About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.

“It's kind of a big deal to leave your pet with a stranger. I am so happy to report that I now have a trusted person to give love to my dog when I have to go away for work. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. I missed my pup so Anika even texted pictures over the weekend when she took him for walks. I will happily use Anika again the next time I need day or night care for Baron! Definitely recommend.”

About: I have been facilitating a daily dog pack for the last few years where i take out 10-15 dogs everyday to play, exercise, socialize, and train in a fun and safe environment. This is all done at a few different fenced in locations. This is my day job and generally goes for about 3 hours from 10am-1pm. If your animal stays with me they are welcome to join for free if you would like them to, otherwise they stay home with my partner Sophie until i am back from the doggy pack play. Ive also had dogs and cats as long as i can remember and love taking care of them. They will be treated with fun and attention while here. I also have 2 acres of fenced backyard for any dog to exercise, play and be comfortable I do seasonal work (mountain guide, backpacking so when I am home for the season I have plenty of time to give them all the attention they need! My partner sofi and i take care of them together so any animals that don't join in the dog pack are welcome to hang out with her as well. About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for many different dogs over the years. When I was 11, my family adopted a large Border Collie puppy, and I was very active in the responsibilities needed for a puppy with that much energy. Over time, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting because different dogs, especially by breed have different personalities and maintenances that are unique. I’m active and able to walk/do activities with dogs, but through experience not all dogs need that, and L’m excited to meet new pups! I’ve had significant experience with: collies, huskies, chihuahuas, rat terriers, labs, doodle mixes, and mixed recuse dogs! I work part time, but I am also a college student-athlete! In the summers and late spring my schedule is almost completely clear! In the school year I do not work, but I have certain times blocked off for practice. About: I have done pet sitting for over 5 years which include boarding, housesitting and dog walking. I have also cared for cats, chickens, exotic birds and baby goats (bottle fed). I have cared for elderly pets, seizure pets and have no problem with giving medications. ****If you are requesting housesitting, I do have a small easy-going chill dog that likes to come with me if you are ok with that. He gets along with all dogs and cats alike. I do request that we have a meet and greet prior so as to ensure you are comfortable with me in your home and with your pets. I work remotely during the day. So I would be with your pet(s) for the majority of the day. They would only be left alone a few hours on occasion for errands/appointments and such. So they would get plenty of potty breaks, love and attention while you are away. I will care for you pet(s) per your instructions. While at my house they will be allowed on furniture and my bed for extra cuddle time. They will be given plenty of walks and playtime!

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise.
