Elizabeth kept us updated daily on how he was doing, sent pictures, and communicated and a professional and prompt manner. Elizabeth was great with Bobby Lee, even teaching him some new tricks (really it was manners). She took great care of him as if he belonged to her. We are very grateful we found Elizabeth and will continue to use her to care for Bobby Lee whenever we are out of town.”
“Sandy and her husband were very welcoming to our dogs, and us! We did a meet and greet first and she introduced her dogs to ours one at a time, and all went well. So nice to not have dogs in a crate or kennel the whole time you are gone, and with Sandy they get to hang out and run around with her 3 Golden Retrievers, inside and safely outside, which is fenced. She sent us pictures while we were gone, of each dog sleeping on the couch. Very accommodating for pick-up and drop-off as well.”

About: I live on a small sheep farm. Dogs will be on long leash outdoors, but lots of room for walks multiple times a day. My dog is very good with other dogs. I work from home most of the time so they will get lots of attention. I work from home, so multiple daily walks and couch cuddles are a typical day with me. I do not leave more than 4-6 hours at a time. I have a fully fenced yard, but since I have livestock, I keep dogs on a long lead so they can explore but also be safe.

About: I have always been “dog” person. I got my first dog when I was 5 and have had multiple dogs since. I was a dog walker for neighbors and friends during adolescence and my teen years. About: I was a veterinary technician (2 years) with experience caring for both small and large animals, and I spent four years rescuing and fostering animals. I’ve worked in a veterinary clinic with a strong focus on emergency medicine, so I’ve seen firsthand how quickly things can go wrong and know what to watch for when it comes to your pet’s health and safety. I was a hospital technician for one year, meaning my job was to monitor patients, give medication, and notify the vet to any health changes. I plan to attend veterinary school in the near future, and in my free time I do TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) for feral cats and volunteer walking dogs at local shelters. I also minored in Human-Animal Relations, which has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior and how they think. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs, and safety is always my number-one priority. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall health, and I will never put your pet in an unsafe situation. Mostly, though, I’m just a HUGE animal lover. My favorite dog breeds are probably pit bulls and corgis, but my favorite animal will always be a cat. :) Boarding & Day Care I also have the perfect property for boarding, overnight stays, or day care! I live on a beautiful 5 acre property with 3 acres being a large fenced pasture where dogs can safely stretch their legs and explore. I’m a horse trainer, so I’m on the property every day and your dog will have plenty of supervision and attention. I’m also very careful about keeping dogs separated when appropriate. I do have a very friendly Lab who loves having dog friends, but they only interact if you’re comfortable with it and give me permission. The property has everything a dog could want for a little vacation- large grassy pastures, a creek, and wooded areas to explore. I make sure every dog gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, attention, and downtime. Most dogs leave happy, tired, and ready for a good nap! :) I’m also located less than 2 minutes from Silver Creek Animal Clinic, which provides emergency animal care. I pray nothing ever happens but it is conveniently close. Currently all proceeds are going towards childhood horse’s cancer treatment 😔 she took care of me as a youth so now it’s my turn to take care of her. I recently started my own horse training business, so I work primarily from my property and have an extremely flexible schedule. This makes pet care a really natural fit into my day! I feed and care for my horses around 8 AM and 5 PM, and I spend the middle of the day working and training them. I work with my Mom so she can care for the horses when I need to take care of your pets. During breaks between rides and training sessions, I’m able to spend time with the dogs, whether that means letting them run and play in the pasture, going for a walk, giving them some one-on-one attention, or just hanging out together. Working a horse takes about 45 minutes, where your dog will be left in a covered run where they can potty if needed. Because I’m on the property throughout the day, I can also accommodate early-morning or late-night drop-offs, bathroom breaks, walks, and other schedules that might be difficult for someone with a traditional 9–5 job. Your pet gets to be part of my everyday routine rather than being left alone for long stretches of time. I have plenty of space for dogs to exercise and explore, and I’m able to give them frequent attention throughout the day while still maintaining a consistent routine for my horses. I do not mix dogs and horses! I keep them very separate. Your dog’s stay will feel more like a little vacation than a traditional boarding facility! I have a 3-acre fenced pasture where dogs can safely run, explore, and get plenty of exercise and enrichment. I’m here throughout the day to supervise and spend time with the dogs. I keep all boarders separated from one another, unless you are dropping off more than one dog :) I also have a very friendly Lab who absolutely loves having dog friends, and I’m happy to let her play with your dog if allowed. You can see her in my photos. Otherwise, your dog gets their own space and one-on-one attention. I can get away with the your dog never knowing there is other dogs on property. There are several comfortable options for your pet depending on their needs and your preferences. Dogs have access to comfortable dog mats and fresh water, as well as a covered run where they can go outside and potty even when the weather isn’t cooperating. I also have large, heated horse stalls that can be used as comfortable private spaces. For dogs who are potty trained and comfortable in a home environment, they can also spend time inside my house or have their own room. I’m happy to tailor their routine to what they’re most comfortable with. Oregon winters can be rainy, but your dog won’t be stuck inside all day. When the weather is wet, they can run and play in my indoor arena or barn, which are both warm and provide plenty of room to move around. Most importantly, I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and supervision. I’m on the property every day, keep boarders separated, and make sure every dog has fresh water, a comfortable place to rest, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and attention. Whether they’re running through the pasture, exploring the property, relaxing in the house, or curling up for a nap, I want every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re here.

