About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.

One was a senior rescue and the other is a 3 year old rescue. Because of this, I do have experience working with senior dogs and administering medication to dogs. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since the day I was born. I grew up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes and have loved them more every day. I started dogsitting for family friends and neighbors when I was 12, and have done so for many different people and pets since then. If you are looking for a safe place for your dogs to run and loves playing with others then fill free to bring them to me. We have a huge fenced in yard and provide lots of fresh water. If your pup loves walking or running I definitely am capable of providing both. You’ll never have to worry on if your fur babies are being fed or taken care of properly when they stay with me they are apart of the pack. All your fur kids will be fed either at the same time or on your preferred time. We have plenty of feeding areas in the house so that they all can eat separately. I am experienced in providing pills and adding supplements to their food. We have three relaxing beds your kids can be in during their stay if your pups or kitties don’t get along with one another we provide separate areas they can be in. Don’t worry about your pups being alone during their stay here, there is always at least two people in the house at all times. I like to provide regular pupdates by sending photos and telling you how their day has been. There are plenty of additional services you can add on such as nail trimming, doggie baths, pet photoshoots etc feel free to ask about them. About: Experienced with all animals as well as even providing shots and medical care. I will love them until you come back home. I have two dogs of my own one is a mastiff so I am experienced with big dogs and my other pup has suffered from anxiety so I am very understanding of animals that may suffer from separation anxiety. About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.

About: I have a cocker spaniel back home, whom I walked daily. During the winter I walked my neighbors dog 5 times a week for 45 minutes after school. I work from home managing social media for a local bakery in Portland, I make my own schedule. I also have practice from 6:25-8:25 daily. My dog used to bark at other dogs on walks, using a reward system I’ve trained her to stop and wait quietly when dogs pass.
About: 8 years of experience with birds, and 3 with cats! Some experience with puppies and senior dogs belonging to friends and family. I'm happy to feed, medicate and play with your pet! If it's a dog, I can take them on walks up to about a mile per walk. Past experiences with pets include owning budgies starting when I was 14 (sadly, my budgie has passed away since, but lived a long and happy life) as well as living with roommates who had cats for the past 3 years. Experience with dogs is more limited, however I do have experience with my family's senior dog from childhood as well as occasionally puppy-sitting for my in-laws. In terms of availability, I am between jobs at the moment so I am very flexible. I am available pretty much anytime but have a preference for weekdays. New to the area and searching for jobs, so right now availability is very flexible. Preference for weekdays and mornings/afternoons. Anything works though, just let me know! Will follow any special instructions, no matter how convoluted! My roomate's cat is very ritualistic with her morning routine, so I get it. I would much rather pet-sit at the client's house rather than my own, especially as I do live in a shoebox apartment.

She answered my questions and special requests to make sure Izzy was peeing first day. I was able to go visit them as well. Her home is clean and neat. When we arrived to her special room for kitties for drop-off day, it was so welcoming and all set up for two cats. I felt so welcomed. I will have to replicate some of the beds and carpet she has for them, they loved them so much. There is a big, secure catio with kitty door for those cats with indoor-outdoor preferences; it has a whole wooden structure in it for them to climb or be up high or down on the ground. Valerie gave my boys lots of loves and playtime/laptime. Milo "helped" her with paperwork (ahem). She is calm and warm and loving. When I visited, they were so calm. Izzy was hesitant at first, hiding under the bed, but by day 2 he was ready to get rubs and playtime. She even plays soothing kitty t.v./music for them. I 100% recommend Valerie and her set-up. She also invited me for a meet and greet before booking. I am so grateful for Valerie taking care of my cats while I traveled and looked for a rental.”
