About: Growing up with pets, I learned at a very young age, that our family dog did not like being ridden like a horse! While I've been around dogs all my life, most of my experience has been acquired during my adult years. I (Laura) am a freelancing Designer, and my husband (Lawrence) is a retired Registered Nurse. Together we have many years of experience raising our own family dogs: First we had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, then two Yorkshire Terrier's, and currently a Pomeranian mix... ...We also raised a couple of boys, and their motley-menagerie of creatures. I think my heart doubled in size, when I realized I could combine two of my favorite passion's; hanging out with furry little Lapdogs, and creating miniature fashion's for Sport! I also really enjoy doing 'Street' photography of doggies and their humans. Dogs bring us so much joy, we just love making a fuss over them! We live near Downtown Cottage Grove, in one of it's walkable historic neighborhoods. Ours is a child-free home, offering 'Boarding' and 'Daycare' services--hosting only small lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. Additionally, we also do 'Drop-in' visits in 'your' home for small and medium size dogs. Our fully-fenced backyard features a variety of tree's and flower gardens, with lots of room to romp and play. It's complete with a covered patio that provides protection from rain or sun year around. Most importantly, we want you to feel worry-free, while we keep your doggie safe and happy! We are available full-time to provide pet care. Occasionally, I freelance from home--where I make and sell custom-fit dog wear, including alterations on existing doggie wearables. My husband is retired, so we have very flexible schedules to accommodate and host our Lapdog friends. We can host up to three Lapdogs per day/night. We also can do 'drop-in' visits to your home, for both small and medium size dogs. Well, around here, it's safety first! We host only Lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. (Also, we only take small breed puppies.) Ours is a child-free home, with a fully-fenced backyard. We can host up to three dogs per day/night. I always sleep in the same room with our visiting doggies--either on our comfy sofas, or our king sized bed. My husband is a retired Registered Nurse. Please be mindful that visiting dogs need to be current with vaccines, flea & tick prevention, and an identity tag. We also have zoned heating and air conditioning throughout our house. There's several doggie-beds, toys, and crate (if requested) or feel free to provide your own. About: Ive taken care of all my own dogs since I was 15, we can bathe, give pills, walks, runs, park trips, rides in the car, hikes. I have a Scottish terrier who has a lot of skin and allergy issues so I know how to deal with all that. I work from home right now as does my fiancé, so someone is always here to watch your pups, and play with them, walk them etc. We have a fenced yard here, a large crate if needed, we have one 10 yr old fixed male Scottish terrier who is good with most all dogs just not aggressive ones, he sleeps mostly all day but he will play when the mood arises.

About: It’s easy to assume that cats are unaffected by their family leaving them for a holiday and truthfully most probably are, BUT, let’s not assume that play time, some good chin and ear scratches isn’t 💯 expected and deserved. I’ll always leave a litter box cleaner than when I found it but I can’t guarantee that your cat will use it…because their kind of cat-esque 😆

I can do early walks and evenings, too. I am mainly looking for dog walking opportunities but I do have a fenced yard. I definitely would adhere to what the pet owner prefers. I do tend to be a cautious person, so a leash is the golden standard!

During my time in the service I spent time caring for my colleagues dogs (I do love cats, but I’m allergic) and found myself actually branching out to others when they needed someone to watch their babies. I grew up always having a dog in our family, and know how important they are as family members. About: I volunteered with Northeastern SPCA, North Carolina in 2012 to 2014. I volunteered with Placer SPCA, Roseville, California. I provided dogs with walks. I assisted dogs and cats with classical conditioning and lure/reward training. I assisted dogs with positive reinforcement, desensitization, and counter conditioning. I apply positive reinforcement and maintain a clean a sanitary environment. I will provide the best care for your little one or your big one, but we all know they’re all little. You’re dog, cat, or whatever your companion may be they deserve the best care and all the love. I am prepared to give that to them. I love and care for animals. About: I have had dogs of varied sizes, temperaments, and ages throughout my life from pug/shitzus, to chow chows, to Goldens, and have loved them all. I am currently working part-time from home, so my availability to watch and care for dogs is very flexible and abundant. Including weekends and most holidays. My home is close to town country living. I am on 6 acres with very large fenced fields and a peaceful road to walk and wooded trails to explore close by. I have a 7 year old Golden Retriever that gets along well with other dogs, but also has a place to stay if your dog needs one-on-one attention.
About: I have grown up with dogs, raising all of them from puppies (starting at 10 weeks). I also worked for four summers at a dog daycare with dogs of all ages and breeds. At work, I learned how to perform basic grooming procedures, worked with many dietary plans and restrictions, and handled medications. I have also volunteered with shelter dogs and cats with various behaviors and needs. I currently work 4 day weeks, but I have ample free time on my days off I have included in my calendar.