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. About: Hi, I’m Jolene! 🐾 I’ve been working with and caring for animals for over 4 years, I have a variety of experience caring for 100+ dogs, cats, horses, chickens, parrots, and many other animals of the years. About: I have been around pets my whole life and have been sitting for friends and family for about 3 years now. Pets are not only adorable but also fun to be around :) I am currently finishing up my last year of university at home. I will be completing a year of student teaching before graduating with a teaching license. I will be 100% available on weekends but my weekday availability will depend on my student teaching schedule. About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I have been to go to pet sitter in my neighborhood all of my life. I've dealt with one neighbor's dog in particular who is a difficult dog and requires medication. Pet care is always my number one priority because if someone was taking care of my dog, I would want the same level of care that I provide. So if your pup needs a buddy to burn off some energy she’s your pup . I work 6:30am to 2:30pm but I’m free the rest of the time to do pop in or walks. If I’m staying at your house I bring in my own food and drink. And stay with your fur baby the whole time. If I’m in home sitting I do a minimum of 3 30 min walks a day. 1 before work ,after work and before bed. And depending on your fur babies energy I’ll add in extra play time if needed. I’m stuck to strictly feeding schedules so whatever time you have them eat I’ll make sure to do they same. To help keep them in their normal routine. If I’m doing a drop in I can go walks /runs for about an hour unless you need me to take them for more time.

About: I live on a small sheep farm. Dogs will be on long leash outdoors, but lots of room for walks multiple times a day. My dog is very good with other dogs. I work from home most of the time so they will get lots of attention. I work from home, so multiple daily walks and couch cuddles are a typical day with me. I do not leave more than 4-6 hours at a time. I have a fully fenced yard, but since I have livestock, I keep dogs on a long lead so they can explore but also be safe.

About: I was a veterinary technician (2 years) with experience caring for both small and large animals, and I spent four years rescuing and fostering animals. I’ve worked in a veterinary clinic with a strong focus on emergency medicine, so I’ve seen firsthand how quickly things can go wrong and know what to watch for when it comes to your pet’s health and safety. I was a hospital technician for one year, meaning my job was to monitor patients, give medication, and notify the vet to any health changes. I plan to attend veterinary school in the near future, and in my free time I do TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) for feral cats and volunteer walking dogs at local shelters. I also minored in Human-Animal Relations, which has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior and how they think. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs, and safety is always my number-one priority. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall health, and I will never put your pet in an unsafe situation. Mostly, though, I’m just a HUGE animal lover. Getting to spend time caring for your pet genuinely feels like a treat to me. My favorite dog breeds are probably pit bulls and corgis, but my favorite animal will always be a cat. :) Boarding & Day Care I also have the perfect property for boarding, overnight stays, or day care! I live on a beautiful 5 acre property with 3 acres being a large fenced pasture where dogs can safely stretch their legs and explore. I’m a horse trainer, so I’m on the property every day and your dog will have plenty of supervision and attention. I’m also very careful about keeping dogs separated when appropriate. I do have a very friendly Lab who loves having dog friends, but they only interact if you’re comfortable with it and give me permission. The property has everything a dog could want for a little vacation- large grassy pastures, a creek, and wooded areas to explore. I make sure every dog gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, attention, and downtime. Most dogs leave happy, tired, and ready for a good nap! :) I’m also located less than 2 minutes from Silver Creek Animal Clinic, which provides emergency animal care. I pray nothing ever happens but it is conveniently close. Currently all proceeds are going towards childhood horse’s cancer treatment 😔 she took care of me as a youth so now it’s my turn to take care of her. I recently started my own horse training business, so I work primarily from my property and have an extremely flexible schedule. This makes pet care a really natural fit into my day! I feed and care for my horses around 8 AM and 5 PM, and I spend the middle of the day working and training them. I work with my Mom so she can care for the horses when I need to take care of your pets. During breaks between rides and training sessions, I’m able to spend time with the dogs, whether that means letting them run and play in the pasture, going for a walk, giving them some one-on-one attention, or just hanging out together. Working a horse takes about 45 minutes, where your dog will be left in a covered run where they can potty if needed. Because I’m on the property throughout the day, I can also accommodate early-morning or late-night drop-offs, bathroom breaks, walks, and other schedules that might be difficult for someone with a traditional 9–5 job. Your pet gets to be part of my everyday routine rather than being left alone for long stretches of time. I have plenty of space for dogs to exercise and explore, and I’m able to give them frequent attention throughout the day while still maintaining a consistent routine for my horses. I do not mix dogs and horses! I keep them very separate. Your dog’s stay will feel more like a little vacation than a traditional boarding facility! I have a 3-acre fenced pasture where dogs can safely run, explore, and get plenty of exercise and enrichment. I’m here throughout the day to supervise and spend time with the dogs. I keep all boarders separated from one another, unless you are dropping off more than one dog :) I also have a very friendly Lab who absolutely loves having dog friends, and I’m happy to let her play with your dog if allowed. You can see her in my photos. Otherwise, your dog gets their own space and one-on-one attention. I can get away with the your dog never knowing there is other dogs on property. There are several comfortable options for your pet depending on their needs and your preferences. Dogs have access to comfortable dog mats and fresh water, as well as a covered run where they can go outside and potty even when the weather isn’t cooperating. I also have large, heated horse stalls that can be used as comfortable private spaces. For dogs who are potty trained and comfortable in a home environment, they can also spend time inside my house or have their own room. I’m happy to tailor their routine to what they’re most comfortable with. Oregon winters can be rainy, but your dog won’t be stuck inside all day. When the weather is wet, they can run and play in my indoor arena or barn, which are both warm and provide plenty of room to move around. Most importantly, I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and supervision. I’m on the property every day, keep boarders separated, and make sure every dog has fresh water, a comfortable place to rest, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and attention. Whether they’re running through the pasture, exploring the property, relaxing in the house, or curling up for a nap, I want every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re here.
