Sorry, but I don't accept aggressive breeds (Pit bulls, Rottweilers or any dogs over 75lbs.) I love to make animals happy and contented. I believe in positive care and love to them. Their comfort while their parents are away is my priority. My property is fully fenced large lot. I am with them the entire time outside. I have some experience training dogs. I taught commands by voice and hand signals successfully. We can do meet and greets. I am very responsible and would do everything possible to make sure your pet is safe and happy while you are away. About: Hi there! I grew up with numerous kinds of dogs and cats. Currently, I have a dog named Maggie and she is 5 years old. She is a lab mix and she loves playing with other dogs. I’m a very responsible pet owner, and I love taking care of Maggie. My family and I have always enjoyed being around and owning animals and I am extremely comfortable with dogs, cats, and house-sitting. Over the years I have been a trusted house sitter with various dogs/cats and I will love your dog or cat like my own and take very good care of them. I take Maggie on a morning and evening walk, so you can expect your dog to get daily exercise. I also own a XL dog crate, so if you would prefer your dog to be crated during the day, I can use that and you won't have to bring one. When I'm around I love to give them pets and attention but not all cats want that, so I tend to let them come to me. As long as I take fare of food, water, litter, they seem to be pretty happy ?. One thing that might set me apart from other cat sitters would be that I will give them all the attention they want when I'm around. They want to sit on my lap while I eat dinner? Fine. About: I've always had a huge heart for animals and taking care of things in general. I've taken care of my own animals since I was 8 or 9 years old and did 4H for 4 years. Family and friends always had me as there pet sitter because not only was I attentive and took good care of their animals, but I absolutely loved doing it! I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.

I like to either go for a walk, run, ski, or maybe even for an excursion into the mountains. It really depends on the dog though. If we need to keep it low-key then we'll just do a few laps in the neighborhood or even just hang out at home. Aside from getting the pup some exercise, I will often go spend time with friends or go run errands. In these cases I like to bring the dog with me as much as possible, but again, it depends on the dog. If you have a younger dog I can do some very basic training in obedience, commands and behavior. I work inconsistent hours and days. Outside of that I spend time outside or at the house cooking and hanging out with friends. Typically if I'm not working I will spend most of the day with the pet. When I do work, I can be gone 8 to 14 hours, so I like to get up super early to walk the dog, and take care of chores. This really depends on the pet. Some dogs like to flee if they get out, some like to stay around the people. Some dogs are friendly to other dogs, some are not. Some are all bark and no bite, some no bark and all bite. Learning how the dog does in different situations helps me figure out where I can take them, and how to take care of them and keep them safe. I think the big thing about house sitting is making sure they have everything they need before I leave them for an extended period of time: taking them out to poo, making sure they're fed, making sure there's no human food left out for them to snatch, etc.

About: I’ve had pets and family pets I’m always ready and willing to give them what they need. My baby loves animals too. It will be fun! I feel like they are the same as humans. I made a lil human! So I can manage my son loves dogs too. Just happy to get out more. I don’t have any pets anymore mine got old. I make sure they are feed and tuckered out before bed. Getting as much attention as they need.

About: Hi there! I grew up with numerous kinds of dogs and cats. Currently, I have a dog named Maggie and she is 5 years old. She is a lab mix and she loves playing with other dogs. I’m a very responsible pet owner, and I love taking care of Maggie. I also own a XL dog crate, so if you would prefer your dog to be crated during the day, I can use that and you won't have to bring one. About: I have experienced many many years of raising our Berners. From puppy-hood to senior care. Trained them to hike (off leash), paddleboard and worked as a school therapy dog. Needless to say, my dog-ownership resume comes with a long list of experiences. I am retired from 30 years in the aviation industry, as a flight attendant. Raising a family, always a dog or two included. I currently work part-time, while enjoying the natural wonders of the Cascade mountains. Caring for others pet family members easily fits into my daily life. We live in a lovely small town, and a nice development. Taking walks on nature trails, dipping our paws in the river or creek, while taking in the views of the Cascade mountains.
