“I was very pleased with Fin who kept me updated about Blackjack. He had a couple of issues that concerned Fin regarding his digestive system. I reassured her that sometimes he does have challenges. He was fine the first seven days so likely stressed with the number of days he was at Fin’s home. Fin sent a number of photos that showed Blackjack was totally enjoying himself! I highly recommend Fin as a Dogsitter. Her backyard is a great place for dogs to hang out as is her home. I was impressed by the fact that she walked the dogs twice a day and also only takes one dog at a time.! Fin works from home so Blackjack got constant attention!”

About: Cats used to never be on my radar, but over the past 3 years, they've been a staple in my life. About: I was a Certified Veterinary Technician For 15+ years but also live on a few acreages on beautiful property on Sauvie Island. We have a Small Pug and a few cats use to dogs but also can be separated if necessary. We have a large country home and acreage for dogs to run or be walked. It is common for the dogs to be inside and outside throughout the day while we do daily activities. My husband works from home too. Moose our pug loves to play with other dogs! My husband works from home and I do some periodically throughout the year. We commonly take morning and evening walks in the local area with dogs on the leash to exercise them and ourselves. Location is about 4 min drive onto Sauvie Island from the bridge. We have a fenced yard but also have fenced in dog runs if need some time alone. Dogs stay in at night time and sleep upstairs or downstairs depending on the dog and comfort with other animals.

About: I will admit that I acquire no previous professional experience, however, I think I can speak for all animal lovers when I say that it doesn't take much when it already comes so natural in the first place. Being around 4 dogs and 2 cats growing up has made it that much more comfortable and easier to sign up for Rover. From tending anxiety attacks and engaging in playful encouragement on zoomie runs, to simple walks and strolls and chill TV sessions, animals have always been the most versed, laid-back companions anyone could ask for. As of right now, I am available Monday, Tuesday, Friday through Sunday. Times varying from morning to late afternoon. Available boarding may range from any of these dates and timeframes, but please feel free to reach out if you need an emergency walk or visit! Baths, walks, scheduled feeding times and play is always within my routine when caring for fur babies. When I had my cats, feeding time was whenever a timer set off and played the New Girl intro. Silly, yes. However, very effective.

I currently volunteer with a local cat rescue. Your pup will be well exercised, well loved, and well cared for. I work fully remote from home, meaning your dog gets consistent company and attention throughout the entire day. No long hours alone. I’m available for boarding any day of the week and can accommodate last minute requests. Walks happen morning and evening, and as needed with plenty of downtime in between. Your dog will be staying in my clean, comfortable apartment where they’ll be treated like family. I’m an experienced dog owner with a Shiba Inu of my own, so I understand dog behavior and body language well. I keep a calm, structured environment and will always communicate with you about how your pup is doing. Your dog’s safety and comfort is my priority.
