“Our 3 dogs - 3yr old Lab, 12yr old Cairn Terrier x, and 15yr old Terrier x came back after I was gone for 12 days Healthy, Happy, Clean and Adjusted. Rachel is sweet, caring, educated and responsible with everything I had asked of her, especially the feeding routines that were different for each dog. She even made special feeding adjustments for my Cairn terrier who is very attached to me and will go on a “starvation diet” when feeling displaced from myself or our home, allowing her to eat on the couch where she felt most comfortable to do that. I would not expect that level of accommodation but was so happy to see her commitment for each pet to not miss any meals. Rachel sent pictures every day with them doing various things inside and outside the house which I enjoyed, and did a check in with me to see if I wanted daily photos or not. Of course I did! I also asked Rachel if she could pay special attention to my under weight 15yr old who is already older and frail, and will eat less when I’m gone as well. My 15yr old is partially blind and hard of hearing - she came back having put on a little weight, not coming back skinnier, which spoke volumes to how comfortable my senior dog with special needs was! I was so happy to see she had gained a pound or two which she needed! On the other hand, my 3yr old lab was at a perfect weight when I brought him, and gave strict instructions for the amount of food he gets as to NOT gain weight - as labs can do so quickly. He can back EXACTLY how I left him. I am VERY pleased with the care my pups received from Rachel and I highly recommend! -Trina”

About: I am a huge dog person and have had a dog since the day I was born. When I was younger I was always volunteering at animal shelters and vet offices. I enjoy spending as much time with my own dog as possible and would love to have yours along for the ride. We like to hop in the car and go on adventures to all sorts of different parks and places. I also live on a 10 acre property with plenty of room to run around and beds to snuggle on. I love taking dogs on walks, even in the rain. I get home around 6:30 those days but drive in the Yamhill/McMinnville area so stopping in for a quick walk or dinner wouldn't be a problem at all. My schedule Monday through Thursday is completely wide open for walking, drop ins, or pet sitting, however I will not be able to pet sit Thursday night through Sunday. I have 5 dogs who are get along very well with other dogs once properly introduced. They range from 25 to 65 pounds, most of them are very active. I have extra kennels but I also have a designated dog room with a comfy couch that two of my five sleep on at night. I live on quarter of an acre with a fully fenced in yard.

