Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet, and I have a habit of spoiling them with plenty of love, attention, and positive experiences, while also noticing and respecting when a pet prefers to be left alone and simply kept to their routine. Along with providing excellent care, I value reliability and trust. I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone who will treat them like family, and that’s exactly what I strive to do. Spending time with animals is both calming and fulfilling for me, whether we’re relaxing at home, going for walks, playing, training, or exploring new places together. I also have professional experience as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable administering medications, caring for senior or special needs pets, monitoring for health concerns, and handling additional care such as post operative care, bandage or diaper changes. My current work schedule is with a warehouse, that being said I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate a lot more pets and schedules than I expected. I live on a farm that is fully fenced around the entire property, there is an option to have your pet(s) meet some other pets on the property and play during the day, but I also am fully prepped for keeping the dogs separate from each other for any reason if needed. When staying at your home I am respectful of privacy and rules. I will NEVER have anyone other than myself inside your home or on the property, and I will clean up after myself as well as have the home clean when you get back. I do allow dogs on furniture at my home but will not allow it if needed.

It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. About: I’ve taken care of my own pets for years and taking care of family members pets as well. I’ve had multiple dogs and cats. I also have some experience with reptiles. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to watch and play with pets. I’m super flexible with schedules and can plan around anything. I have a fenced yard for my two dogs. Both dogs know, basic commands and enjoy enrichment activities. Both are fed twice a day and given plenty of attention.

About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.
