About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. About: I have always loved dogs. Growing up we always had two. As an adult I am dog mom to a 12 yr old Lab Doberman who is the sweetest. While I’m new to Rover, I bring years of trusted experience walking and sitting dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages from playful 8-week-old puppies to wise 13-year-old seniors. The dogs I'm carrying in the photos have been family to me since they were pups, and ones I've had the pleasure of looking out for. I’ve studied basic training techniques through a puppy obedience course, guidance from a professional trainer, and good ol' YouTube. These tools help me better understand each dog’s energy and needs, whether they’re high-reactive adventurers or mellow cuddlebugs. I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.
About: I have had experience with animals since I was 8, I currently have a Great Dane/Pyrenees mix and a tabby kitty. I love them all! I work nights until 12 am, so if I am staying at your house or watching them, I will spend a lot of time with them! I enjoy spending time with your pup/cat and I will care for them as if they are my own pet! I have been pet sitting for a while, so I love every animal.

About: I have had the joy of sharing life with a wide variety of dogs in my time. I have lived with cats, small dogs and big dogs. I tend to prefer the bigger dogs myself, because I love their cuddles. I have also cohabitated with cats, and enjoy their cuddles and purr vibrations. I have trained all of my dogs with the positive reinforcement method. I understand that dogs love to have boundaries made clear, so that they can feel safe. I do not raise my voice with dogs, and focus on reinforcing the positive choices that they make. I am experienced with giving medications to animals, even grumpy senior cats. I am patient with all animals, reliable and responsible for all pet owners. I value having a trustworthy petsitter for my own pets, and want to offer that to others in return. I am currently available anytime for pet care. I have some hobbies, but can easily schedule around them. With my own dogs, I am very active. We go on walks daily and often do road trips to the beach. I care for pets with patience and respect for the animals needs as well as the owners requests and preferences. I am very clean and organized, and will leave any space I am in clean.
About: I have trained my own dog to be a good citizen canine as well as a service animal. So I have experience teaching dogs to sit, stay, leave it lay down, as well as other commands. And hope to be able to use this training to help with your dog or puppy. Ever since I was young I've had a real affinity for animals and they're really drawn to my sweet and caring nature. I can be a bit shy at first but you won't regret giving me a chance to help your pets out. Right now my schedule's pretty open any day of the week as long as I can get to address have a driver license,I look forward to getting to know more dogs and spend time playing with them. I'm not currently working so I have as much time in the world to spend with your dog and to make sure it gets its daily exercise and other basic needs. I have unfenced yard , will always take precautions and have leash on a dog when taking it for potty breaks I do have a dog of my own he is a service dog for a living but I can always kennel his to keep your dog safe or put him in my bedroom.

“I have already booked my pup's next stay with Joshua. He is a dog person through and through, a good soul, and loves providing his canine B&B as his business. My Rusty is one year old and had little socializing with other dogs, but Josua "auditioned" him with the family dogs in advance, which ensured a great fit. Rusty came home after a week of hanging with the pack, and he's calmer and more confident when we go out for drives or walks. Joshua is a good communicator and will relieve your anxiety over finding a suitable sitter.”
