About: I've been a dog and cat owner for over 40 years, as well as some smaller creatures like hamsters! I've reared dogs from puppies, and cats from kittens, and also rescued and adopted multiple adult dogs and cats. I've been part of pet walking and sitting since my teens when helping out extended family, all the way through to more formal positions in the recent past. I truly love all animals and often put their needs over my own, wanting them to have the best care and attention possible. I also have experience with cats with diabetes and kidney problems, dogs with cancer and growth wounds that need care, and other maladies. I work remote from home out in the Applegate valley mountains, so your four-legged family members will be with me and Yoda the French Bulldog all day long. We'll play periodically, have outside time, treat time, the chance for long walks after work, and experience all-day companionship while they have free roam of the house. Yoda is here to keep your fur-kiddos company, and there is a dog door out to the closed in upper deck area with a great view of the yard for everyone, and lots of birds and butterflies to watch. An automatic water fountain provides fresh filtered water all day long. There is also a large yard for us to all explore together, and many hiking trails to go on treks together, or visiting the clean and refreshing Thompson Creek. Yoda is also happy to share his hundreds of toys that are available, from soft, to hard, to chewy or ropey.

“Kristina was wonderful! She kept us apprised of how everyone was doing daily which was great. But most importantly, the cats were happy with her. She was able to medicate those on meds the first day - which for a bunch of indoor/outdoor cats and someone they don’t really know is amazing. We also had to make some last minute changes in our plans (because ice) and she was completely fine with that. We also loved that she had experience with chickens and exotic birds as we may be adding those to our family. We very much hope to work with her again.”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and currently. I have a quiet lil home , with a very safe and secure yard. Your fur baby will be supervised at all times while outside. And while inside all dogs allowed on the furniture and the bed. Im a mature 65 year old semi retired female ,so your fur baby wil get lots of attention and love. My lil dog DAISEY is a docile , friendly 14 lb Maltipoo. She is great with all other dogs, always eager to play. I just added a second dog female mini dashound Petunia to the family. I can take your dog to the dog park ,or hiking trails if they do well with outings. My back yard is a great place to hang out, I have multiple doggie beds in the garden, and a safe secure play space. I can administer any medications or special diet your dog needs. And will keep accurate records while they are in my care, sending daily photos if you’d like . I will always be home while your dog is on my care , your dog will have full attention and care at all times. If there is a time I need to be gone it will never be for more than a hour. Weather permitting if your dog likes to ride along they will come with me. I have a secure yard with a tall fence. My gate is always latched from the inside to ensure your pet is safe. Most of the time I’m out in the garden, painting, reading or lazing around with the dogs……my favorite place to be 😃 Your dog will always be supervised while in my little yard.

About: I have have multiple years of caring for people's pets. I was a professional housekeeper with my own business for over 20 years and also cared for their animals when they were away. I have been a long time pet owner myself and recently my fur babies passed away. I am looking to earn a little extra income as a senior while enjoying the company of animals. About: I adopted my dog from a rescue 13 years ago and have fostered (in my home) over 50 dogs since then. My dogs( I have two medium sized dogs) (and any fosters or fur friends we have over) enjoy frequent walks, hikes, and dog park trips. About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. About: We had a family dog from the time I was a toddler. The first dog was a Doberman, then the next family dog was a Springer Spaniel. My family also volunteered as puppy raisers with Guide Dogs for the Blind and we raised 5 guide dog puppies. One flunked out of guide dog school and came back to live with us until she was 13. Later, I volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and helped puppy raisers with their new puppies, and weekly helped teach the classes from 12 weeks when the puppies first arrive to their puppy raiser homes, up to 18 months when they leave their puppy raisers the puppies get trained before they go back in for their formal under harness training for their blind person. All 9 years of work there we used positive reinforcement with the dogs and helped the puppy raisers. I also attended some classes with Guiding Eyes on dog body language. I also have my own rescue dog who I adopted during that time and he has had positive reinforcement training since I adopted him. I now assist owners with training or behavioral needs they may have for their dogs to make the owners and the dogs happier and more peaceful living. I also have added a list of other services, from boarding in my home, to house sitting in yours, dog walking, drop in visits, or daycare in my house. I am working from home and available basically all the time, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and over weekends as well. Days: M, T, W, T, F, S, S I don’t have kids or cats. Just me and my one 10 year old personal dog are in the house. I live in a condo and don’t have a backyard, but I have always walked my dog in the neighborhood and gone to hike at Lake Chabot which is only a 12 minute drive or at Oakland hills parks.

About: I have done pet sitting for over 5 years which include boarding, housesitting and dog walking. I have also cared for cats, chickens, exotic birds and baby goats (bottle fed). I have cared for elderly pets, seizure pets and have no problem with giving medications. ****If you are requesting housesitting, I do have a small easy-going chill dog that likes to come with me if you are ok with that. He gets along with all dogs and cats alike. I do request that we have a meet and greet prior so as to ensure you are comfortable with me in your home and with your pets. I work remotely during the day. So I would be with your pet(s) for the majority of the day. They would only be left alone a few hours on occasion for errands/appointments and such. I have a boyfriend who works later shifts, so pets won't be alone until 10am. We have a fenced back yard with a doggie door. My cat and dog let themselves out when they need to. My dog is kennel trained and usually is in her kennel when no one is home, but we leave her out when we aren't gone long. I make sure everyone has water in the morning and evening. We walk our dog around the neighborhood twice daily. One in the morning and one in the evening. I have fenced backyard. I have a doggie door for pets to come in and out. I can also close it off to control access outside. I always leash my dog when going on walks.
About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.
