I also have experience with big birds (cockatoos, macaws, African gray and South American parrots, and cockatiels). I love almost all animals. I've managed multiple pets for many years, including Japanese Chin rescues, who often had special physical and emotional needs. I have a large fenced yard and friendly dogs for your's to play with at my house. If I come to you, I will spend enough time to make sure your fur kids are happy. I am gratefully retired so I'm home all the time. My husband is retired too and serves as the assistant caregiver as well as the chief petting officer. I'm an early riser and he is a late-night guy so your kids are covered with an awake adult about 18 hours a day. I have a secure, double-fenced yard, a large house with lots of beds, and plenty of time for cuddling. My house is entirely dog-friendly, with hardwood floors and a special room for feeding the furkids.

About: I have taken care dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I am patient and engage with each pet at their speed. Building trust and respect are my top values when caring for pets. As a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society, I understand the unique needs that each pet has and am eager to meet them. I work a part-time job with 6–8 hour shifts on select days. I keep my availability on Rover up to date and will always communicate in advance if a scheduling conflict arises. I’ve cared for pets in a variety of housing situations. I take my time to understand what precautions I can take to keep all pets safe.
About: I grew up with a dog, and have always lived with either a dog or cat as an adult. My heart just fills with joy when I am around all four legged friends. I also have experience with low energy dogs, training puppies, and even whelping litters! I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks throughout the week, including weekends, with plenty of time for play, exercise, and companionship. I focus on personalized, attentive care in a calm, clean, and secure environment. I maintain your pet’s routine, monitor behavior and health, and provide mental and physical enrichment. Owners receive regular updates and photos for complete peace of mind.
About: I am currently a veterinary assistant. I have also been a volunteer foster for many small animals, mainly cats and dogs, for 8 years. I have had many pets of my own as well, of all different species! I have experience with pets ranging from minutes old to well into their golden years. I truly have a passion for animals and want to give them the best care possible. Working with pets is my main job while I study to get into medical school. I also have my own pets so they are pretty much a constant in my life. I am always sure to be respectful of a client’s home. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. About: I'm an animal lover. I had dogs and cats and mainly had just dogs/cats in the past. I've always wanted to take care of animals. Even starting out as a walker/sitter it’s fun to be able to help I live in a house with a yard and they do allow animals. I will make sure they will not be able to escape. I will never forget to feed them. Play with them. Take them out whenever they need to go. I will keep the owners up to date with everything involving their pets. I have a small back patio but the place does have a big dog park! I do want to put that making a list of things that you normally would do with your pet, fill free to write down and tell me. Any questions at all ask me. Please review on booking me. Currently unemployed and my first time being pregnant! So I am looking into making some income someway before starting back up work but I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! And or cats! I’m available for walking/ check ins any time of day(I’ll be a bit slow but definitely high energy for the furry ones! I’m great at providing whatever needs fit, either high energy for a young pup or a low casual exercise for those senior babies lol :) If I were to care for someone’s pet in their home I’d make sure to bring extra items for their pets like extra food bowls, walking harnesses/leashes or food.

“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! We're definitely going to use him for future events.”
