About: Growing up with pets, I learned at a very young age, that our family dog did not like being ridden like a horse! While I've been around dogs all my life, most of my experience has been acquired during my adult years. I (Laura) am a freelancing Designer, and my husband (Lawrence) is a retired Registered Nurse. Together we have many years of experience raising our own family dogs: First we had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, then two Yorkshire Terrier's, and currently a Pomeranian mix... ...We also raised a couple of boys, and their motley-menagerie of creatures. I think my heart doubled in size, when I realized I could combine two of my favorite passion's; hanging out with furry little Lapdogs, and creating miniature fashion's for Sport! I also really enjoy doing 'Street' photography of doggies and their humans. Dogs bring us so much joy, we just love making a fuss over them! We live near Downtown Cottage Grove, in one of it's walkable historic neighborhoods. Ours is a child-free home, offering 'Boarding' and 'Daycare' services--hosting only small lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. Additionally, we also do 'Drop-in' visits in 'your' home for small and medium size dogs. Our fully-fenced backyard features a variety of tree's and flower gardens, with lots of room to romp and play. It's complete with a covered patio that provides protection from rain or sun year around. Most importantly, we want you to feel worry-free, while we keep your doggie safe and happy! We are available full-time to provide pet care. Occasionally, I freelance from home--where I make and sell custom-fit dog wear, including alterations on existing doggie wearables. My husband is retired, so we have very flexible schedules to accommodate and host our Lapdog friends. We can host up to three Lapdogs per day/night. We also can do 'drop-in' visits to your home, for both small and medium size dogs. Well, around here, it's safety first! We host only Lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. (Also, we only take small breed puppies.) Ours is a child-free home, with a fully-fenced backyard. We can host up to three dogs per day/night. I always sleep in the same room with our visiting doggies--either on our comfy sofas, or our king sized bed. My husband is a retired Registered Nurse. Please be mindful that visiting dogs need to be current with vaccines, flea & tick prevention, and an identity tag. We also have zoned heating and air conditioning throughout our house. About: Their fur babies will be treated just like they’re part of my fur family. I will follow any special requests that we work out. Plus I worked with a dog rescue so I have access to tons of information if I need to receive new knowledge on something. I live in Oakridge so I also have access to local hiking trails and have a decent knowledge of local water areas that are safe and wonderful for pups of all ages and sizes to enjoy. Their fur child will have plenty of one on one attention from me, they will not feel left out or unloved. I will keep you in the know if your fur baby is behaving ill. I’ll even take plenty of pictures of them enjoying their time and share them with you. I am currently on temporary disability due to surgery. I just had so I’m unavailable at this time but once I have been released to do light stuff around the home, I will be able to take on some clients again. If there’s any safety concerns, we can discuss what they are and what we can do to address them. We are currently trying to save up to get our fence redone to ensure that there are no issues with your baby getting loose.

About: I recently trained my high energy border collie mix puppy and although he’s still a teenager, he’s turned out to be a calm, caring, and gentle pup. Most of my pet sitting care has been done for cats, but I have house sat for a family with a Newfoundland, so I have experience with large breeds. I also have cared for a smaller dog that has OCD and separation anxiety. Thanks to the research and dedication that went into puppy training, I’m well aware of what their body language is signaling, and how to adapt according to what they’re feeling. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. My weekends are pretty flexible as well. Most of my plans are in the evenings (if I do have plans). I give my pets a predictable routine. The cats need a lot of attention as they’re very social. I take my pup to the dog park every couple of days, but I also tire him out through walks, herding games, and mental stimulation.

I can read dogs body language, and dealt with traumatized dogs, among them my silver poodle, who was very traumatized by his past. I do like old dogs and have adopted some in the past. If a dog swallow something he should not have, I know how to make them throw up. I am retired, as a parent of 2 purbred miniature poodles, I spend most of my time at home, and take them out reguarly. When I have to go out, I am never gone long. I give a lots of attention to my dogs and dogs I sit. I will give the same care to your dogs and if I take them on a walk, will never let them approach a dog I don't know. the yard is fenced but will always go outside with the dogs and will take them on a leash when it's dark. About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. About: I have taken care of dogs and other pets for at least the past 5-6 years. I grew up with dogs and cats all of which I would say are really well trained and social. I have pet sat anywhere from a 10 week old Yorki puppy to an elderly cattle dog that had medical problems. I love to walk dogs and spend my free time with your pets! About: I’ve always had dogs around since I was a little kid & I’ve yet to meet one I didn’t like! I have a lot of free time and have spent much time dropping in on friends’ and family’s animals during work-hours for playtime, walks, potty breaks, playdates with my pooch, etc. I am a self-employed musician with usually way too much free time while others have to be at work- help me fill my schedule with walks, potty breaks, and playtime while you work, and housesitting when you travel! :) My current dog is a Dane-Lab mix with a ton of personality who is very social and could be requested for play dates. Having said this I am not intimidated by large breeds with puppy energy, I’ve seen it all! And I know how important proper situational control and planning is in ensuring dogs are safe and comfortable.

About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. I have a special fondness for seniors and special needs, but I’m game for anything. And, who doesn’t like puppies and an in-the-prime-of-lifer?? Ornery, shy, suspicious, or complicated personalities happily embraced. I am patient and sensitive to the fact that some animals need lots of closeness and reassurance while others need their space. I’m willing to work to earn their trust and set appropriate boundaries to earn yours. The pet and owner and I will work together to set the terms of our relationship, and I promise to be a most excellent guardian catering to each individual’s needs. My most consistent regular obligation is a daily trip to the barn to take care of my horse, but if needed, I have alternate coverage. I try to keep my presence low profile while I’m there. I appreciate the trust that comes with visiting in someone else’s home. When you come home, it’s nice for everyone if you can barely tell I was there.
About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.

About: I have grown up around dogs all my life, with that my family has also boarded some of our family friends pets. I have always had 2+ dogs in my house (different breeds as well) and am use to being around dogs as well. I am very consistent with walks/bathroom breaks and feeding time. Currently, at my house in Austin I have a rescue mutt and 2 giant English mastiffs (both over 200lbs each) but have also had very small dogs such as shitzus too. I am vegan and have so much love for animals!! About: I've been actively taking care of dogs and cats for other military families since July 2018. Most of this care has been centered around boarding for long vacations or deployments. I provide boarding for all dog breeds, boarding includes; feeding, walking, baths, and cuddles. When your dog is in my care, they are treated like my own dogs. For cats I provide drop in care because most cats don't like being removed from their homes. I am a huge cat person and when your cat is in my care I will do anything to gain their trust. I have a very flexible work schedule and am able to provide board and drop in care daily. I am home most days from work at 3pm and have weekends off. I have a fully fenced in yard with two dogs of my own who are eager to play with new friends. I love to do treat hunts with toys and go for daily walks.
