About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

Having traveled to Portland from San Diego to visit our toddler granddaughter, we were in a bind. Our mixed-breed dog is reactive to the toddler and to the two cats who also live in the house, and that makes for a stressful visit. I wanted to get a dog sitter, but I was worried about finding someone so far from home on short notice. Our dog has a lot of separation anxiety and is rather high-strung. Julie and Barry have a beautiful, peaceful home. About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. About: I’ve always loved old dogs, my first dog was 9 when my family adopted her, I was only 7! But when I saw her for the first time I just knew she was mine. I’ve had many dogs since and absolutely love meeting new dogs and getting to know them. I am currently self employed full time so my schedule is very flexible. I generally am available for pick ups and drops offs from 7am to 12am. I treat your dog like family. Dogs on the bed! I have lots of puzzles and lick mats etc for enrichment and lots of toys at my place for boarding. I frequent many of the dog parks in the city if your pup and you are comfortable with off leash dog parks. I also know all the great walking trails around the area for on leash romps. I’ve defended my dogs against aggressive off leash dogs in the past and feel very confident in my ability to protect your baby whether at the dog park or walking the neighborhood.
