“Jakie started having back issues recently and she was more than accommodating to help with meds and she went above and beyond to carry the sweet boy in a pack. She’s the best! Jakie loves her, we love her & you will too!”

“Communication to make a specific plan that worked for our schedules went well, and she went out of her way to make accommodations for the dogs and us. Sounds like a great time was had with play and walks! Dogs were happy, clean, and all supplies organized and returned. I will plan to use her services again in the future.”

“Brittany did an amazing job taking care of our Josie girl! She communicated with us daily sending pictures and updates while we were away. We will definitely use her services again. Knowing our girl was in such good hands made being away from her a little easier!”

“Jackie was awesome to work with and was super easy to work with. She sent regular pics, videos, and updates of our pup and I never had to worry if his needs were being met. He’s a big dog and can be a lot to handle but Jackie was awesome with him. Thank you Jackie!”

“Hannah was so accommodating and above and beyond with her communication! Teddy enjoyed his time there and found that Toose was bigger than him and a great playmate! Would use again!”

About: Growing up with pets, I learned at a very young age, that our family dog did not like being ridden like a horse! While I've been around dogs all my life, most of my experience has been acquired during my adult years. I (Laura) am a freelancing Designer, and my husband (Lawrence) is a retired Registered Nurse. Together we have many years of experience raising our own family dogs: First we had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, then two Yorkshire Terrier's, and currently a Pomeranian mix... ...We also raised a couple of boys, and their motley-menagerie of creatures. I think my heart doubled in size, when I realized I could combine two of my favorite passion's; hanging out with furry little Lapdogs, and creating miniature fashion's for Sport! I also really enjoy doing 'Street' photography of doggies and their humans. Dogs bring us so much joy, we just love making a fuss over them! We live near Downtown Cottage Grove, in one of it's walkable historic neighborhoods. Ours is a child-free home, offering 'Boarding' and 'Daycare' services--hosting only small lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. Additionally, we also do 'Drop-in' visits in 'your' home for small and medium size dogs. Our fully-fenced backyard features a variety of tree's and flower gardens, with lots of room to romp and play. It's complete with a covered patio that provides protection from rain or sun year around. Most importantly, we want you to feel worry-free, while we keep your doggie safe and happy! We are available full-time to provide pet care. Occasionally, I freelance from home--where I make and sell custom-fit dog wear, including alterations on existing doggie wearables. My husband is retired, so we have very flexible schedules to accommodate and host our Lapdog friends. We can host up to three Lapdogs per day/night. We also can do 'drop-in' visits to your home, for both small and medium size dogs. Well, around here, it's safety first! We host only Lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. (Also, we only take small breed puppies.) Ours is a child-free home, with a fully-fenced backyard. We can host up to three dogs per day/night. I always sleep in the same room with our visiting doggies--either on our comfy sofas, or our king sized bed. My husband is a retired Registered Nurse. Please be mindful that visiting dogs need to be current with vaccines, flea & tick prevention, and an identity tag. We also have zoned heating and air conditioning throughout our house. There's several doggie-beds, toys, and crate (if requested) or feel free to provide your own. Also, we want to know about anything you think would be helpful in making your Doggie's visit a successful stay. We offer lots of love, cuddles, and belly rubs!
About: My top priority is always the well-being and happiness of your pets. Growing up with dogs, I've given them unconditional love, affection, and dedicated care, making them my number one focus. I’ve thrown them birthday birthday parties, given them daily walks, organized doggy playdates and visits to the dog park, and taken them on hiking and coast trips to create lasting memories. In addition to providing love and companionship, I’ve trained my dogs in everything from potty training and behavioral improvement to leash manners and more. I’m also passionate about giving back; I actively volunteer at Saving Grace Animal Shelter, where I assist with walking, socialization, and ensuring each animal feels comfortable and loved. I take special care to give them time to go potty, play to burn off energy, and even take them on fun field trips to enrich their lives. Your pets will receive the same level of love, attention, and dedication that I’ve always strived to provide, because they deserve nothing less. I'm currently taking a class at UCC on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-2 pm. However, I’m available before or after those times, and with boarding, I can accommodate after class on Fridays and weekends. I’m flexible and happy to work around your schedule, so just let me know what works best for you, and we’ll find the perfect plan together! I have a secure, fenced yard, doggy bowls, treats, leashes, and extra beds to keep your furry friend comfortable. If your dog has a tendency to chew, no worries! My home is fully dog-proofed, ensuring nothing gets left out or damaged. I offer a variety of services including dog walking, in-home pet sitting, overnight boarding, doggy daycare, and pet taxi services for vet visits, groomers, and more. Your pet's comfort and safety are my top priorities!
About: I've been actively taking care of dogs and cats for other military families since July 2018. Most of this care has been centered around boarding for long vacations or deployments. I provide boarding for all dog breeds, boarding includes; feeding, walking, baths, and cuddles. When your dog is in my care, they are treated like my own dogs. For cats I provide drop in care because most cats don't like being removed from their homes. I am a huge cat person and when your cat is in my care I will do anything to gain their trust. I have a very flexible work schedule and am able to provide board and drop in care daily. I am home most days from work at 3pm and have weekends off. I have a fully fenced in yard with two dogs of my own who are eager to play with new friends. I love to do treat hunts with toys and go for daily walks. For drop In care at your home I provide plenty of playtime, litter box cleaning, walking and cuddles with your pets.
“Shannon did an amazing job! She is so kind, easy to work with, and truly cared for Marshmallow! She sent me photos of them on hikes & snuggling, which gave me a lot of peace while out of the state. I absolutely recommend working with Shannon!”

