About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with cats and their kittens as a child, and have always bonded closely with them. I adopted My Own Cat promptly upon turning 18 (in 2002); Khaki was with me for 18 years, outliving his adopted brother Leo (my sister’s cat), who ended up living with me as well. I’ve also cared for my exes cat (Alli), and my son’s first cat (Lady Grey), and my current grand cats, Cas and Zizi. I am comfortable with litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. I have experience helping cats with ear, eye, gastrointestinal, and kidney problems. I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. About: I've always been an animal whisperer, with animals of all type. I grew up on a farm/forest, and befriended wild animals on a regular basis, as well as our domesticated dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, horses etc. Since then, I have volunteered for animal shelters, continued befriending all animals I meet, honed my skills with consciously working energy between animals/humans, even learned some animals massage. And currently have friendly dogs, cats, goats, chickens on the 62 acre farm. We also have private areas for your pet, away from other animals. We have multiple people on land, and care is upon self or 2-3 others. We allow only one inside house dog at a time and 2-3 in our shaded outdoor pens. We have fenced areas, some outdoor pens, and some animals of the right nature are allowed inside the home, if that is welcomed by their owners/their demeanor is right, during times of extra special personal attention.

About: I've always had a love for animals and have had an animal in my life since I was a child. They truly are a joy and are so sweet, smart, and intuitive! I don't currently have my own fur baby which makes Rover such a great experience. I enjoy meeting all the different and new friends. ;) Animals aren't just pets they are a part of the family and need the same love and care. When I care for your fur babies I always hope to provide a positive and loving experience for them while you're away. About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 7 years old. I currently own 4 dogs of varying sizes and breeds. For the last year I’ve work in veterinary medicine first as a technician assistant and then as a client service representative. I’ve done pet sitting multiple times for family members who had to travel. I work full time, Sunday-Wednesdays. I’m able to stop by early in the morning before work and after work in the afternoon on work days. I’m free for multiple home visits Thursdays-Saturdays I have a large secure yard with 4 very friendly and playful young dogs. I have two XXL kennels, one medium kennel, and a small kennel for dogs who prefer to sleep in a kennel at night.

About: I worked at a vet clinic for 3.5 years but due to life changes I now work at a pet store and petsit to continue to work with animals while I work towards my goal of working in vet med again. I’m reliable with my own transportation and am very knowledgeable in proper pet care. I am communicative, compassionate, and attentive to animals and their needs. I have been my own friends’ and family’s pet sitter for the past 5 years and I treat every animal as if they were my own while in my care. My whole life revolves around animals; I have 5 cats of my own and have fostered over 20 animals ranging from cats of all ages, dogs, and guinea pigs. I also work directly with animals at my job and am looking to continue that path. About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a child. I have experience giving oral medicine as well as shots. I will consistently walk, play, feed them as well as take care of any pet as if it were my own. :) I am currently working part time but am open to nearly any time as I can work around that schedule to fit you and your pups needs. I grew up with dogs and have a passion for them, I have officially worked with dogs as a profession for 6 years now. I allow dogs on my bed and couches however I continue whatever training you do for your dog while they are with me. You can count on the fact that I will not go against what you allow your dog to do and not do when there with me. I continue the care and training you do at home, consistency is so important. I do have a 2year old daughter, she is very good with animals, she does not treat them poorly & she is surprisingly gentle with my extended families dogs. Everyone trains there dog differently, in regards to furniture, treats and walking. Some owners are more strict and I stick to what the family wants with caring for there pet.

I've been around animals for most of my life, and my love for caring for them eventually led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, and boarding services. In that role, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking pets on potty breaks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising daycare playgroups, and caring for boarding pets while closely monitoring their health, behavior, and comfort. “I cannot thank Katie and her family enough for their excellent care of our labradoodle Olive while we were out of town for a week. Katie met Olive before the trip, sincerely inquiring about her likes and dislikes. She was on time to pick up Olive and cared about transporting her safely. During the stay Katie sent me pictures and daily communication about Olive's time at her house. All I can say is that Olive was treated like a Queen. She had daily exercise, was well fed (with the food we provided) and most importantly given lots of love. I know Olive would gladly go back to stay with Katie and her family the next time we travel.
