Their house was very warm and inviting and they really took to him. They were very thorough with all of their questions and made sure that they were equipped to take good care of him. During the trip they gave us constant updates and photos and we felt very safe that he was in good hands. when we went to go pick him up, he did not seem that enthusiastic to leave, which was both sad but also a great sign of how much fun he was having there. About: I got to know cats when I got my emotional support cat four years ago. Azumi was shy, sweet, and curious, and really the best cat I could've asked for. I loved getting to know her, a super-timid cat with a hard start to life. I have become a passionate lover of all cats and truly enjoy getting to know them. I pride myself with my ability to make any cat chase after a wand toy. I can feed cats early in the morning if needed. I have some experience in giving medications - orally via syringe as well as eyedrops and eye ointments. I can clean a litterbox thoroughly and as often as asked. I know cat behavior pretty well- I can recognize when to give space and when they're looking for attention or something to play with. I'd love to get to know your cat if you'd like to have me care for them!
About: I have had animals my whole life (birds, cats, dogs, etc.) and have always fed, walked, groomed, and made sure they had plenty of outside play time as well. I walk my own dog three times a day (yes, we’re that kind of household), and I genuinely can’t wait to add your pup to the routine! I’m fully that girl who has to stop and say hi to every cute dog I pass—and by the end of it, we’re best friends. So just know: your dog is not getting casual care… they’re getting full-on obsession. I work 8-5p M-F but work from home 3 days a week and have availability to walk early mornings, evenings, and during my lunch breaks! My weekends are typically very free and are usually filled with park visits and walks! I treat other dogs just like they are my own, and my girl is treated like an absolute queen! I make sure doors are securely closed, that anything potentially harmful is stored away, and always take weather into consideration when walking (if it’s over 80 degrees out, I will provide boots to ensure that pups don’t get their paws burned!) I make sure to bring water and poop bags and will always communicate if something seems off.

Before losing him in the fall of 2023, I raised and cared for my dog, Chaps, for 12 years. It was a great 12 years, and I loved spending time training him. "Sit" and "down" are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the tricks Chaps could do. I am very comfortable with pets of all sizes. I am also comfortable taking care of most any special needs your pet may have. Tell me what you and your pet like, and I will do my best to provide an experience just the way you, and they, like it! About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!

About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!

About: Hello! My name is Allison, and I have decades of experience caring for animals of all kinds, including dogs, puppies, birds, hamsters, and farm animals. I grew up in a family that owned multiple pet stores, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care from a young age. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Your pet will be in safe, loving hands with me and will get plenty of attention, care, and cuddles! 🤎 I’m currently available full-time, including weekdays and weekends 😊 I’m home most of the day, so pets will get plenty of attention, supervision, and time to play or relax. I’m happy to crate dogs if that’s part of their routine, but otherwise they’re welcome to roam the house and enjoy time in the backyard. I’m flexible and always try to follow each pet’s normal schedule so they feel comfortable and at home! 🐾 I have a fully fenced in large backyard that your pet can explore! My house has plenty of space for your pet to stretch out and make themselves feel at home. I also live near a large dog park!
About: I have grown up my entire life with all kinds of pets including cats, dogs, gerbils, fish, horses, and more and have always genuinely loved caring for animals. I especially have a soft spot for cats and dogs and I can't wait to meet your pets! When walking dogs I will be sure to take your pet on safe, engaging routes for them so they can get plenty of exercise. I will be sure to give them plenty of extra love and attention as well! I have many years of house and pet sitting experience and will take the time to follow all your specific directions. Whether its extra clean up around your home, specific pet bedtime routines, (I personally love giving my cat, Schmendrick special bedtime treats!) or anything else pertaining to excellent care for your home and pets, I am happy to provide it! I love taking pictures of animals and will take the time to send photos and frequent updates on how their doing while on our walks or while you're away. I understand and believe that all pets are family and I will absolutely treat yours as such!

About: I have had dog, cats, puppies, kittens, hedgehogs, bugs, fish, etc. I have also taken care of reptiles and so much more! I love animals of all sorts and if I'm not educated of the species, Ill make sure I will be before taking care of your baby! I work as a receptionist at a Vet Hospital Currently I'm a full-time student (working to my PHD in Vet Med) who only works three night shifts a week, and can do my schoolwork wherever needed even if its cuddled right beside Ur fur baby! I 100% listen to all needs and wants from the owner. I make sure to give daily pictures and videos of the animals to ease any stress and give lots of love!

“Our pupper loved his stay with Stephanie, her husband and Aurora! I think he was on just as much of a vacation as we were! Stephanie sent photo updates every other day or so and was very responsive whenever we reached out to her. She bought treats specificly for our little one to chew on and took him on lots of walks. Aurora the husky is super sweet and was a wonderful playmate for our pup, welcoming and social, our pup who is generally pretty timid in play with other dogs, warmed up and had a grand time. Stephanie and her husband were also very flexible with our scheduling needs and accommodated us to be able to drop off and pick up our pup! We cannot recommend them enough!”