“Heather is amazing!!! Excellent sitter! She took such great care of my 3 kitty cats. Excellent communication. I was able to have a fantastic time away knowing my precious kitties were in such great hands. Highly recommend and hope to book with her again. Thank you! Thank you!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, playtime, administering basic medications if needed, and providing plenty of affection and companionship. I understand how important it is to keep cats comfortable in their own environment and to respect their individual boundaries and routines. I’m reliable, attentive to detail, and always prioritize your cat’s safety, happiness, and well-being while you’re away.

“Samantha was a quick study, efficient, kind, and was able to touch my skittish cat at first meeting! I was so worried but she took my worries away and was so happy to get her reassuring words and pic while I was away. I was also happy to learn Sam is a local which provided even more assurance and even though I live a ways out she was willing to travel to me where others I contacted all said I was out of their area. I really liked her and my kitty Jack did as well, straightforward and got the job done. Thanks Sam, you were a life saver!”

About: I have been caring for my own pets for seven years, as well as helping others with their pets. I have three very well behaved dogs of my own! “Pamela was able to stay overnight with my cat on short notice which was great. We had time for a short orientation beforehand and she seemed to pick up quickly on what was needed, including giving pills to Missy. Pamela texted and sent pictures which was appreciated. She was respectful of my home and left it just as I had. Missy seemed to warm up to her easily and even followed Pamela around so that was a comforting to me. I would gladly have Pamela stay at my home with Missy again.”

About: It’s easy to assume that cats are unaffected by their family leaving them for a holiday and truthfully most probably are, BUT, let’s not assume that play time, some good chin and ear scratches isn’t 💯 expected and deserved. I’ll always leave a litter box cleaner than when I found it but I can’t guarantee that your cat will use it…because their kind of cat-esque 😆

“Megan was fantastic! She took great care of our two cats and sent great pictures and updates. She was and was very respectful of our house and left the cat area cleaner than when she started. She managed our more medically complex cat, and she got our more shy cat to engage and play with her. We’d love to have her back to watch our cats again!”

If pet sitting( in clients home) I would check on your animals regularly making sure they are fed and happy. I would love to hang out with them and give them all the attention they need to put them at ease while there parents are away 💗 For dog walking, I would be willing to exercise your dog as far and frequently as you would like. I love to walk and I would love a furry partner!
About: I have grown up with dogs, raising all of them from puppies (starting at 10 weeks). I also worked for four summers at a dog daycare with dogs of all ages and breeds. At work, I learned how to perform basic grooming procedures, worked with many dietary plans and restrictions, and handled medications. Let me know how I can best fit your pet’s needs. I have a dog of my own who is very timid and territorial, so I do not offer services in at my own place. “Alicia has been really great with Pinto. She's super friendly and very flexible with scheduling. Our pup can be a little timid with new people and she has been great with him gaining trust with her. He loves going on his walks and playing with Maggie. Highly recommend! Thanks so much!”

