Her place is located adjacent to Delta Ponds so she is fortunate to have some wildlife come by to visit outside her back slider door. Dexter was able to see a Squirell, Blue Jay and other birds. His walks to the ponds kept him engaged and happy. He was also socialized with other dogs that she sits. All in all he came back as a better dog and was very happy to spend time with her. He had no separation anxiety at all and was very content. I received daily photos of him and was updated about how he was doing regularly. I would recommend Denise to any one looking for a sitter. Her rates are great as well.”

Since early middle school, my family and I have rescued and loved 4 amazing dogs. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I've cared for dogs of family, friends, and co-workers in their homes. “Tausha is the first Rover pet sitter I have used. My two dogs are both medically fragile, with one taking 3 different meds, daily. My prior pet sitters have either been family members or a a neighborhood pet sitter who knows my dogs. I was going out of town for six days and the scheduled pet sitter had a family emergency. So, I asked Tausha if she would feel comfortable stepping into the role... and she accepted. Taking care of my dogs means following a medication chart, and a fairly specific task list. For example, one dog must be fed by hand, using a baby syringe. Additionally, my dogs are small, and it is Winter, so they don't get "let outside" to pee or poop. This means I use high-quality pee pads, which is an extra step for keeping the dogs' room clean and sanitary. Tausha visited my dogs three times each day: breakfast, dinner, and the last visit just for a "night" tuck in to make sure they would be okay until the morning, clean up any poop or change the potty pad. Tausha was not intimidated by the complexity of my dogs' care and did a great job. If you consider she had never taken care of them, especially for an extended number of days, she did a stellar job. Would not hesitate to use her again.”

About: I worked in Veterinary medicine as a CVT for 15 years. I’m now in real estate so I have the experience but am able to work from home and spend hours with animals that need special care & medications (whether orally, injectable or topically). I am comfortable with most farm animals as well. My rates are based off of pets that need that extra care/ medications etc. Depending on their needs (or ease of care) my rates can be flexible! Just ask and we can discuss your/your pets needs to figure it out I am available for walks or drop ins most days but for boarding (my house or yours), I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. Because I can work from home your animals don’t have to be lonely while you’re away! I am active, healthy and smoke free. I love walking dogs, running them at the park, playing chase or tug a war or whatever shenanigans your pet loves. I’ve raised goats, chickens and pigs and have some experience with cows and horses. I have always been full of energy and taking care of crackhead dogs give me a lot of patience, so puppies and active dogs are my favorite and specialty! I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets are well taken care of while you’re away. I currently live in an apartment and keep a clean, calm, and pet safe space. That being said, I’ll be moving into a townhome with more space at the end of August. No matter the space, I’m attentive, patient, and committed to creating a secure and loving environment for every pet I care for.
About: Ever since I was 8 years old I have been responsible for feeding, cleaning up after, walking and teaching simple tricks to our family pets. Family and friends have relied on me to not only give necessary care to their pets but make sure they are receiving all the desired attention, play time, and alone time. Since I have grown up with pets my whole life I have a great understanding of how to read cat’s and dog’s body language to know how they are feeling in different situations. I am currently living with two boy cats of my own and they are my babies! I’m currently a full time student looking for a way to get money to help with bills by doing something I’m passionate about, loving animals. I’m available to sit on weekends Friday - Sunday, and available after 2 pm on weekdays for whatever your fur baby might possibly need, may be available for overnight stays during week days depending on location. When caring for your pet in your home, I prioritize safety, trust, communication and a clean environment. I will carefully follow all instructions provided to me including feeding or bathroom schedules, medications or any special needs. I keep the house secure by keeping doors locked and avoiding anything that could put your fur baby at risk. I am more than happy to communicate with regular updates if desired! I will also be sure to clean up after your pet and leave your home same or better condition than I found it.

About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. I have a special fondness for seniors and special needs, but I’m game for anything. And, who doesn’t like puppies and an in-the-prime-of-lifer?? Ornery, shy, suspicious, or complicated personalities happily embraced. I am patient and sensitive to the fact that some animals need lots of closeness and reassurance while others need their space. The pet and owner and I will work together to set the terms of our relationship, and I promise to be a most excellent guardian catering to each individual’s needs. My most consistent regular obligation is a daily trip to the barn to take care of my horse, but if needed, I have alternate coverage. I try to keep my presence low profile while I’m there. I appreciate the trust that comes with visiting in someone else’s home. When you come home, it’s nice for everyone if you can barely tell I was there.

Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.
About: I have been a regular dog and house sitter for a family in the Eugene/Springfield area for 5 years. The family had 3 dogs. Duration of length of pet and house sit varied from one overnight to a month. I have also done feline check-ins for a a friends. Have done one-time-only pet sits for other people and regular pet sits for housemates with their own pets. I'm currently unemployed. I have ample time to prioritize care for your pet. I am seeking part time employment. If found, this will extend the hours of day that your pet is left alone in the house. I am attentive. If you have a dog, we ARE going on walks and WILL play. I follow instructions as to food quantity and medication administration. I clean up pet waste. I water gardens. Will do some cleaning during my stay if you'd like. Will clean up after myself and your pet.

I tend to prefer the bigger dogs myself, because I love their cuddles. I have also cohabitated with cats, and enjoy their cuddles and purr vibrations. I’m returning to school and have ample availability all week, I have one class on campus, twice a week, and that's my only in-person commitment! About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I'm currently working part-time, but have a lot of availability for watching your pets. About: I have trained my own dog to be a good citizen canine as well as a service animal. So I have experience teaching dogs to sit, stay, leave it lay down, as well as other commands. And hope to be able to use this training to help with your dog or puppy. Ever since I was young I've had a real affinity for animals and they're really drawn to my sweet and caring nature. I can be a bit shy at first but you won't regret giving me a chance to help your pets out. Right now my schedule's pretty open any day of the week as long as I can get to address have a driver license,I look forward to getting to know more dogs and spend time playing with them. I'm not currently working so I have as much time in the world to spend with your dog and to make sure it gets its daily exercise and other basic needs. I have unfenced yard , will always take precautions and have leash on a dog when taking it for potty breaks I do have a dog of my own he is a service dog for a living but I can always kennel his to keep your dog safe or put him in my bedroom.

About: I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a dog-lover through and through! Since early middle school, my family and I have rescued and loved 4 amazing dogs. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I've cared for dogs of family, friends, and co-workers in their homes. As I write this, I'm watching two great pups! I am responsible, caring, and have experience with a variety of different breeds. From bigger dogs like Great Danes, Pitbulls, Bulldogs, and Boxers to smaller pups like terriers, Chihuahuas, and all kinds on little poodle mixes. I work hybrid and can occasionally accommodate longer stays depending on when I work from home. I spend a lot of time at home and would be able to spend a lot time with your pet. I live in an apartment, so frequent potty breaks and walks outside would be given. I would prefer to crate your dog while i'm out of the apartment. I'm not usually away for more than a couple of hours.
