About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.

About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.

My whole life revolves around animals; I have 4 cats of my own and have fostered 15 animals successfully in the past year, ranging from cats of all ages, dogs, and Guinea pigs. I also work directly with animals at my job and am looking to continue that path. I have multiple rooms in my home to separate the animals in my care if needed, I have access to professional services if an emergency were to arise while also having knowledge of what to look for in with different medical conditions that can be present in animals. I have a good understanding of animal behavior and I understand their needs.
About: I'm a dependable and hard worker who's had dogs and cats my whole life, and have been pet/house sitting off and on since I was an early teenager. I love taking dogs for runs or walks with me and getting the chance to exercise them, or just playing with them in the house. I have plenty of experience with older dogs who need medication and various special care needs, dogs who have recently had operations, as well as with puppies making messes. I also have cared for kittens and older cats who need play time or lots of love. I'm happy to give daily updates on your pets; I think they are just as cute as you do! I've taken care of houses, plants, and pets for up to three month periods, communicating with the owners the whole time. I will love and care for your pets just like you do! I currently work from home and have a completely flexible schedule, so I can fit your pets' care needs in however works best for them. I have lots of experience with very high energy working dogs, German Shepherds, who needed to be kenneled and fed in particular ways, as well as experience with caring for up to six pets at a time, making sure they're all fed and getting along at dinner or play times.
About: I have been around animals (cats, dogs, horses, and even the spare parrot!) for the majority of my life and have loved every second of it. As such, I am deeply attuned to the behaviors of our furry friends and am patient with the care I provide. At this time, I do not have the availability to provide care in my own home, as I have two fur babies of my own who get stressed easily. About: I want to hang out with dogs! I have a 3 year old golden retriever, a cat and a tortoise. You can definitely tell that we love taking care of pets! I am looking to change up my schedule, so it is likely that most of the time I will be available every week day in the morning until about 2 in the afternoon! In my home, we walk a lot! Our dog is high energy and doesn’t really get tired from exercise. We take her on long hikes often but she usually will want to play after! I hope to be able to provide some of that same excitement with your puppy, and replicate the amazing experience I’ve had on the app as a client!

About: What sets me apart is my background in both veterinary medicine and animal behavior. I have over 4 years of hands-on experience working in veterinary settings with pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs, including anxious, senior, and high-energy animals. As a Zoology student at Oregon State University, I’m especially passionate about understanding animal behavior and making sure pets feel comfortable, enriched, and safe while in my care. About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.
