“Joel and Crystal are lifesavers. While I was out of state at a conference my Dog center unfortunately canceled halfway through the booking. I was very stressed out and was able to connect with Joel and Chrystal to take Pancake for an additional few days. She had a great time and I can tell because I got pictures of him with his tongue almost hanging to the floor. He must’ve instantly felt very safe with them being moved around a lot over a few days. I got pictures of him getting cuddles with kids and playing with other dogs. The nice thing was he was able just to check on the dogs, but was allowed his own space just to go and sleep when he wanted to. Came back with a huge smile on his face and completely worn out and slept for a day Their communication was great and easy and extremely responsive. They let me know everything that was going on, especially knowing how nervous I was that we had to book without a meet and greet. To top it off my train was late by three hours and they were very accommodating on the pick up time. Pancake can’t wait to go back and see them.”

About: Growing up with pets, I learned at a very young age, that our family dog did not like being ridden like a horse! While I've been around dogs all my life, most of my experience has been acquired during my adult years. I (Laura) am a freelancing Designer, and my husband (Lawrence) is a retired Registered Nurse. Together we have many years of experience raising our own family dogs: First we had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, then two Yorkshire Terrier's, and currently a Pomeranian mix... ...We also raised a couple of boys, and their motley-menagerie of creatures. I think my heart doubled in size, when I realized I could combine two of my favorite passion's; hanging out with furry little Lapdogs, and creating miniature fashion's for Sport! I also really enjoy doing 'Street' photography of doggies and their humans. Dogs bring us so much joy, we just love making a fuss over them! We live near Downtown Cottage Grove, in one of it's walkable historic neighborhoods. Ours is a child-free home, offering 'Boarding' and 'Daycare' services--hosting only small lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. Additionally, we also do 'Drop-in' visits in 'your' home for small and medium size dogs. Our fully-fenced backyard features a variety of tree's and flower gardens, with lots of room to romp and play. It's complete with a covered patio that provides protection from rain or sun year around. Most importantly, we want you to feel worry-free, while we keep your doggie safe and happy! We are available full-time to provide pet care. Occasionally, I freelance from home--where I make and sell custom-fit dog wear, including alterations on existing doggie wearables. My husband is retired, so we have very flexible schedules to accommodate and host our Lapdog friends. We can host up to three Lapdogs per day/night. We also can do 'drop-in' visits to your home, for both small and medium size dogs. Well, around here, it's safety first! We host only Lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. (Also, we only take small breed puppies.) Ours is a child-free home, with a fully-fenced backyard. We can host up to three dogs per day/night. I always sleep in the same room with our visiting doggies--either on our comfy sofas, or our king sized bed. My husband is a retired Registered Nurse. Please be mindful that visiting dogs need to be current with vaccines, flea & tick prevention, and an identity tag. We also have zoned heating and air conditioning throughout our house. There's several doggie-beds, toys, and crate (if requested) or feel free to provide your own. Also, we want to know about anything you think would be helpful in making your Doggie's visit a successful stay. We offer lots of love, cuddles, and belly rubs!

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.

About: I have three beautiful cats at home that are super energetic and snuggly! My family had cats while I was in high school and I love being around all animals! Just moved to Eugene from Tennessee and currently have open availability! I’m an early riser so if you need a dog walked in the morning, I’ve got you! I have a car and am willing to walk or bus as well! Our house is plentiful of cat trees, window perches and tunnels! We give them fresh food and water every day and they all get individualized attention! I will do the exact same for your pets!
About: I have owned dogs from the age of 7 . At age 11, I started walking dogs for multiple families. At 18, I was a manager at a dog boarding facility as well as a dog foster parent for dogs that had behavioral problems and health issues. As of 5 years ago, I started showing and breeding Labradors and doing professional training. I love everything about dogs and want to help you keep them happy!!! My schedule is very flexible as I run my own business and make my own schedule. I have plenty of time to walk and care for dogs. I have over 20 years of experience taking care of other pets in their own homes where they feel comfortable. I’m able to do multiple check-in’s to make sure the pets have all their needs met!

About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.
About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.

About: I worked as a veterinary technician for over 4 years and have lived with and cared for dogs my whole life. This means if your dog needs special medical home treatment (pills, SQ fluids, insulin injections, etc.) I am comfortable administering these, but I would most likely charge more for special needs pets. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for almost 20 years, but took a break while abroad in the Peace Corps. I have a masters degree in environmental science, and work from home in environmental communication. I love pets and will treat your dog or cat like my own. In my pet sitting career, I have also cared for every type of animal, from hand fed fish to chickens to fat tailed geckos, so if you have more than just dogs and cats, I'm glad to take care of the whole menagerie! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I work from home and take my own doggo out a bunch! He has episodes of back pain and when he does, we don't walk as much, but when he's feeling good, we walk about 2 miles a day. I'd LOVE for your dog to join us! “Joel and Crystal are lifesavers. While I was out of state at a conference my Dog center unfortunately canceled halfway through the booking. I was very stressed out and was able to connect with Joel and Chrystal to take Pancake for an additional few days. She had a great time and I can tell because I got pictures of him with his tongue almost hanging to the floor. He must’ve instantly felt very safe with them being moved around a lot over a few days. I got pictures of him getting cuddles with kids and playing with other dogs. The nice thing was he was able just to check on the dogs, but was allowed his own space just to go and sleep when he wanted to. Came back with a huge smile on his face and completely worn out and slept for a day Their communication was great and easy and extremely responsive. They let me know everything that was going on, especially knowing how nervous I was that we had to book without a meet and greet. To top it off my train was late by three hours and they were very accommodating on the pick up time. Pancake can’t wait to go back and see them.”