About: I have worked with many different breeds such as pit bulls, boxers, mastiffs, golden retrievers and many more. Each had their own unique needs and personalities. I am willing to work with any breed even with special needs. I have experience with many different animals not just dogs and cats. I have worked with horses, bearded dragons, a few birds and a few more. If your animals needs care i will do it. I have a dog of my own and a bearded dragon so pet care is in my everyday life and so your pet is not much different. I can not board animals in my home cause i have a high anxiety senior dog so bringing any animal in to my home will not work but i will definitely stay at yours cause its a comfort thing for them. Its there own home. It not fair to kick them out of their own home. I have worked with animals for 3 years and been around them my whole life and i never had a problem and i am good at communicating with owners and i will ask questions if needed amd they can ask if needed also.
About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs and cats, we currently have 2 tabbies and a 2 yr old mini Australian Shepherd. My two girls love helping out with feeding and walking, and our own Huckleberry Finn gets along with every dog he’s met! We love having extra dogs (and cats) around to add extra flavor and excitement to our normal life. My husband and I both have super flexible schedules and are home or around with our two girls, so we always have time for our dog and any others who spend time with us! This is a win win situation where we can move on your dog, while ours gets a play date, and our girls don’t bug us for another dog 🤓 We have a 3 story house with plenty of room for all the animals to explore and run around. About: Since I was born I have had dogs in my family and friends, I've grown up with all size of dog and age of dog. I took care of my puppy and taught her how to potty on a potty pad if needed and I took care of a senior dog that couldn't walk far before being tired. I work the weekends in the health care world but love animals on the side! I don't have any dogs of my own due to my family dog which was mine has separation anxiety and I couldn't move her from my childhood home to a different state. The days i have nothing planned on are Sunday,Monday,Tuesday, and half of wednesday. Well it always will depend on the situation and dog! I always treat pets in my home like my own! I myself wouldn't want someone to not take care of my dog any different than they take care of their own.
About: I have been a pet caregiver since I was a very small girl. I have helped Mama's deliver babies when needed. I have even done mouth to mouth and chest compressions on new horns a few times when needed. I have a huge heart for pets and animals of all kinds. My family of pets are trained either to alert me to go potty, use a box or crate themselves. I am able to give medication as needed and bathe if needed. My children are PET TRAINED. I am at home all day for the entire week so I am able to keep a good schedule for my fury clients. I don’t have a problem with med or potty schedules. I listen to their needs. I watch for cues to hunger or need to potty. I feed and walk my pets or clients pets. When they need bathed I handle that as well. Medications in my house are no problem at all as over the years I’ve learned a lot about injectable and oral medications. I’m not the master for certain but I try my best to be your pets next best friend while I am with them.
About: Ive lived on a farm most of my life, currently having 4 cats 3 dogs, 13 goats,2 ducks and 2 chickens. Ive administed meds both pill and flea meds. Ive been responsible for walking dogs, changing litter boxes, letting animals out for potty and back in as well as feeding for all if them multiple times a day. Walking and generally loving them. About: I grew up on a farm taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, horses, and cows. I love all dogs but especially small dogs. My last cat was a rescue who lived to the age of 21. I personally provided iv fluids for the last 2 yrs of her life and am comfortable with meeting the needs of senior animals. I have also raised puppies and love playing with them! Currently I cannot have pets where I live so I watch my moms queensland heeler and play with my sisters German Shepard almost daily. Since my 20 yr old cat passed I have not owned another pet......yet :) I super flexible and can do whatever is needed to meet your needs. “Our 3 dogs - 3yr old Lab, 12yr old Cairn Terrier x, and 15yr old Terrier x came back after I was gone for 12 days Healthy, Happy, Clean and Adjusted. Rachel is sweet, caring, educated and responsible with everything I had asked of her, especially the feeding routines that were different for each dog. She even made special feeding adjustments for my Cairn terrier who is very attached to me and will go on a “starvation diet” when feeling displaced from myself or our home, allowing her to eat on the couch where she felt most comfortable to do that. I would not expect that level of accommodation but was so happy to see her commitment for each pet to not miss any meals. Rachel sent pictures every day with them doing various things inside and outside the house which I enjoyed, and did a check in with me to see if I wanted daily photos or not. Of course I did! I also asked Rachel if she could pay special attention to my under weight 15yr old who is already older and frail, and will eat less when I’m gone as well. My 15yr old is partially blind and hard of hearing - she came back having put on a little weight, not coming back skinnier, which spoke volumes to how comfortable my senior dog with special needs was! I was so happy to see she had gained a pound or two which she needed! On the other hand, my 3yr old lab was at a perfect weight when I brought him, and gave strict instructions for the amount of food he gets as to NOT gain weight - as labs can do so quickly. He can back EXACTLY how I left him. I am VERY pleased with the care my pups received from Rachel and I highly recommend! -Trina”

About: Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for nearly two decades. I’m a parent/caregiver to a child with disabilities and while that does not affect my ability to care for animals, it can limit some of my time due to my child’s day-to-day needs, appointments, etc. I update my calendar accordingly to reflect my availability. With that said, most of our appointments are virtual or in-home and I am a stay at home mom so I still have plenty of time for pet care. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs and I am always nearby supervising. I allow pets on furniture and treat them just like my own when I’m watching pets in my home. Instructions regarding potty breaks, feeding, kennel time, medications, etc., are always followed if given.

Dezarae was so great and sent daily updates with photos and videos without us having to ask, which meant a lot. Ginny can have some separation anxiety with me and my partner, but the consistent updates (and little details about how she was doing, especially with crate time) really helped ease my mind. Ginny clearly had the best time. She got comfortable with Dezarae’s dogs quickly and loved being part of their routine. We also booked pretty last minute and she was very flexible and accommodating. Ginny came home happily exhausted in the best way. We would absolutely book with her again.”
