About: I have always loved dogs and they seem to love me too. I create a calm environment while also making sure they get the physical and mental stimulation that they need. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take regular walks with them throughout the day and very much enjoy the company. I have a fully fenced back yard and a safe, quiet neighborhood. About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? “My dog enjoyed it. The first 3-4 days was rough, but after that, she gotten so used to it, and the family is so loving and sweet. They have a huge area and land where it gives a dog space to run around. Overal the lady was super sweet and understanding, super loving and always tried to find a solution to solve a problem when we were away. I MUST RECOMMEND HER!!!!”
“My experience was seamless from start to finish. Manisha’s home environment felt very similar to our pup Bailey, making her transition smooth and stress-free. It was such a relief to enjoy my time away without feeling guilty or worrying about Bailey’s care and comfort. Manisha was an amazing caretaker! She kept me updated with constant communication and sent pictures of Bailey engaging in different activities, which I really appreciated.
