They have a good understanding of different dog temperaments and which dogs get along well for group interaction. On Rita’s first day visit Crystal took time to introduce her to other dogs slowly. About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. About: I worked in Veterinary medicine as a CVT for 15 years. I’m now in real estate so I have the experience but am able to work from home and spend hours with animals that need special care & medications (whether orally, injectable or topically). I am comfortable with most farm animals as well. My rates are based off of pets that need that extra care/ medications etc. Depending on their needs (or ease of care) my rates can be flexible! Just ask and we can discuss your/your pets needs to figure it out I am available for walks or drop ins most days but for boarding (my house or yours), I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. Because I can work from home your animals don’t have to be lonely while you’re away! I am active, healthy and smoke free. I love walking dogs, running them at the park, playing chase or tug a war or whatever shenanigans your pet loves. I’ve raised goats, chickens and pigs and have some experience with cows and horses. I have helped with reptiles and birds too.. As having worked in day practice and emergency medicine I have a wide knowledge and experiences with various medical needs, diseases and behaviors. About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.
About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and all kinds of farm animals my entire life as I grew up on a cattle ranch in southern Oregon. Two of my dogs and one of my cats had complex medical needs, so I have additional experience giving oral medication to cats and dogs, and caring for dogs during seizures. I love animals and am committed to making sure they get enough exercise and play time. I am a very calm person and animals typically respond to that by mirroring my energy—I find animals are drawn to be because I don’t yell, get overly excited, or move suddenly. I know how to respond to animals when they are nervous about meeting new people and have experience dealing with dogs that have mild to moderate behavioral issues. I’m waiting for my results from taking the bar, so I’m free all day, every day until the end of September. I can make pretty much any schedule work for me! I have a cat who would be very nervous about brining other pets into the house, so I can’t have pets in my own home. However, I am happy and excited to care for pets in your home! Cats need 1-2 hours of play time per day, and I make sure to provide that to my cat, and would make sure your cat got that, too. I’d love for you to share your cat’s typical active hours (for instance, my cat is high energy between 9-11am, and 4-5pm) so that I can be around during that time. :) Regarding dogs, I know exercise needs vary greatly, but I love the outdoors and would be happy to drive your dog to parks or hiking trails to make sure they get their exercise in! Duration of length of pet and house sit varied from one overnight to a month. I have also done feline check-ins for a a friends. About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. We had her and her brother for 16 years, as well as two pit bull mixes that 14 & 15 years. Now we are just down to a 1.5 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dog on daily walks and can fit things in easily. After the passing of our dog we wanted to start Rover in memory of our Chewy we have 2 Cats and 1 small Senior Dog that would be isolated in our master bedroom to give your family member the space and attention they deserve! I have several years experience in the professional pet care community; that includes 5 years in the veterinary field and 6 years as a small business owner. My side-hussle/ animal passion is dog-hiking, but I am a pet-sitting pro. **Bonus: I HAVE FARM ANIMAL EXPERIENCE!** I have multiple years of assistanting with sheep, goats, alpaca, including several years of experience in care and handling of birds such as chickens, ducks, geese and parakeets. Additionally, I am confident with reptiles (snakes, turtles, collard lizards, salamandars, aquatic frogs), hampsters, guinea pigs, bunnies and large rabbits all of which for whom I have cared. I have raised fish in both tanks and ponds. Other services I provide include Drop-In Visits, Nail Trims, Administration of Medications and House Sitting. I can mold my day around your furbabies schedule. **I can do doggy day care or over nights at my home for well established clients only.** I have a fully fenced, dog and child-centric acre with grass and gravel, sun and shade. I keep all gates closed or locked. With the exception of the doggy door so pups have freedom to come in from the elements or to go out for fresh air and potty breaks.

Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.