“Jackie did wonders for my puppy, Oggie! He’s still very new to my home and I was so worried about what I would do for the first few days while I’m at work. She kept Oggie occupied and happy. He came home and just wanted to sleep 🥰. She sent plenty of photos and updates on how he was doing throughout the day. I’ll be working with her in the future! Thank you so much Jackie!”

“Danita was amazing! We were on vacation and needed a last minute sitter for our 4 fubabies. We found her last minute and are so grateful we did! She was completely up for the job. She was sweet and responsive and above all flexible for our needs. Our dogs loved her and felt right at home. She also sent us photos of them throughout their stay while we were gone, which I always love and appreciate. I would highly recommend her for anyone out there looking for care for your furbabies.”

About: I am a seasoned puppy and dog owner with 10+ years experience of dog sitting for neighbors, friends and family. I am knowledgeable of the Eugene area and with caring for reactive dogs. I am a recent homesteader with a few years experience caring for goats, horses, donkeys, pigs, chickens and ducks. I love fostering an environment where dogs get to have fun and farm animals feel loved. Our two dogs are treated with respect and lots of love. Plenty of couch and bed time mixed with running around the property and playing fetch. We have a doggy pool for when our pups get too hot on those sunny PNW days. We treat client’s dogs as we treat our own. Licking and cuddling allowed!
About: Super experienced with pitbulls and puppies. Dogs are special friends who add a high level of joy to my heart ❤️ I say hi to all the dogs I pass on the street ☺️ I am a single parent with 50% custody and work part time so I have extra time for full time love for your dog family members ❤️ I live 2 minutes from a sweet dog walking area around a lake and I prioritize making sure the dog’s needs before leaving for the day!
About: I recently trained my high energy border collie mix puppy and although he’s still a teenager, he’s turned out to be a calm, caring, and gentle pup. Most of my pet sitting care has been done for cats, but I have house sat for a family with a Newfoundland, so I have experience with large breeds. I also have cared for a smaller dog that has OCD and separation anxiety. Thanks to the research and dedication that went into puppy training, I’m well aware of what their body language is signaling, and how to adapt according to what they’re feeling. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. My weekends are pretty flexible as well. Most of my plans are in the evenings (if I do have plans). I give my pets a predictable routine. The cats need a lot of attention as they’re very social. I take my pup to the dog park every couple of days, but I also tire him out through walks, herding games, and mental stimulation.
About: Animals are everything to me, I treat each like my own, with protection, love, and care. I take care of your animals and make sure your home is clean before you come back. I am able to stay the day, or night. I fear no animal. We play, hangout, and have memories together. You pet will be in the best care possible when I am around. When you leave your dog will never feel alone, will never be alone. By the time I leave your furry friend will miss me. I have many references, many people that have me come back when they leave. I am experienced in all care with a big range of animals. I DO HAVE A DAUGHTER WHO WILL JOIN ME. SHE IS 2 YEARS OLD.
About: I have watched many dog when my moms friends where out of town. I have stayed the weekend and made sure they where taken care of. My schedule is pretty open seeing as I make my own schedule at work. And it’s summer so that’s even more time to help out. I have a very friendly dog! He gets lots of walks and my place has a court yard so he gets lots of runs and love.
“Was very understanding, and seemed to have done some research on my pup's breed! Went slow, and tried to be a good friend to her. She was exhausted when she got home, and definitely seemed to have a decent time. Definitely recommend!”

