About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.
About: I have two older (but still high energy) dogs I love! I can cater if older dogs have bladder issues and can supply a doggy diaper to wear instead as well (our oldest has issues sometimes too, I get it!) I currently work from home Monday through Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Stay at home working mom that also has a live in grandma. This is a total pet household. I do allow them on furniture and bed and they do not need to be kennel trained. I just ask that they are great with young children and other small dogs.
“Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. But honestly, I already knew on my heart that they would care and lovey dogs almost as much me by the number of dog sitters they interviewed and even coming back for a second meet and greet just to make sure everything was going to work out. I will also add that piglet is very well behaved has excellent social skills , and over all just a well balanced dog. Says a lot about her parents! I know once you see how well cared and loved your pet is there you will not to leave them with anyone else! I am a graduate student studying clinical mental health counseling, so I have a large amount of availability at this time. I hope to work consistently with pet parents, but am flexible to provide sporadic care and attention as well. As of right now, there are few times that are off the table, so reach out with your pet care needs! When I visit your space I will always respect boundaries and communicate fully about what is expected of me. I welcome feedback and frequent communication from pet parents, and hope that I can become a trusted person in you and your pet's life! At this time, I do not have the availability to provide care in my own home, as I have two fur babies of my own who get stressed easily. If a care relationship is established, I would be willing to have a conversation about this if there is an extended amount of time where care is required (vacations, or otherwise).
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11, from pet-sitting friends dogs and cats, to helping out at the shelter, though my pride and joy is my shelter pup Maggie, who I had the pleasure of training, and had been my buddy for 13 years. She was the absolute best, and I miss her so so much. Since Maggie passed, I now have the pleasure of raising and training yet another shelter pup, who is a great dog with lots of spunk. Her name is Luma, she’ll be 3 in April 2025, and she’s great with kids, dogs, and cats! I go to church on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings, and I’m currently an online student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I look forward to hearing from you :) Currently, I am available for pet and house sitting, as well as walking and drop-ins. When house and pet sitting I will follow the rules you set for your home, as well as treating your pets as my own, which means spoiling them with lots of snuggles and top notch care!
About: What sets me apart is my background in both veterinary medicine and animal behavior. I have over 4 years of hands-on experience working in veterinary settings with pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs, including anxious, senior, and high-energy animals. As a Zoology student at Oregon State University, I’m especially passionate about understanding animal behavior and making sure pets feel comfortable, enriched, and safe while in my care. I also have experience handling medications, monitoring health and behavior changes, and providing patient, individualized care for every pet. I am also very active and am always looking for a running partner who would like some good exercise and fun! I’m currently a part-time student and work part-time at the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis, but I have a lot of weekend availability and flexibility throughout the week. I’m available for dog walks, pet sitting, drop-in check-ins, and general pet care, and I’m happy to work with each family’s schedule and routine! I love staying active and creating a good balance between playtime, exercise, and cuddle time. My current house doesn’t allow animals, but I have reliable transportation and would be happy to take your pet on walks, hikes, or to explore new parks if that’s something they enjoy. I’m active enough to keep up with high-energy dogs or cats, while also being patient and calm with pets who prefer a slower pace and plenty of downtime.
About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. My whole family is big on dogs and I am prepared for any situation…Healthy dogs to dogs with medical care needed. We have had dogs from as small as tea cup Yorkies to big English Mastiffs. Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I am home from college and looking for a summer job. About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.
