or prefers to take it easy, I’m attentive and focused on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and caring for them. I currently live with my roommate’s 2 year old cat, so I’m used to daily care and attention. I also will be helping care for a new dog starting later this year, which I’m really excited about. I’m flexible and able to plan my schedule around pet care needs, whether that’s daily visits, walks, or spending extended time with your pets. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets are well taken care of while you’re away. I currently live in an apartment and keep a clean, calm, and pet safe space. That being said, I’ll be moving into a townhome with more space at the end of August. No matter the space, I’m attentive, patient, and committed to creating a secure and loving environment for every pet I care for.

About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. I have a special fondness for seniors and special needs, but I’m game for anything. And, who doesn’t like puppies and an in-the-prime-of-lifer?? Ornery, shy, suspicious, or complicated personalities happily embraced. I am patient and sensitive to the fact that some animals need lots of closeness and reassurance while others need their space. I’m willing to work to earn their trust and set appropriate boundaries to earn yours. The pet and owner and I will work together to set the terms of our relationship, and I promise to be a most excellent guardian catering to each individual’s needs. My most consistent regular obligation is a daily trip to the barn to take care of my horse, but if needed, I have alternate coverage. I try to keep my presence low profile while I’m there. I appreciate the trust that comes with visiting in someone else’s home. When you come home, it’s nice for everyone if you can barely tell I was there.
“We are so thrilled to have found Jessie as our regular walker for our German Shepherd Puppy! We’ve appreciated her great communication skills and look forward to the daily updates and photos from our pup’s adventures. We care deeply about our pup and value consistent use of our commands and rules - this has been great to have another skilled set of hands providing the same expectations we set and command from our pup.”

“Sarah and Anthony were the perfect sitters for our little dog. They also have a big dog and small dog to keep her company. Their house is very dog friendly as are they, thank you so much for taking such good care of her and sending pictures. This experience could not have been better!”

“Friendly and reliable! My very energetic golden had a great time with Josh and his pups while I was out of town. Also was available even when asked last minute. Highly recommend!”
“This was our second time using Ying and it was fantastic! He has really bonded with our dog and made him very comfortable. Ying gives him lots of attention and exercise and the two of them have quickly become good friends. We are so happy to have found Ying!”

“Erin was at the door waiting for our dogs to escort the dogs into her home for drop off. She also brought the dogs to the door at pick up. The dogs came home, happy and healthy and glad to see us. ✅.”

“Once again, our pups were in great hands. Repeat clients and will gladly bring them back again. The dogs are in great hands and can tell they get all the love in Ashlee’s home.”

“Teresa took such great care of my mature dog while we were away for a weekend. She sent updates and pics of the fun they were having together - her love for animals is obvious. I highly recommend her for boarding or any other care you may need for your pet.”

“My puppy had the time of his life while staying with Sabrina and her fiancé over the weekend. they consistently sent updates and pics which gave me a piece of mind. They communicate well and are flexible. They even sent my puppy home with some healthy homemade treats. We will def book again when we need a sitter!”

“Dylan and his fam were great! Oakley came home happy and relaxed. We felt she was well cared for and we received frequent pics and updates on doggy activities.”
