I grew up with 3 corgis in my family, so I learned daily dog care early on with walks, feeding schedules, and playtime. Since then, I’ve taken care of family dogs and dogs belonging to close family friends, and I even dog sat for a breeder with more than 10 dogs at once, so I’m familiar with managing multiple dogs with different personalities, and busy households. I will do my best to accommodate all requests in the meantime and I will be transparent about any scheduling conflicts. I am hoping to spend the next year focusing on my health, continuing my veterinary learning at a pace that suits my current needs, spending time with my cats and my partner, and exploring OR. I will reliably provide updates on the status of your pets and provide immediate reports if I notice anything abnormal or medically concerning during our visit. I am always available to be contacted if there are any concerns during the services or leading up to the services. In my time off from veterinary school, I plan to pursue BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification in Portland, OR in mid May. Fingers crossed that I am able to find a class with space but I will update my profile once I have official certification shortly! How cool to have a legit medical professional as a pet/house sitter while you're away! 😎 On top of being an approved Rover sitter/covered by the Rover guarantee, I have additional insurance coverage and am bonded through an external company to simply give myself and your family peace of mind while you're away!
About: My wife and I have a combined experience of 14 years taking care of all kinds of animals. We see them as family. We were a former care coordinator for our local humane society before moving to Oregon and take looking after your family very seriously. Don't like a male in your home? No problem we'll arrange for my wife to present instead. We work together for you! When pet sitting I be sure to put your animal first. In my home I treat your animal as I would my own. With the love and care as well. I have a fenced back yard with tons of space for activities. I have a large kennel if needed. Open water feed and free range of toys and animal beds! Treats when allowed by parents. Walks when needed. Tons of cuddles. No table scraps. I adjust as well as I can to make this feel like a safe space.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs in my house and I had pet frogs! I previously was a pet sitter for dogs, cats, and sometimes other critters. Afternoon/evening/overnights during the week, or weekends work best for me as I do work. My job is flexible with me being in and out of the office, so with a day notice I could potentially do mornings and mid days. I am very open to respecting what the pet owner ask of me. I will happily send cute pictures throughout the visit! I am comfortable asking clarifying questions.
About: Safety is always my number one priority while pet sitting. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and owner guidelines to keep every pet healthy, comfortable, and protected at all times. Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! Although I do not offer boarding, I prefer watching animals in their owner’s home because I feel like it makes the animals more comfortable to be in a well-known environment. My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.
About: I have experience working as a vet tech during the summer of 2021, along with experience nursing/raising newborn puppies at home. I love all animals! I work remote all week! I have a flexible schedule that can be adjusted based upon client’s preferred time of service. I do travel for work occasionally, but my calendar is updated with all future travel plans. About: I have been a regular dog and house sitter for a family in the Eugene/Springfield area for 5 years. The family had 3 dogs. Duration of length of pet and house sit varied from one overnight to a month. I have also done feline check-ins for a a friends. Have done one-time-only pet sits for other people and regular pet sits for housemates with their own pets. I'm currently unemployed. I have ample time to prioritize care for your pet. I am seeking part time employment. If found, this will extend the hours of day that your pet is left alone in the house. I am attentive. If you have a dog, we ARE going on walks and WILL play. I follow instructions as to food quantity and medication administration. I clean up pet waste. I water gardens. Will do some cleaning during my stay if you'd like. Will clean up after myself and your pet.