About: Compassionate, communicative, safety focused and respectful of my clients and their buddies of all different shapes and sizes! not to mention we live in such a beautiful part of the world and dogs just make it so much better to share with! I can be the good guy or the stern guy, all depends on the situation and the needs of your babies! I’m a merchandiser for a well known pet food company so well versed in animal nutrition. My dogs dabble in Top Dog events here and there so I’m definitely well versed in the challenges of some breeds and I’ve also been a house/animal sitter (all types of animals large and small) pretty solidly for the last few years with Trusted Housesitters. I have 5⭐️ reviews for all of my sits, repeat sits and more importantly life long friendships with my clients and their animals. Let’s just say that I have a ton of furry nieces and nephews 🤣 I’m taking the plunge with ROVER to keep active, to continue my flexible income goals and to support my stupidly expensive fishing habit. But all jokes aside this is ridiculously serious to me because it’s a nightmare when you can’t take a holiday or travel or focus on work because you don’t have the trust or faith that your pets will be cared for at the same level as you do. A few years of Veterinary Tech and Grooming work gives me a fairly mature and solid base of animal husbandry practices and procedures that is always an asset as well as SO MUCH LOVE and APPRECIATION that we get to be loved back by all the critters! Pet care encompasses every waking hour because I’m a dog mom of three! In saying that I can’t afford the perfect life of hanging out with my dogs 24/7 although I keep trying! I’m super flexible with my job. No set hours so whatever suits your pets needs/schedule works for me! Socializing, insane nature walks, or sitting at a picnic table or bench just taking it all in and reflecting, because you 💯 know that our pets are the masters of reflection and taking it all in❤️Flexibility and open mindedness makes everyone’s life better. I don’t offer my home for boarding but we do live on 10 acres of property that is full of madrone trees, creeks, challenging terrain or relaxing flat logging roads for an epic leg stretch! Every animal is different and has their own individual needs and wants so once we assess those we can create a program that will be pure stoke for your pet! I’m an outdoorsy chick who is always scouting for fish so my walks are generally planned around a watershed for the most part. One thing that I can promise you is that there’s a good chance your pet will be pretty pumped to see me again🫶 Your home=your rules🤙

About: I have been caring for my own pets for seven years, as well as helping others with their pets. I have three very well behaved dogs of my own! I really enjoy going for walks so bringing a new friend would be awesome! I am a full time student at UCC, and work part time at planet fitness on the weekends. I am almost always available in the evening. I provide my pets with the food and water they need, bathe and groom them regularly, go on walks and to the dog park and they are maintained with their vaccinations. About: Hi, I'm Dani. Thank you for considering me to take care of your fur-friends while you're away; as a lover of all things furry and a pet owner myself, I understand that this can be a big decision! I hope that learning a little bit about me will help you feel confident and happy with your decision to entrust me with the privelege of caring for your precious pets. How I started: I am a veteran pet caretaker, having started my journey as a private dog-walker and as a pet care worker at a large commercial boarding kennel. I intended at first to work in the pet care field for only a short time after college, but soon found that I just didn't want to do anything else. I was soon doing in-home care for dogs and cats of all breeds, temperaments, and ages. My main source of work now is as a professional dog trainer, which is my heart's mission in this world. I take the so-called "easy" cases (puppies, obedience, etc) as well as the "hard" cases (aggression, behavior problems, serious anxiety), and I love doing both. All animals need an advocate. My training experience over the past 7 years or so has really honed my sense of what animals are "saying" and my ability to hear them when they tell us what they need; as such, I can care for animals with a variety of temperaments and behavioral needs. I love each pet in my care as though they're my own - because that's truly how I feel, but also because that's what I would want for my dog. It's important to me to respect each animal, each owner, and each family, and to give each pet care that feels as close to the loving care you yourself provide as is possible. When working with me you can be assured that your pet will be in caring, gentle hands. As a self-employed dog trainer, my schedule is flexible. I can take only a limited number of certain types of services. Please reach out to discuss your needs with me in more detail, and I will be happy to accommodate any of your schedule needs to the best of my ability. As a veteran pet caretaker, I understand that I have the capacity to improve your pet's wellbeing while you work or travel. Quality of care is very important to me, and I aim to meet each pet's physical, emotional, and mental needs as fully as possible. This will vary quite a bit by pet, which is one place that my extensive experience in a variety of care settings comes in handy. I also try to provide concise but insightful, detail-rich updates to owners. This is important to me partly because this is what I personally prefer when leaving my pet in someone's care, but also because good communication between us can help us identify if your pet is anxious, confused (for example if they're not used to your absence), or even sick.
